"A MILLION THANKS MY BROTHER!!" David Phelps does a brilliant cover of Whitney Houston's song "I HAVE NOTHING". A side note, Whitney was quoted as saying "David Phelps is my favorite male singer." Also after 9/11 David and "The Gaither Vocal Band" did a tribute to the firefighters and all the others on that same stage. "LET FREEDOM RING."
I’ve followed David for years! First two times were with the Gaithers and then several, several solo concerts. God gave that man some extra lungs! Phenomenal performance!!!
David also sings End of the Beginning which he wrote the lyrics, the music and arranged and he sings it PHANTASTICLY!!!! He sings Dead Man Rising, No More Night, He's Alive, Nessun Dorma. So many great songs. He also rearranges popular songs and puts his "Phelps Magic " into it. He will throw in a run here and there and can sustain a note for a whole day!!! LOL! David has the most beautiful tenor voice and it’s an amazing show and he knows how to pause in the right place and increase the volume in the right place! I’m also amazing thing is the audience of the item is the Gaither choir and for them to join in so seamlessly and still let David stand out as the artist he is incredible! I'm so glad you 'found' the multi-talented Phabulous David Phelps! This performance goes 'viral' at Christmas and is usually the first time people hear of him, if the don't follow 'Christian' genre. He has been sing all his life. Then got his degree in music performance and classical training at Baylor University (graduated with honors!) He not only has many releases and awards, but also plays piano, writes and arranges and produces. He does sing several genre of music. You really should check out his cover of Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing'. Whitney said it was her favorite cover! You will again be impressed!! Happy New Year!

Josh Groban's version of this hymn is the best one I have ever heard and I do not usually listen to religious songs as I am an atheist but I could listen to him sing this song all day. This one was okay but nothing special.
