    The panel seal is a security sticker that is tamper evident and is placed by the airline. It’s usually placed on accessible panels that only need to be opened by maintenance. You might notice them on light covers in the lavatory as another example

    Thanks for this great video! I have a couple of questions regarding the catering. First, was there any mid-flight snack available either upon request or in the galley? (If so, what items were there?) Second, on ANA's website, they mention that PE passengers can request wines and champagne from business class after the main meal and before the second meal services. Was that in fact available?

    • @STRFlyer99
      @STRFlyer99  Год назад +2

      Hi,
      I would assume all ANA long haul flights have a similar snack selection as seen in the video. These snacks are available in the galley, but the flight attendant kindly brought them over for me.
      However, that flight was really empty, so I don't know if that is a regular occurence.
      Regarding the business class wines: I don't drink alcohol, so unfortunately I did not inquire about this. Sorry!

    I am not able to find out how much the seat recline is (in terms of inches/cm or degrees) compared to regular economy. ANA's website does not have this information, nor does it have a photo/visual showing a upright seat next to a reclined seat, which would give a good idea of level of recline. Does anyone have this data, or at least some idea? (For me, seat recline is the most important factor for trying to sleep during a flight.) Thank you.

    • @STRFlyer99
      @STRFlyer99  Год назад

      I didn't measure it, so I can only tell you how it felt to me. For me, it felt like about double of the recline in Economy.
      One thing to note (about Premium Economy seats in general) is that foot space gets really tight when you use the legrest, and this seat is no exception.

    • @bkk06ust

When I fly to Asia, I always fly Asian airlines because I find the majority of the US airlines flight staff to be unfriendly, rude or inconsiderate. Not only that but there seems to be baggage issues on all of the ones I’ve flown with the exception of Southwest.

But fear not as they are willing to book us on another flight LAX to Tokyo about 40 minutes later from the original flight but at twice the price. Hi, sorry for the late reply. Hope everything has gone well.
      At least in Europe, airlines can pretty much do whatever they want until 14 days before departure, and they are not required to rebook passengers before this deadline (they can offer alternatives or a full refund).
      I don't know how that works in the US, but I would assume it is a somewhat similar system.

    I just flew ANA recently to Los Angeles from Manila with a lay over in Narita. Upon landing in Narita, we were held for few minutes they said waiting for instructions from the captain. I said I just have a few minutes left for my connection flight for LA. I may be late. But the stewardess just smile and say sorry. It's a bad service for ANA and i almost missed my flight. Never again with this airline.

    • @STRFlyer99

      To be fair, the captain does not decide if they hold or not. Most probably, ATC or airport staff instructed them to wait, so there is nothing ANA could do about it.
