      hola hola! desafortunadamente, no tengo un video así, y no puedo hacer uno este año. Me quedaré en casa con mis chiquis porque voy a dar la luz este noviembre 🥰🎉

    Do you ask in Spanish? Do they answer everything in Spanish? Warm up should be 10 minutes, right?

    • @SrtaSpanish
      @SrtaSpanish  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes! Ask and answer in Spanish, using all of the scaffolds they need. Sometimes I help them by filling in a word, depending on what's happening and what they are trying to say. 10 minutes is an approximation, sometimes it's longer if they have something they want to share, and sometimes I speed through it if I know the lesson I have planned that day will go a bit longer!

    How much of that is in Spanish?

    • @SrtaSpanish
      @SrtaSpanish  Год назад

      almost all! It's fair to say about 90%. There is that scaffolding on the screen like you can see in the video and otherwise the parts that "pop" into the shared language are more like calendar talk moments if a student wants to share about their plans and doesn't have the vocab to share about it, I'll support them with that so we can make that connection and have that sharing. The scaffolding gradually shifts throughout the year as they grow, too.

    Do you do this everyday? Do you find your students get bored with the redundant?

    • @SrtaSpanish
      @SrtaSpanish  28 дней назад

      I haven't found that! This is not a LONG drawn out process - it's just quick every day. We'll lean into those calendar talk moments if something special is happening, but really it's just a speedy chat. If it were longer, I could definitely see them getting bored, but it's just a quick check in!
