I've been watching all of yall's builds for a long time and I've gotta say, this old truck paired with the episodes building that 300 is probably my favorite so far. I'd love to see that truck get freshened up underneath both visually and functionally, get some taller gears to make it more streetable and somewhat restored to its former glory. Maybe keep with the white paint scheme and give it blue accents to match the 300 and some fresh chrome to bring her back around. That truck has so much potential and it could all be done within a very reasonable budget 🤙🤙🤙
You know what they say! A bolt can't be stuck if it's liquid! Hence the flame wrench is good to use on rusted out hardware! I'm more than confident that Gabby has done a lotta work with wood. Don't let her fool ya!
Love this build. Gear change better suspension setup for sure. Probably a transmission and clutch upgrade. A few personal/custom features and touches would be cool.
The truck is quite good looking. I was hoping for a proper exhaust. Suspension wise... I think they kinda made it unusable in my books. Other than that I like the build :)
Personally I take a grinder with a wire wheel to bolts that have alot of rust and corrosion on them. Before I even try to remove. I don't know how many I've gotten free and they end up galling when you get to the exposed threads. Precleaning them helps to eliminate that problem. I work in a mineral/vitamin/ feed mill and all the mineral cause extreme wear. I've taken off bolts that were installed a year previous but look similar to bolts that have been on a vehicle for 50 years. Penetrating oil and heat is great for breaking it free but you'll want to remove any potential issues after that.
@@harveylong5878 I totally expect that to be coming. But not many companies make a bunch of parts for the 300 or old dually one tons. But I expect a later 5spd swap, some mucho expensive custom rear axle assembly and Brake system.

I agree. They could do something cool with the opening in the front of the hood to direct air over the intercooler,Subaru style, but as it stands that intercooler isn’t doing much good. Front mount probably would be less work and less likely to break.
