Antonius is low-key one of the most fun guys to watch.
i heard he also has a 9 inch cock
@@jackbauer555 haha.
He might.
Back in the day he was a near perfect masculine example. Could have done some professional/semi professional modelling.
Now. He as someone else described him in a triton cash game. He looks like he hasn’t slept in a couple years.
@@elyastoohey6621 he was a model before going Poker Pro... tf are you saying
@@ellocods7943 really. Didn’t know that.
Why do kids find the need to say low key nowadays
I see Patrick and 2019, I click.
my man
real click-a-lot you are sir.
for sure.
Thanks for letting everyone know!
He's made good calls in his time, I like him.
25K buy-in, tournament life on the line and the comment section pro's here saying they woulda snapped is hilarious. Hahaha keep going guys.
Poker "experts" are cancer
The worst place ever to learn about poker is the YT comments section. Everyone is a genius, and wins every hand they've ever played.
Without time to fully process the enormity of Patrick's call (at 06:24) we hear, "What took you so long?"
Best understated reaction EVER!
love these donkeys staring down Patrick like theyre going to get a read lol
"Don't ever try to bluff me on tv ever again or I'll take your chips and smack your mouth"
Patrick Antonius.
FORGETTABOUIT, as they say in Finland
Phil lark tried and failed as well lol
one of the greatest tank calls. Patrick Antonius tanks for 3 minutes most likely going with his read that his 6 was good after the turn check and the results of a reduced looking opponent after a 3 minute tank. the best part of this is PA at 3:50 🦈
What a legend
Lovely call Patrick, took the smuck to the cleaners, he was looking at Patrick as iff he wanted a date.
Triton is for the big Guys Charlie
he won.....
Charlie always getting the short end of the stick, he's a great player, one of the best live readers. Casuals just hop on the wagon because they saw Patrick play on TV a few times. Not taking anything away from that great call.
"Kiddy games...down the street" (joking, just seemed appropriate)
He is in fact a great player
@@beherapunya21 Yes, Patrick is a legend.
That look from Patrik at 02:20 I could hold 7-8h here & still not wanna play the hand against him...
What a great “old school” call, funny thing is the K high would won the hand if you could just show 1 card 🤣
Charlie trying to stare him down at one point, you not know who this man is? 😂 donks all his stack on 8 high to a guy who will more than happily call you on A high if he smells a rat 🙄😂🤷♂️
Casual
Lmaoo facts
wouldnt call it donking his stack away. his read was patrick was weak and he had to bet big to get him to fold which was right... but patrik knew that too and made a good call with his tourny life on the line. (also it was for half his stack not all of it)
@@EdddSaid Carrell simp.
Daniel Negreanu-you can't be loosey-goosey at the table.
Charlie Carrel-(bleep) OFF
come on patrick, slow rolling isnt fun anymore
lol
the king alone was enough though
@@samsarossmann5335 what if he's bluffed by ace high or low pocket pairs
@@Musaaaa653 He showed his 8/4 first, so Patrik new it was only 8 high to beat.
Very unethical of Patrik!
3:17 Tom "durrr" Dwan :)
?
Patrick is from another planet! Monster!!!
Nothing had changed. Patrick is still a great player.
This is a cold, hard stare! Patrick is the MF Man!
When you run into greatness
The smiling stopped after Patrick threw the chips - NICE
The ole Finmish stare down...
Get caught in that gaze too long and you'll lose your soul, let alone your wallet.
During the war my grandmother burned down her own village so the Russian soldiers would freeze to death. If you don't have 'sisu' you will perish.
Tämä jätkä osaa lukea ihmistä! Jumankauta. Antonius on paras!
I would like to see Carrel tring this bluf against Tony G. I bet the speech will be epic after the hand 🤣🤣😂
FloShow & Lex doing the commentary..top notch
Nice try Mcully Culkin wannabe, you can't bluff a legend!! Haha
It's Charlie Carrel, he sure lost that one, but he's one of the most agressive and sick players out there, he has bluffed quite a few!
Still he made his way to the highest level of poker in the world.
Making millions in the process.
What did you guys do?
(Btw it would not be a "hero call" if Patrick was playing vs your regular John Doe)
He smashed mila kunis tho
clean your mouth
@@zimzimma7890 I don't believe that for one second.
Phase 1: Let me bluff and act like I'm bluffing so he thinks I'm trying to bluff on purpose.
Phase 2: oh I might actually get a low straight
Phase 3: didnt get a straight, let me act like I got a straight and go all in.
The problem is people dont usualy go all in even if they have a striaght at that spot, the opponent obviously isn't gonna call. Most of the time it is just a value bet to extract more chip from the opponent.
@@zhiguzhou5641 Exactly what I was thinking! That's why the bluff didnt make sense to me.
yea the line doesn't really make sense. but I don't like Patrick's line either. I think he has to raise/give-up on the flop or bet/give-up turn. But yea that guy's line of bet-check-allin is just weird at this level. At small stakes it's 78 100% of the time but at this level it could easily be a 5 or 2 or some missed KQ or something.
@@gordokdestroyerofworlds3480 Folding a pair heads up SB vs BB is so weak and you're just overfolding and your opponent can get you to fold too much. Raising is horrible too, folds out worse and better hands call or shove. Think Patriks line is fine.
Nice open in the SB Charlie, really worked out for you with 48o. Nice call Patty cakes.
lissen, what a tell from Charlie, trying to look confindend, smiling etc , then seeing Antonius has a real descission and his look changes like, ooh shit he s going to call me... dead serious in an instant...
2:45 the dude try to fake check and get a tell?
Lmao
The man is a poker god! 👏🏽
Very good Patrick , respect the master !!!
Great to see he's back in the action and playing well. That video he posted last week was rough.
what video
@@elastronaute1198 instagram.com/tv/Bz-Ixw7g3Xh/?
*Lol good one Charlie... You tried to play Fuckaroo with Master Shifu*
JUST CAME HERE AFTER THAT J2 BOTTOM PAIR CALL BY ANTONIUS!
"This kid rivered a fucking set" wouldve been my thought process
😂😂😂😂
“I put him on a mother fucking pocket dueces and he just rivered a duck! Why do I always run so bad???”
*fold*
Shows 8 high bluff FUCKK
My all time favorite player :) .
Good video on how to read / see through a bluff.
I've seen Charlie do the angle shoot by rotating his wrists before
After Daniel, Patrick is my favorite poker
@ 2:47 theres a hand movement. Cracking his wrist but in a chip toss movement. Sneaky.
the fake check
love child of thanos and brad pitt 😂
ctto
Patrick my fav player ever
Was watching like 05 High Stakes and now this. He hasn’t aged at all lol!
I am more shocked to see Charlie raise preflop any2 against Antonius. That can only be good if he really thinks Antonius is defending way too little. And in this case, a J9x flop hits Antonius pretty well, so I also hate the flop bet with no equity.
there are antes PF, which justifie Charlie to open more than 95% of his hand.
So Charlie knows that antonius is gonna defend a lot against his raise (or shove).
We shouldn't say that J9x hit Antonius range, range are so deep that there are no boards which really touch BB range.
Also, J9x.
J92 is heavily different than J98 for OOP/IP EV and OOP/IP equity realization.
Charlie did a small bet, which I think its +ev because of the autofold Antonius had OTF
@@yolancohen Antes justify to play 90-95% in the SB if(!) you limp most of your hands, what you see most pros doing. It doesnt make sense to increase the potsize with bad hands like 84o if your opponent will defend and shove a lot.
When you write J9x, you usually mean that the last card is not connected, so not J98.
If Charlie assumes Antonius calls too tight, than J96 is a good board for Antonius because he doesnt have Hands like K3o, T2s, 52s, etc, but he will always have all those middle connected hands, that don't fold on this board.
what a courageous call !
i guess antonious noticed carrel staring at him a lot on the turn and river.
I can’t wait for Zachary Elwood’s take on Carrel’s live tell
I Remember when I went all in with ak vs Patrik and he sucked me out with a10
i remember i sucked him out in the washroom at the Monte Carlo
Sad to see Patrik getting old
Tom dwan same
Calvin Tong Sad that we all have to get Old.
Calvin Tong not is old, he is going bad health due to some bad thing that should abandon
@@teresaampurdanesconsola7918 No he isn't, please don't talk bullshit. Patrik is extremely healthy guy who works out a lot. He even has always talked about it's important for him to be in good physical shape to be able to play his best game.
@Calvin Tong That happens to all of us. Patrik still handsome as fuck - no homo.
GOAT
Those tells though! He was literally screaming "I am bluffing" just through his tells!
what was most biggest tell?
Easy for you to say when you see his hole cards
I think he looked suspicious and nervous in certain parts too which propably made it such a hard call but then you gotta decide if it's an act or not. Propably had a feel he is getting hustled (well Patrick did call with sixes so), it's just which way tho.
I would never want to be stared down by those eyes of ice
the Check gave it away.
For Carrel to be someone who is a live reader he doesnt see, good at it, Ive watched him be wrong in a lot of videos. Patrick on the other hand can see your soul. I've seen many amazing reads from him.
Wat a legend Patrick is
Antonius is like "fuck GTO, lets read some souls" old school poker at its best... big up!!
as would one great man say:On your bike kid!
@1:20 seems he said to the dealer "do you mind scooting back a bit" (or smth similar) and she did scoot back so he could stare down PA. Interesting. Seems a bit iffy
love to watch him play
carrel was going to check on the river but he pulled his hand back
He was cracking his wrist.
Antonius had him sussed from the start old school pro at his best
dude was staring down patrik even though the action was on him then checks the turn then starts smiling and stops staring patrik down acts completely opposite and gives the tell of trying to give off reverse tells
Okay professional. With a professional observation
Easy tell imo too
The "god please don't call this All-in bet" was the true tell. Patrick was thinking.. did he flop trip 9's and making it look like a bluff? Even then wouldn't he still bet for value?
Certainly added a liveread on "overly extended confidence" or how you wanna call it to the maths to make this decision
Charlie is like an open book
Looks nervous
So play heads up vs him. He's worth a few millions. Easy money, right? You make me cringe xD
@@c.l.368 easy bud, in this particular hand many people can see he's bluffing lol
@@AdamTrupish Lol yea, that's what happens when you can see his cards LMAO. Yo, you all must be filthy rich from your poker winnings....
As you can see nobody needed to see his cards. Almost sounds like you're irrationally in love with him
Here come the easy call all day comments from all the poker pros
Lol, I was gonna say that in Patrick's position, I probably couldnt make the call, but I really would think I was ahead here. Of course, it's easier when you're not in the hand. :D
IKR.
Some serious Vitamin D deficiency right there...
Patrick beat him with his mental game there...and the camera caught it pretty good..you could see Carroll go from "la la la" to "ohhh fuuuuuck please don't call" on about the 3rd time bank card.
3:55 I was just thinking about if you were to do your own fake tells when you mentioned this
I think Carrell asking how deep Antonius was pre was a pretty big tell?
patrick is somehow hilarious to me while doing literally nothing
3:38. I LOVE THAT DUDE. patrick is all hand looking but no looking (like you should lol), and then when you do not need to hide anymore, and you can really look, he start the devil eye. DAMN WHAT A LOOK DUDE. I think I never saw him looking like that even once on HSP. That is the reall look of a predator.
3:49 that is terror hahaha. someone look and me like that and I say "ok dude, sorry, I go away"
stop spoiling the hand in description please! :)
Antonius has trained hard against Durrr's bluffs 😏
When ever i see that guy Charlie his always losing , how does he keep playing?
He is in a band. Plays for fun
What band? Im guessing his wealthy
he won the tournament that this is from lol
Sickkkkkkkkkkk, in 2019!
"what took you so long" LOL
Patrick read him like a book.
But it looks like Hollywood call and how he red that? Makes me question the hole game! But what do I know I'm only Finnish
Me in that situation: 432.575 f**ks given
Patrick: 0 f**ks given
Dont realy make sense..when Carrel checks on the Turn..he is kinda giving up. So WHY go all in on the River. on a card like 2. Great call by Patrick
Carrell is trying to represent a strong hand that is trying to look weak.
Because if he did have a good hand, playing it like that with a check on the turn then shove on the river, would be a good way of encouraging Patrik to call.
@@JeanJean-rn7em you forget that the way the hand has been played.. does not indicate him having a strong hand.
If he had..how would he be sure to get value from it. ??
When the Q comes..he know he does not have it,but he also do not know if Patrick, have a Q.
In all with him raising Preflop and Flop and shutting down on the Turn,he's story do not add up.
Patrick also figures this out.
The Check on the turn is the key moment.
@@yourmaninlondoncollecting5749 I love how many "poker experts" think this play was dumb and obvious. Go play Charlie for a heads up or something. Easy money right? The cringe is real...
@@c.l.368 Its as if they think Charlie doesn't ever check turn with good hands lmao. So cringey
@@c.l.368 TBF, he is right. bet/check/ all in, is such a rare "value line". Turn is draw heavy, with big pairs and even a jack you would want to bet on turn on this draw heavy board against a fairly wide BB range. Charlie is very likely super imbalanced in this spot.
Antonius has always been a beast!
I miss Gabe Kaplan, these new commentators are annoying and disengaging af
Juanda had trips
That check chek turn killed his bluff chance really
Got him patty!
Props to dude in the small blind for punting off his stack with 84o totally unnecessarily and in a manner that makes the game irritating.
I don't understand why to challenge Antonius in his work😂
well, its a tournament...the buyin was what 10,000 or maybe 25000...so the dude was only risking that much (peanuts in the high stakes world)...and maybe there were still re-buys open at that point too? challenging Antonius to high stakes cash would be much bolder and i don't think you'd see this play, maybe ever..
Chewbaka vs ufo
Could the graphics be smaller
Uhhhh... Louis de Pointe du Lac for the poor just got bitten xD
Patrik hasn’t aged at all. He looks the same like he did 15 years ago
Never seen him squirm this much in the tank
Of all the people to try and bluff.........no, just no! Hes a ridiculously talented player and will ruin you 9 times out of 10! Sat n worked him out and read him like a boss!!
It is a bit odd...
You would think that most of these players would know exactly who Patrick Antonius is, and they should also know that he is the KING of the "Hero Call".
So, is it that they don't know him, or, do they just want to be able to say "I bluffed P.A.! I beat him for an All In pot!"???
Con grats! I had no idea what he might had..
Its a great call but honestly this seems more of a bluff than value. What shoves for value on the river, vs Patricks obvious 1 pair hands?
The silent type always comes thru....refreshing
Man.. Antonius can read you every day. Don´t even try :D
Imagine if the 7 came up 😂
