There's something almost meant to be in Shangela not needing the crown to become as phenomenally successful as she is. She is truly the hardest-working and most in demand drag queen some may disagree but I'm going to say in the world today. The size of these venues that she fills are unbelievable. I believe her last tour was 180 countries. A drag race crown doesn't even hold a candle to all of our other achievements. At the same time I think it's necessary to respect how very important it was to her.
