She wrote My Heart Beats For Love in 2010 for her gay friend and the song has very inspiring lyrics for the gay community, and last year she launched her Happy Hippies Foundation to help homeless LGBT youth. Apart from all of that, she's always been supportive and loving to her gay fans, and NONE of it for publicity. She's an angel.
