I'm so glad I re-found this. I was 10 years old when this released in 2000. My uncle was playing this album as background noise when my family went to visit (he got me into metal when I was a young kid before that). I ended up forgetting about them until this came up in my recommended just now. Just bought the limited edition remaster rerelease of Infinite. Now a bunch of bands I haven't listened to in years are popping up in my feed and have released new stuff since. Can't wait to get back into what I grew up with.

This song is about how a worker with a high social status can feel and experiment. The dream of a new life, trade his life/career with someone else no matter who he is and to be free. Freedom is symbolized by the dog escaping from the working place. However, we see a security camera watching him in his working environment to express the alienation feeling of the man (working place can be a source of alienation if you don't enjoy the redundancy of your job). The dolphin as an intelligent species on earth and the ‘’human species'’ need changes as symbolized by fire in the video clip. This stereotypical scheme ''sleep eat and work in the same place all your life'' is not a sign of intelligent life as humans pretend. We see the dream of this man : escaping this reality symbolized by throwing his cellphone (a useful tool in workplace) in the fire. I hope this interpretation will help people thinking about his career and to remember the need of changes. We are human, not a working machine with no feeling. There is so much more in this universe.

Pamiętam jak 10 lat temu zaczynałem swoją przygodę ze słuchaniem power metalu. To był jeden z pierwszych utworów tego gatunku jaki miałem okazję poznać. Pamiętam jak uczyłem się wtedy codziennie wieczorami do gimnazjalnych konkursów z geografii i chemii, słuchając z mp3 piosenek zespołów Nightwish, Stratovarius czy Hammerfall. Teraz już jestem dużo starszy, studia i praca, radzę sobie w życiu dobrze i samodzielnie. Łezka się w oku kręci.

This is the song that brought me to Stratovarius. Back in 2014, I'm searching a band that look like Galneryus and found this band, both band accompany my wonderful college life. Stratovarius' lyrics about life are so powerful and encourage me to keep on fighting (especially Destiny album), so glad I found this band. Also, whenever I read Berserk manga, I always play Stratovarius, Infinite and Elements albums are really fits the theme, it's feels so magical and mystical at the same time. So powerful and boost the dark fantasy feeling.

My late friend was a fan of Stratovarius... eternal memory to him. He also introduced me to Dragon Ball Z.
