Lucky you! I am from Germany and, I am pretty sure you can't imagine, but here is literally no chance to have such close encounters with animals in the wilderness as you just showed us with the Owl. So I had the opportunity to spend a few days in the woods around Leadville, CO last week and I came upon a meadow that reminded me of you and the Great Gray habitats you explore. And there was a squirrel barking! I looked everywhere and waited a while. Nothing! Thanks for another great video!

I was lucky to be visiting my mom who had a pair of young hawks next to her house. They would screech at her and she’d sing to them. I was able to have eye contact with them for minutes at a time as they practiced flying and resting. There’s just nothing like that😊
