Trains at Bradford Interchange - 08/10/2020

Filmed on 08/10/2020. Moving along the Calder Valley Line towards the main interchange station linking for services throughout the heart of North/West/East Yorkshire, Bradford Interchange (Season 7 Episode 19)
This is one of 2 stations in the city of Bradford with Interchange for mostly serivces to Greater Manchester, Leeds, York & Blackpool North. Not forgetting to mention daily Grand Central Trains services which operates trains between Bradford Interchange and London Kings Cross via Wakefield Kirkgate.
New services has been introduced by Northern of the this service linking between West and East Yorkshire, the new hourly Hull to Halifax via Leeds services. The idea is for this service to work alongisde Transpennine Express between Leeds and Hull to ensure for 2 trains an hour linking the 2 major cities.
The new 'shuttle' service which used to be ran by single car class 153's on the new Bradford Interchange to Huddersfield via Halifax services. It does sound odd but there is a good reason. It's because Northern has introduced an additional services between Leeds and Manchester Victoria via Halifax. Hence why Bradford to Huddersfield shuttle services are intorduced.
