This song and the album just blows my mind. Taking your melodic power metal formula and adding some modern dance and eurobeat sensibilities to half the tracks. It shouldn't work, but it fucking does. Props to Jans.

Matias is a beast in the guitar and i love the fact that u can actually hear the thundering bass guitar in all their songs. Awesome band and timo's voice is amazing.

i also thought of that too at first, but when i dug deep into the lyrics I realized that the girl in teh video makes perfect sense, but her actions we can see that she is the personification of someone who no matter how hard she tries she can't hit her goals, because something comes up and blocks her way, that's why she acts hopeless and she sings/shouts the song, until then she is waiting for her halcyon days (period of calm and peace)

I'm not a die hard Stratovarius fan, I own a couple of albums (Episode, Visions, Destiny), but I have to say that this is probably the best Stratovarius song I've ever heard. Why are some people disliking this song? Because of the "solo?" Because of the influences from electronical music? C'mon, the song is fresh and still as Stratovarius as it gets. Catchy as hell, but that's how I like my metal.

This song kinda reminds me of Eurovision song contest songs, but it´s still really epic and totally works. It has it all, sense of melody, it´s catchy, chorus is highly sing-a-long, cool almost thrash metal moments to balance with slower parts and awesome singer. 12 points for Finland!

Concuerdo que la producción es impecable y me gusta mucho la partitura de la canción. I dont think this is the best song on the album (thats a tie between the title track and Fireborn) but I think this is the most refreshing album of the matias era.
This is the cd that I've been waiting forever for Stratovarius to release! Their last few cd's weren't near the brilliance that this band is capable of. This cd grows on you big time with repeated listens. Man, I'm singing half of the choruses in my mind throughout the day. Definitely a catchy cd and a must have for Stratovarius fans.
Why fans of this band not understand they try to make anything new, is boring keep the same way that tired the people so anything new is good and this song in my Opinion is nice obviously you don't compare this with the others old song how visions learning to fly etc....Just listen up and enjoy

hay que explorar y evolucionar, strato no se puede quedar pegado en el episode, destiny, visions o infinite. Lo único que hará será vagar bajo la sombra de esos discos que son unas verdaderas obras de arte. Excelente la evolución, johansson tomando mas protagonismo y con muy buenos músicos e interpretes, en vivo tienen una calidad de ejecución muy buena ! los nuevos discos exploran nuevos sonidos y agregan algo de progresivo a los temas. Una de las pocas bandas que ha sabido reinventarse para bien ! aguante Stratovarius.
de echo el Elements 2 fue un desastre de disco repetitivo y monotono porke se kedaron estancados, y esa gente cerrada Tolkiana no puede apreciar el gran trabajo de Kotipelto y Johanson en esta nueva era
el elements parte 2 fue un disco de transición, si bien tiene algunos temas como i walk to my own song o know the difference y algunas otras por ahí que si pegan, aunque fueron las menos, fue un "mal disco" comparándolo con lo demás, a pesar que soy fanático y los escucho todos xD ya que todos tratan de entregar un mensaje mucho mas profundo que la propia música. Aprecio tanto el trabajo de timo tolkki al que considero un tremendo compositor, como el trabajo de los nuevos integrantes los que le dieron un nuevo aire y un cambio necesario. Como dices johansson y kotipelto son los protagonistas en esta era, está muy bien, johansson sin duda el mejor tecladista dentro del estilo y kotipelto que se mantiene muy bien con el pasar de los años sumandose al talento y limpieza de kupianen, quedó muy bien ensamblado el nuevo stratovarius ;D con el némesis eso si llegaron a un pic explotando el nuevo estilo, así que yo por lo menos como fanático espero un nuevo cambio para el siguiente disco... simplemente veremos que nos prepara para el futuro esta "máquina indestructible" como lo dijeron en una presentación en una radio española.

Lol he is way better. Tolkki composed many good, straight-forward songs, but as a guitarist he has nothing on Kupiainen. Although Kupiainen is much more prog influenced
In Tolkki's late years I agree, he was having problems in copying himself so much. I can't see a better replacement for Tolkki, they found Matias in a gold mine!

si, realmente es una banda muy buena y además, sus músicos son de primera linea. yo los vengo escuchando de hace mas de 12 años y espero escucharlos por muchos más.
apoyo tu comentario, y agregaré que los viejos exitos de stratovarius como Black Diamond, Speed of light, Hunting High an Low, freedon, Destiny, S.O.S, etc, esas canciones seguiran existiendo y podremos seguir apreciandolas como el buen powermetal que son. Y pués los músicos son así a todos les gusta experimentar y agregar cosas nuevas haber que tal les va, la monotonía aburre y te cierra las puertas a descubrir
un comentario muy inteligente ke mucha gente cerrada fan de Tolkki o de Sonata Arctica (llorando siempre para ke vuelvan a sonar como antes) no entiende
hay que explorar y evolucionar, strato no se puede quedar pegado en el episode, destiny, visions o infinite. Lo único que hará será vagar bajo la sombra de esos discos que son unas verdaderas obras de arte. Excelente la evolución, johansson tomando mas protagonismo y con muy buenos músicos e interpretes, en vivo tienen una calidad de ejecución muy buena ! los nuevos discos exploran nuevos sonidos y agregan algo de progresivo a los temas. Una de las pocas bandas que ha sabido reinventarse para bien ! aguante Stratovarius.
de echo el Elements 2 fue un desastre de disco repetitivo y monotono porke se kedaron estancados, y esa gente cerrada Tolkiana no puede apreciar el gran trabajo de Kotipelto y Johanson en esta nueva era
el elements parte 2 fue un disco de transición, si bien tiene algunos temas como i walk to my own song o know the difference y algunas otras por ahí que si pegan, aunque fueron las menos, fue un "mal disco" comparándolo con lo demás, a pesar que soy fanático y los escucho todos xD ya que todos tratan de entregar un mensaje mucho mas profundo que la propia música. Aprecio tanto el trabajo de timo tolkki al que considero un tremendo compositor, como el trabajo de los nuevos integrantes los que le dieron un nuevo aire y un cambio necesario. Como dices johansson y kotipelto son los protagonistas en esta era, está muy bien, johansson sin duda el mejor tecladista dentro del estilo y kotipelto que se mantiene muy bien con el pasar de los años sumandose al talento y limpieza de kupianen, quedó muy bien ensamblado el nuevo stratovarius ;D con el némesis eso si llegaron a un pic explotando el nuevo estilo, así que yo por lo menos como fanático espero un nuevo cambio para el siguiente disco... simplemente veremos que nos prepara para el futuro esta "máquina indestructible" como lo dijeron en una presentación en una radio española.

yeah, especially live Matias is a league or two higher than Tolkki even though I apreciate all the things he did for Stratovarius, but they are better off with Matias.
Lol he is way better. Tolkki composed many good, straight-forward songs, but as a guitarist he has nothing on Kupiainen. Although Kupiainen is much more prog influenced
In Tolkki's late years I agree, he was having problems in copying himself so much. I can't see a better replacement for Tolkki, they found Matias in a gold mine!

@ mlk? Ouço a banda a 19 anos. Tenho todos os álbuns da banda com tolkki em cd. Muitos deles comprados com dinheiro que eu guardava do lancha da escola. Não aceitar o Popvarius é direito meu.
