Good review. I didn't see this particular review until after I purchased my Franchi Momentum elite in 350 Legend (live in IL)- other than my custom smokeless ML, I have never had better results. Each three shot group I had was sub-1 MOA with my hand-loaded 170gr Hornady Interbond bullets and H110. My best group from the bench was .52. After zeroing and then shooting three sub MOA groups I decided I wasn't even going to mess around shooting my various other load combinations. I purchased this rifle after really appreciating the accuracy and terminal impact from my daughter's CVA Scout in 350 Legend and my friend's son's Savage 350 Legend- awesome straight wall cartridge for deer hunting- accurate, with very minimal recoil. I will be testing the Momentum out to a maximum of 200yrds when I get the chance.
I have one and build quality is letting than I'd hope for. I have a tikka superlite and much prefer that. I've also looked at and am very impressed with the bergara timber.
With the detachable mag, Franchi could offer higher capacity mags, but they don't. Also how is the aftermarket for this? Stock upgrades? Trigger upgrades?
I literally love everything about this rifle I had one picked out and set back at the shop I went to pick it up for the life of me I couldn’t get the magazine to release or could my buddy or the salesman it was a nightmare we never got it to come out lol that little button in the trigger guard was more then a pain in the @$$ so I ended up getting a Tikka T3x lite in 308
You have to push it from inside of the trigger guard. It's an awesome rifle. Only thing I don't like is the plastic 3 round mag, but it doesn't bother me that much. Very accurate gun for a good price makes it worth it.
on my 350 legend Franchi Momentum Elite I had high insertion force needed to retain the magazine. There is an engagement hole on the front side of the magazine that I opened up a coupe thousands to fix the problem. I ordered a second mag from Franchi and it also had the same problem. Although I have fixed the problem, the root cause is in the engagement button and not the mag,
That offhand at 200 was impressive.

Just to let ya know you CAN buy extended capacity mags from Franchi so the mag gripe is easily fixable with $50 you have an 8 round capacity mag.
I'm seriously thinking of getting one of these for next season's deer hunt. Can't wait to give it a try. :)

Worth adding to collection.
Cool, I haven't seen a Franchi since Russcap had an aluminum Franchi shotgun that weighed maybe an ounce - lol
I don't have the Elite, I have a 300 Win. Mag in the Momentum.. I love it.
Nice rifle and great review but these days budget rifles with the right ammunition will shoot as good as any rifle at that price point
What brand buttstock cartridge holder are you using?

That group was a little bit right so wouldn’t you have to adjust the scope right or do you move it the other way
Can you add link for cheek rest
