I have been using my iPhone 11 pro for less than a year and already the battery needs service. Been using it pretty extensively watching many videos in 2x Speed but still very disappointed in the longevity of the battery. Now the battery goes very quickly down to 1% and it can last hours at 1%. Tried calibrating it but replacement seems like the only way to keep using it...... At this point I'm considering switching back to my OnePlus 5T and give apple the middle finger tbh.
Lol i just had exactly same issue. My phone is 9months old and for six months battery stayed 100 percent health, then down to 99 once and then in three months its down to 84 and i experienced same. Battery drains to 1 percent on screen but lasted hours, though i think my phone felt laggy after few hours of use without charging. I gave it to service last week and will take it back tomorrow. I think its bad for the phone its already opened for a 9month old phone. We will see
Same! The battery started giving me problems within months!
I have a european model and experimenting the same. Actually. I already had it replaced by Apple under warranty and then it lasted 10 months. now it doesn't even want to power on. Might aswell change it myself at this point.

Thanks for the instructions, I have to say though this is the second time I have replaced a battery on iPhones and not once have I even come close to the skill you guys have removing the adhesive for the battery. Mine just snaps and I'm left digging and using head pads

It's not at all as easy as this video looks. At first, I thought getting the screen off was going to be the worst of it (use a razor blade before using the mediator). But, the those little bitty screws was a biotch! I, finally, got them out and then, realized I had broken one of the flex screen connectors. D'oh! Beware removing the screen and don't pry too deeply on the right side (with the charging port is at the bottom). I'm going out and getting a new phone tomorrow. 😥
flex connectors are repairable. also could've just buy new screen instead of new phone 🤔

You should have added that Iphone X, XR, XS, XSMAX, 11, 11 pro, 11 pro max will not show battery health there is a lengthy process which you will have to go through to be able to see the battery health and it involves having to use a battery programmer a tag on flex and a mini spot welding machine you will also need a battery cell kit for whatever device you are replacing the battery of you will also need some basic knowledge in battery repair and balls of steel to remove the tiny BMS board from the original battery cell or failing that you can also buy a External Tag On Flex XCAP which needs no programming and can be reused but you will still need to use a mini spot welder and have those earlier mentioned balls of steel to remove the tiny BMS board from the original battery cell and replace it on to the new one I very nearly just bought a new battery and swapped it over but I'm glad I done a little more research now and I can replace my battery correctly and luckily I know what I'm doing but if you don't I would suggest taking your device to a repair outlet and get them to fix it and get some sort of guarantee for whatever work has been done its better to be safe than sorry.

If you’re careful and work all the way around the screen before lifting it off, very little chance of cracking it. It’s a bit surprising how easily screens remove in one piece once the screws are removed

Lonely Kid not the internals. Externals are same. They changed the logic board which is inside the device not outside.
