- Got the July/August/September 2024 edition of the Summit Racing catalog yet? If you did, then this awesome truck will look really, really familiar. The truck was rescued from a rust-filled fate by hot rodder Brian Reed-who summarily turned the truck into the Coyote-powered Pro Touring rig you see here. From its worn and weathered paint job to its surgically-spotless engine bay, there’s a lot to like about this delightfully juxtaposed rig. So, is this the ultimate shop truck? Watch the video and decide for yourself.

"Patina" is an ancient word for "To lazy to fix it properly".
I've always thought that about "Rat Rod "
Yes sir. You have the right perspective. Junk is NOT cool, just lazy.
Debatable, I do a proper paint job is a months worth of work. A good looking patina can take decades.
They literally run a body shop. I don’t think it would be much for them to paint it.
