There is no other word than 'magic' to explain what inspire an artist to create and one great song after the other, and to find the inspiration to fix on a record more than a special moment in each and every of songs.
It happens very rarely nowadays, especially in metal and especially for bands with so many albums in their discography to be compared to.
'Nemesis' is the album that brought the mysterious magic in Stratovarius' life.
The album blew everyone away and set the beginning of another start in the long history of the Finnish band.
With the incredible sense for melodies and their powerful and technically elaborated style, the band once more visited the "higher floors" of the charts worldwide (Finland: #3, and basically top 40 in every country in the world).
The song 'Unbreakable' immediately became one of the bands' most streamed songs ever, with thousands of fans enjoying it every single day since its release.
Throughout 2013, the band dedicated their energy to the 'Nordic Nexus Of Nemesis Tour' and delivered their dedicated fans with unforgettable live performances everywhere they went.
It's with a spirit of gratitude towards the fans that the band agreed to release a special edition of 'Nemesis' -- now including a full bonus Documentary DVD.
The 'double program' (studio album/Documentary DVD) will be released on May 2nd, 2014 on earMUSIC.
The 80 minute documentary 'Nemesis Days' follows Stratovarius around the world and gives an in-depth view of Finland's finest metal band, revealing the story of 'Nemesis' and sharing their view about the evolution of the band. I don't care at all to make comparisons with old Stratovarius, I'm here just to state that: 1) this is one of the best songs I've ever listened to (and man I've listened to a whole lotta songs!); 2) it moves me to tears in the end; 3) lyrics are just of the finest poetry. OK, here is a fresh idea: this is a good song from the new and different Stratovarius. I am a die-hard fan of the old Strato. And this is good. Some changes are envitable. I still wish the old one would exist. Yet, I am not mad about this song. Just enjoy.

Sometimes we all live a lie for so many years but we must all try to have the courage to live it even if it might be the last time. Imagine if this song played in Multiverse of Madness. Maybe Wanda might have had an even better life even if her imprisonment or execution was unavoidable. After all the years that i've listened to this band, they continue to amaze me with the wonderful music that they put forth. It's powerful.
The song is haunting and melancholic, it's another fantastic milestone in the history of tale-telling in the music form. I just can't get enough of metal albums consisting of songs that have real stories or thoughts in them - the special language of music and its lyrics is perfectly preserved in pieces like this one.

Pra mim a melhor faixa do Stratovarius pós saída do Tolkki! Essa música é feita para aqueles que nasceram com alma de escritor; não faz sentido viver se não for para pôr no papel aquilo que está em sua mente. O personagem da história se dedicou à escrita desde garoto e levou consigo essa paixão até seu último dia de vida. Ele tentou se apaixonar, no entanto a moça vendo que não teria tanto espaço assim na vida dele quanto o seu caderno e não podia ter o seu amor real sem ser através das páginas, o deixou. Ele se frustra. Na raiva despedaça tudo aquilo que ele já tinha trabalhado no papel e fica abatido, mas ao ver seu caderno de infância com rabiscos infantis caiu em si que ele não nascera para viver uma paixão normal como qualquer outra pessoa, pois o combustível que o movia e significava tudo para si era ter um lápis em sua mão e um papel ao alcance. Que música maravilhosa! É de se emocionar assistindo a vida do personagem se passando, ele com sua paixão ainda viva a cada dia que se passa, apesar de sentir que algumas coisas lhe são proibidas. No final ele retorna ao seu estado inicial e puro da infância. Ao colocar sua mão direita entre seus olhos e o sol, é levado àquela era quando ele era pequeno e passava seus dias com seu caderno embaixo do braço buscando algum lugar tranquilo e inspiração para escrever.
