This setup leads to so many genuine laugh-out-loud moments. 🤣 Absolute gold from start to finish! Also, the studio lights and editing is awesome. Your team really knocks it out of the park every time!
AHHH WHAT AN INCREDIBLE TREAT!!! I rewatched the previous episodes only last night, Luke did such an amazing job with the story and making amnesia mechanics for DND.
@@Mistwolfss I meant there was one previous dnd but everyone has amnesia session, but it was in two seperate videos so that’s what I meant when I said episodes.
I think I already mentioned this on an earlier DnD But Everyone Has Amnesia, but anyways: everytime I hear them describing the character sheets with scratch card material, my first thought is "someone got their hands on a machine that can print those, and they worked backwards from there". And the world is so much better off because that happened.
The whole "big jerk" and "that's not what you were saying to me the other night" bit is hilarious; made more so by Luke's emphatic "NO" as to whether the guy was good looking.
This adventure was more complicated and intriguing than the first one, kudos to Luke! Just really really fun to watch all this chaos and shenanigans and the signature street urchin!
love the Amnesia set up, it's fun trying to guess what everyone is planing as and what connections they have to each other. great story, very much enjoyed the whole thing
Great episode! It made me laugh out loud several times 😆 Kudos to Luke for the story and characters, and to Andy, Mike and Jane for the fun spell reveals and applications! Can we get an Amnesia 3? 😇
I like that everyone has combat spells and abilities this time, as hilarious as it was to see Mike on the verge of death for like 4 solid hours and watching Jane and Sullivan planning around "how the shit do we keep mike alive?!" in the first game, this one is flowing a lot more smoothly. Still though, NGL, i really wanted to see how things played out for those characters in the end.... Did birdman ever reconnect with his estranged criminally connected family? Did Mike the tabaxi and Jane the monk ever over-throw that evil count, or duke or whatever??? ah well, maybe one day we'll find out lol
Amazing stuff, guys! As many have said, I would love more of these amnesia episodes, Luke is a fantastic DM, and the crew, as always, were on excellent form. Cheers!!
Stupid algorithm. I thought this was part 2 of the last one. I wondered why the gap was so large. Quickly realized this was a new one and I had to hurry and go find the actual part 2 to watch that first. Regardless, fabulous idea and you all are amazing.
I think this format could be enhanced even further by hiding not just spells, but miscellaneous Oxventure-style actions, e.g. "swallow entire live tortoise" or "punch self in crotch".
Another wonderful adventure! So happy for all the callbacks to the first Amnesia storyline. Makes me hope we can get some more stories in this world and get rid of that Duke.
As a Canadian with a Canadian accent and not an English one, it took me longer than it should have to realize that the captions were wrong at 28:26 and that what Luke actually said was PAWN shop.
@@gwishart We call it a pawn shop, the point is that the English accent makes it sound like a shop of... a different kind, involving images of unclothed bodies... :P
@@gwishart We call them pawn shops. But we don’t pronounce the “w” in the word “pawn”, and the British way of pronouncing the “w” sounds a whole lot like an “r” over this way. And evidently the AI creating the captioning agrees with me.
While I would love some gender-bender chaos, having the characters be their players‘ gender makes this scenario a whole lot more accessible for most people. XP to Level 3‘s Tomb of Horrors had the gender-bender happen to a character, and the player was perfectly fine with it. She‘s amazing.
That's great!!! Well done, Luke!!! And Jane, Mike and Andy did great!!! That was fun to watch. Bet it was a blast playing. Bet I'm not the only one who'd love to play with all of you. Too bad I'm a trucker in the states and wouldn't be able to. Ah well. Still fun and pure enjoyment to watch. Love all of you!!!
yaaaaaaaay, I was sad to miss you guys live, being in America. but this makes me so happy. I loved the first one, the chaos with the random spells bring my little adhd heart happy thanks so much love you all.
2:12:27 Reminds me of how I settled that duel matter in Dishonored. I cast freeze time just as my opponent fired. Cast possession on him then walked him in front of his own bullet. Exited his form and walked back to my starting position just before time resumed it's normal pace.
Andy that magic missile bit was brilliant! I love this system. Scratch off sheets in oxventure shop when? I've actually played this before I saw it on Oxventure, though it was just online with my GM running a module without telling us our stats. Always fun.
31:32 Mike: 'gets into a fight w/ a boy' Luke: ''a memory stirs'' Mike: ''Do i menace lil boys often?'' * Andy laughs mischievously 'cause innuendos * 🤣🤣
I know it's been a while but it still hit me whenever they have to ask luke "where can people find you" since he's no longer an in-house host on the channel 😥 awesome stuff btw, I really think it'd be cool if this amnesia mechanic is implemented into a regular d&d campaign where one party member is a "wild card" who didn't make their own character but have to either piece things together with the help of the other party members or just actively rebel against their past whenever a figment is revealed. feels like something they could do with characters like robin/morven, where for example robin doesn't know morven exists at all and that his HP is very low, while morven when she inevitably wakes doesn't know her own skills so she has to do the scratches. might be a bit chaotic but.............isn't that par for the course for oxventure??
This setup leads to so many genuine laugh-out-loud moments. 🤣 Absolute gold from start to finish! Also, the studio lights and editing is awesome. Your team really knocks it out of the park every time!
I’ve been following you for years and what a fun surprise to see you here !
30:43 Love that Luke's street children almost always end up chosing violence 😂
Feign Death was the real hero all along.
"I'll do you one better!"
Dead.
"What does Slow do?"
"Oh it's just an evil spell that freezes you"
Two seconds later: what does Hold Person do? 😂
1:49:49 - This group has really warmed up to the idea of skeletons murdering orphans over the last number of years.
I think we all have 😂
I've always loved Jane's little excited "Yeah" every time Johnny or Luke says "Roll for initiative"
I was not expecting this to have such a rich and compelling story. Luke has such a way with narrative. I was genuinely impressed
This and the kolbold oneshots are my fave D&D but series

Episodes as in more than one? Just asking because I only saw one other.

I love this concept and I hope there are more "Everyone Has Amnesia" episodes in the future!

You can actually buy it as stickers! So make a usual character sheet, then cover the stats.

great story, very much enjoyed the whole thing
"Am I married to you?? Am I married to *you??* Okay, I think I'm not married to either of you, but then who am I married to??"
Skinner: I would like you to die.
Andy: I CAST FEIGN DEATH!
Ooh, I like that, I like that a lot.
~Skinner
That's brilliant.
On my second watching; I love how much of this one-shot is just 3 adults beefing with a child 😂
Well done, all! This is such a fun format for one shots. Thanks again for all the laughs!
I love how this basically D&D, but the Hangover.
The "no more Oxventure this year" quip doesn't land quite so hard in late November. 🙂
These amnesia one shots have been so fun. Fingers crossed we get another one at some point!
I give it about three more seasons until the main Oxventure series is amnesia
Can’t wait for the Oxventure Amnesia-verse
they upgraded to scratching the sheets with a coin. the budget request must have gone through
If I recall correctly, I had a wonderful time! Thanks so much for everyone’s hard work!
"Big jerk? That's not what you were saying to me the other night 😘." Is the start of one of my favourite moments 😂 2:22:28
"Iunno, he's an attractive guy!"
"No he isn't"
"Oh no"
Bonesly is the true MVP of this episode!
"I have a type- it's hideous men" sounds like all my ex's talking about me.
I love this Amnesia saga! So much work, thanks Luke!

The Duke was overthrown.
Oh yeah, he mentions in this episode the duke being overthrown, didn't clock it was the one from last time !
Just what I need after a severe anxiety attack today. Thanks for your videos. They are a bright light in a dark place.
*internet hug for feel better*
So ironic that Mr. Brown had Stinking Cloud 😅
Such a brilliant idea and another superb #DnDBut Everyone has Amnesia with wonderfully chaotic twists, turns & reveals 🎲📜❓🙂👍👏👏👏
The best of the amnesia D&D yet! Can’t wait for the next one! All the kudos!
Amazing stuff, guys! As many have said, I would love more of these amnesia episodes, Luke is a fantastic DM, and the crew, as always, were on excellent form. Cheers!!
On a rewatch I learned that the Duke was overthrown.
Great stuff- now i'm going to forget it all so i can watch again

Dude please make MANY more of this and the kobold ones. They are so entertaining.
This is definitely my favorite one-shot you've produced to date.
Great stuff, very interesting how they came to know eachother and Bron learning so much from the experience of not knowing. x:x
1:10:51 had me crying. The battle of wits between Andy and Luke, brilliant.
Man they better be going after that Duke.
The original group have their memories back but I'd love it if it's the same world
@@zceepy It is, because the assasin that fell for suggestion mentioned being trained by an duke who has been overthrown.
@@akialastorlawliet yep! I caught that. I choose to believe that Red, Tiddles and Manbird Birdman overthrew the Duke.

What an incredible announcement - I loved the original amnesia so much
I count that as new canon that roasting arakokra smell delicious 😂
As a Canadian with a Canadian accent and not an English one, it took me longer than it should have to realize that the captions were wrong at 28:26 and that what Luke actually said was PAWN shop.
As a Yank, I had a similar experience. Why would they sell a ring at a porn shop?
What do they call pawn shops in Canada? Is it the older term "pawnbroker", or something completely different?
I'm British and that was my first though too, but I realised pretty quickly what he actually said with the context of the ring.
@@gwishart We call it a pawn shop, the point is that the English accent makes it sound like a shop of... a different kind, involving images of unclothed bodies... :P

Andy: "I'll be playing a guy wth amnesia"
Me: "Funny, no one said anything about 'guy'."
Turns out, Flavortown is just down the road from Tanners' Folly.
I said the same thing had a small prayer that Luke woulda said the same thing!

Great content, production and subtle marketing. Thank you all very much!
Full blown episode of "Dude, Where's My D&D!"
This is the fourth time I've heard mention of Rat Kings during a D&D game, And three of them were within the last week! 🤣
This is such an amazing concept Luke
Complete joy to watch. The spell reveals were brilliant. :)
this was such a fun oneshot, so well done :D!!!
Nothing in this genius episode cracked me up more than Mike's "What is a man" 😂
I love these Luke-DMs-total-chaos sessions.
I'm ready for some memory loss! ...wait, hold on
Yes! This was so fun the first round, glad to see another🙌
This is one of my favorite episodes I have watched!
This is so original and fun. More please
somehow not the first, but the *second* "what you *think* is the recovery position" directed at jane
Great session Luke, such fun to see this again!
"It has to go in you a little bit"....... Phrasing😂
28:35 ohhhh a *pawn* shop, you had me worried for a moment
1:15:26 I can't help but imagine the gmod flatline sound effect when this happens
Andy pulled a Dishonored trick on that battlemage :D
It's been a few days but I'm FINALLY able to watch this in peace at 11pm on Monday. Who needs to get up early anyway? :P
Hope you next time bring in Johnny too, as a player.
Can't, frickin, wait for this to return, so, so good.
Mike instantly forgetting he could roll to restore hit points
very enjoyable game. Of course you sell the scratch off play sheets at your merch store.
thay should do it using there normal charicters. It will be fun to see how long dose it take them to realise that

I like to imagine that Luke gives each of these characters Moonbeam, because _everyone_ can cast Moonbeam (including Kasimir Jones).
Kasimer actually took a moonbeam to the knee.
And Corazon de Ballena. And a big turtle claiming to be Corazon de Ballena
2:22:43
Mike: (abt the possibility of ugly Bad Guy be his partner) ''I'm into some weird stuff'' 🤣🤣
So funny, I was laughing the whole time... on headphones in front of my family😅
I like these adventures. They really open up for a whole new avenue of creative storytelling. The players HAVE to improvise. :)
I see everyone remembered their scratching implements this time
Mr Brown was SO CLOSE to naming himself with his own actual name
Andy that magic missile bit was brilliant!

awesome one, great reveals and funny moments. time to subscribe on patreon.
This was fun to watch. I honestly expected Mike's character to be a paladin but in hindsight I didn't see any paladin ablities so that makes sense.
This looked like so much fun I am absolutely gunna try this with my friends. I doubt it'll go as well tho. 😂
I do still wear a cape sometimes, and this was a very entertaining one shot.
My fiancé and I are watching this after seeing you at the Birmingham Comic Con Meet and Greet!
