ZEpicPlays What I would guess would happen would be that when he showed the rankings the first 20 picks would be worst to best from there and the last 12 would be based on the playoffs (which you can't tie)
Bradley Thomas no,a tie is a tie. Even in the NFL. You never see the third tie column because they are rare. A tie can help or hurt you, if a team has the amount of wins as you, because you have a tie and therefore you're ahead of them cause you have less loses. It can hurt you, if you have I less win but more loses then there hurts you, and essentially knock you out of a playoff spot.
Not to hate, clearly a lot of time put into this.. but you should saved before you advanced into the playoffs. So then you could of advanced into the playoffs again and see if it all happened that same way, so you could see if it was random
Wow man, if this really happened, we may as well move football day from Sunday to Tuesday, because they'd put the tie in Bow Tie Tuesdays, man. Wow! Now that would blow my mind.
I don't usually press the like button on vids but after all the effort you put in for this video I defiantly had to go out of my way to give you a like man good work and good video
maybe it goes off of which cities are the most north for who wins each division. Like how the north division wins the conference. btw massive respect for taking the time to do this
"Old rivalry. Winless Oakland." I like how the spin is that the Broncos are undefeated while Oakland is winless when in fact both teams are simultaneously undefeated and winless.
So...I just watched a 10min video that comes down to something from Kindergarten... lol well done video, sir, seriously. I really did find this interesting and I'm glad someone finally answered a long asked question by the Madden community (albeit not many of them haha).
Wow it took him 50 hours that's a lot of work I had to watch it just because I know he put a lot into it. it's ridiculous of course but it is off season
An interesting note to put in here is that I once played a franchise league, and in my first year, I was one of two 9-7 NFC teams, along with the Lions. Since I beat the Lions head to head, I should have got the number 6 seed in the playoffs. However, I actually missed the playoffs, and the 6 seed was given to the Lions.
I had something similar happen with the Chiefs being in a 3 way tie with Denver and Cincinnati at 10-6. Beat Denver twice and Cincy but they both got the 5 and 6 seeds
It does make sense that the computer thinks that way. "These are the best teams, and these teams tied them, so they are wild card." You just have to think about the computer logic. Its been given this information, and this is what it came up with.
I have actually worked the math on some of these scenario's. Until I got bored with it, the most glaring of the possibilities (to me) is the fact that no 12-4 team has ever missed the Play-offs, although the chances are fair of it happening.
You've been wondering about it for years & never did it now someone else does it & you all you have to say is good video btw???? Foh you better praise this man for this. Not that you were so urgent to find out but still you should seem more satisfied in your comment. Smfh ridiculous.
I'm sure it's not random, there's a tiebreaker somehow. My guess would be Points Scored as a team, or it could be total yards, or maybe even strength of schedule.
I was gonna say, it's not possible for it to be chosen randomly. If someone a decision is reached in the game, then there is a process used to determine it, if there wasn't the computer would not be able to progress or an error would end up accruing somewhere.
I dunno if anyone else noticed it, but the playoff teams all came from the North divisions in the AFC and NFC. It probably just takes it from those 2 divisions every time
I think Strength of Schedule is tied into the final playoff positions. Its difficult to put into text, but there is a list of different things that determine where a team would be positioned at the end of the season.
Without reading the comments to see what others said, wouldn't it merely just come down to strength of schedule which is the 6th tie breaking procedure according to the NFL. That would make the most sense because even in tie games one team had the overall hardest schedule and would therefore be the #1 seed.
Nelson Abrams but strength of schedule is determined by how the other teams finished. And since everyone went 0-0-16, every team has the same strength of schedule.
You'd have to repeat the experiment to make sure it wasn't a coin toss. Also, note the standings after every week. If a team goes up in the standings, you could isolate what caused it
I just wanted to point out, you played yourself. There’s an option when you go look at the league schedule and you can select Home win, Away win, or Tie.
00:24 "Will the Redskins continue their win streak with their rival Giants on the schedule" 00:38 "Undefeated Giants are taking on their rival, the Redskins, who are looking for their first win of the season." Nice takes by the Media. :D
I once simmed 50 years of franchise in I believe Madden 07 for the achievement and I remember after each regular season the simulation would stop and then once you finished the Super Bowl I believe you had to go through the off season and sim that and then the preseason before you could sim all 17 regular season games in a row. So you pretty much had to stay at the tv and keep checking to see if it needed you to manually tell it to start simming again and back then simulating a week took forever.
Ever team has exactly the same record, right down to the score line, and the Browns still somehow come last.
Illuminati confirmed
Best comment
Daniel Kelleher It goes by strength of schedule. Although it is rather curious since the Browns play in the AFC North
Probably because they started the season at the bottom.
best comment about the best comment
Even when it's entirely luck the Browns are still 32.
Robert MacIntosh and I'm a browns fan. this sucks
Larami Eshnaur RIP
Robert MacIntosh even artificial intelligence has taste
I think they do it by overall
Flashback - Gaming Content and More! No, my Ravens have no defensive line and the rest of the defense is mediocre.
"Undefeated Giants are taking on their rival, the Redskins, who are looking for their first win of the season" lmaooo they have the same record
Saints WhoDat k
Saints WhoDat I saw that 😂
Saints WhoDat giants technically are undefeated though
Saints WhoDat and technically the redskins are looking for their first win
Hurry the feet Who Dat
Browns still managed to be the 32nd ranked team lolol
NHaley8 this comment aged very well
wow
Jesus Christ you deserve an MVP award just for setting this up
He could've just forced win
Or force a no win
EdgeofDeception he could've set up all the games to tie in the menu
Averagekentuckyfan no bc not a single team scored a point
Do Dank Memes force a no win just makes it a regular sim he has to play every game
even when the browns don't lose, they still can't win :(
If only you knew what would take part in week 1 of the 2018 season
😂
Superbowl is cancelled, next season every team moves to Los Angeles
The Los Angeles Patriots heading up against the Los Angeles Browns, what a rivalry!
how about the Los Angeles Panthers, where they staying, in Compton?
StaticV lol
LA Rams versus LA Chargers... Wait a moment
StaticV LA has as many teams as Texas. Something is very wrong here...
What's the draft like?
ZEpicPlays What I would guess would happen would be that when he showed the rankings the first 20 picks would be worst to best from there and the last 12 would be based on the playoffs (which you can't tie)
In North American sports, a team's record is given as W-L-T, not W-D-L as is common elsewhere.
I would guess that except for the playoff teams it would be the exact same just in opposite order
We know the Browns would pick first...
this derserves 16,000,000 views for the effort and time put in it.
PresT why so exact?
the 9th on on the moon i have no idea just a random number😂😂
PresT sad thing is I think you can force tie in the schedule
How dude
PresT you could have just forced a tie for each team in the schedule
Not to hate, clearly a lot of time put into this.. but you should saved before you advanced into the playoffs. So then you could of advanced into the playoffs again and see if it all happened that same way, so you could see if it was random
Alex Williams Sux putting in 50hours and not being able to think about this
*could have
Everyone better F*cking drop likes on this. I've been waiting for a video like this forever and someone finally did it! Great job beard!👍🏻
Is this the Krusty Krab? ikr and no this is Patrick
Is this the Krusty Krab? No i dont give like like gum
Is this the Krusty Krab? me too
Is this the Krusty Krab? no this is patrick
Jaric Smith Nice thumbnail
I feel obligated to like this just because you spent so much freaking time on it
Buffalo BILLS exactly
Wow man, if this really happened, we may as well move football day from Sunday to Tuesday, because they'd put the tie in Bow Tie Tuesdays, man. Wow! Now that would blow my mind.
Jon Gruden Was that supposed to be funny?
Been Chill he's mocking jon gruden lmao
Jon Gruden he makes some of the best comments in MrHurriicane's videos. He used to, haven't seen many recently.
Jon Gruden t
+Been Chill It's funny if you read it in Jon Gruden's voice.
Clap it up for this guy. He gives more effort in his vids than me at school. Beardmobox, you've earned my eternal respect.
Can't you go through each teams' schedule and choose "Force Draw"?
Instegator points for and against would be weird though
forcing a tie wouldn't necessarily end in 0-0, so some teams would get higher points totals and thus go through
Instegator no I tried
Instegator nice profile pic
Instegator There is no force tie
I found this very enlightening
losangelescardinals oh
I usually never like videos, but the amount of work this video took to make just earned one
jesus christ you are a legend that many games for one video massive respect man
You my friend just earned a subscriber for all the effort u put in to this video
You deserve a medal. That's incredible, over 50 hours. Well done, and thank you.
We were just talking about this scenario and what would happen. I googled it and your video came up. Thank you for your sacrifice 👍🏾
I don't usually press the like button on vids but after all the effort you put in for this video I defiantly had to go out of my way to give you a like man good work and good video
I always wondered what would happen if every team tied every game. Now I know thank you for putting in the time and effort
I like the spin in one of the news bits. Oakland is described as being "winless" while the Broncos are "undefeated."
Seeing the news feed in the corner talking about "unblemished record" "looking for first win of the season" and they're all completely tied.
Thanks for the great effort put into the video. I subbed!
I've been waiting for this video to happen, and it finally did! well worth the effort.
I feel like if this were to actually happen, the NFL would just be like "we r sending the Patriots to the superbowl"
0:33 "I think a tie is great once in a while, there's a novelty and rarity to it"
LMAO
Actually, all the stuff in the lower left corner is priceless. One team is "undefeated" and their opponent is "looking for their first win", etc. :P
"rarity"
do these media people not notice that every team is 0-0-16 lol
3:51 The 49ers probably had a penalty that was half the distance to the goal, such as a delay of game within their own 10 yard line.
This is always something I thought would be interesting to find out. You definitely put a lot of time into this.
I subbed cause I see you put a lot of effort on these videos.
I've waited for this for a very long time!
I can't believe you actually took the time to set this up... well done! you earned a like for the time commitment alone!
maybe it goes off of which cities are the most north for who wins each division. Like how the north division wins the conference. btw massive respect for taking the time to do this
"Old rivalry. Winless Oakland." I like how the spin is that the Broncos are undefeated while Oakland is winless when in fact both teams are simultaneously undefeated and winless.
Been waiting since the Q&A for this video!
-Everyone literally has the same record
-Browns are still in last place
Wow what an interesting idea for a video haha. Very cool.
P.s. We want more fire sale. ;)
hooyah navy
Hey Look the Lions made it to the Super Bowl
So...I just watched a 10min video that comes down to something from Kindergarten... lol well done video, sir, seriously. I really did find this interesting and I'm glad someone finally answered a long asked question by the Madden community (albeit not many of them haha).
Didn't think it was broken until I saw "Todd Bowles: Coach of the Year"
I have been wondering this for so long, so thank you man.
Seriously this is amazing dude. Beard you need more subs. If youtube paid hourly you would be making so much haha
Gonna Sub just because of how much effort this had into it
what if every NFL team went 8-8?
lol i wanna know
Diamond Cavern 3-3 in division too beating and losing to each team once. same 3-0 score in every game so that every team has the same amount of points
8-8 is the same winning percentage as 0-0-16
PoPadopulas 89 no it's not guy.
PoPadopulas 89 wrong
I will sub to just because of this video keep up this work
Bro greatest Madden video ever. Thank you for your effort.
Probably a strength of schedule type of thing edit: finished the video I was not correct
This is so fucking stupid...
And I love it!
I liked for the effort. Good job bro, this is commitment
Holy fuck dude you should not have spent this much effort, MUCH APPRECIATION!
I think it adds up all the stats and then works out an average score for each team.
So much time and effort, deserves 16,000,000,000,000,0000 likes. When is Fire Sale Franchise?
Why 16? What is wrong with you all? Automatons.
Should have simulated to the draft
I think I tie is great once in a while, there's a novelty and rarity to it.
*B IT HAPPENED 256 TIMES*
I have made respect for your dedication
Welp atleast im in 2021 alone here
Not really
You deserve a like simply for putting in the time to do this. How long did it take?
How in the fuck? I can't believe the commitment made to doing something like this lmao
Wow it took him 50 hours that's a lot of work I had to watch it just because I know he put a lot into it. it's ridiculous of course but it is off season

Here before this video gets 1 million views
Chris Savage were here before 50k mate
You can dream haha
5 months later....
Beastmode Sports life and its only at 302k
Chris Savage same
What an awesome video. You are a hero for trying this.
"I have absolutely no idea...But I do" -Beardmohbox
I agree this needs way more likes
I have actually worked the math on some of these scenario's. Until I got bored with it, the most glaring of the possibilities (to me) is the fact that no 12-4 team has ever missed the Play-offs, although the chances are fair of it happening.
nice I have been wondering this for a few years but have always been to lazy to do it in madden. good video btw

You are wondering what happens because you don't know the NFL Rules, or you want to see if the game applies them?
I'm sure it's not random, there's a tiebreaker somehow. My guess would be Points Scored as a team, or it could be total yards, or maybe even strength of schedule.

You have the patience of a saint. I could never do this.
you are the man beardmohbox
I dunno if anyone else noticed it, but the playoff teams all came from the North divisions in the AFC and NFC. It probably just takes it from those 2 divisions every time
I think Strength of Schedule is tied into the final playoff positions. Its difficult to put into text, but there is a list of different things that determine where a team would be positioned at the end of the season.
Gave a like, wish you could refund those hours
Saw the title and lol'd - had to see this 😂
Without reading the comments to see what others said, wouldn't it merely just come down to strength of schedule which is the 6th tie breaking procedure according to the NFL. Correct. What a waste of time making this video was lol
Nelson Abrams but strength of schedule is determined by how the other teams finished. And since everyone went 0-0-16, every team has the same strength of schedule.
Strength of schedule is not based on the current year but collective of all teams play and previous years results. As the
wtf no it isn't. strength of schedule is the combined record of all the teams you played. they all have the same SOS in this scenario and it's .500
Wrong dumbass, it is based on the previous year
You'd have to repeat the experiment to make sure it wasn't a coin toss. Also, note the standings after every week. If a team goes up in the standings, you could isolate what caused it
I just wanted to point out, you played yourself. There’s an option when you go look at the league schedule and you can select Home win, Away win, or Tie.
Thanks for the work bud--- sports nerds like this kind of stuff,,
50 hours to do this???? Life called. It wants you back.
Without watching, I can tell you it's a coin flip. Or in video game terms - RNG.
"The lions are on top of the NFC" God I wish
You could've kneeled it instead of ran it everyone would have had the same yards
Exactly, you turn off the play clock and kneel the ball exactly 4 times (each team kneels twice).
Michael Abbott That would cause a tear in the space-time continuum.
Tastyquicksand what an exciting game
Very enlightening
Wow thanks I don't know why but I've been curious about things like this for a while
Just one question for all the games, did you do just all QB Kneels to make them 0-0 ties?
the fact that he took 50 hours to set this up just to find out it was all for nothing is hilarious to me
There is a game setup where you can choose the game score
That's is astronomically impossible but how about 16 ties for all teams in a season that could happen
I started doing this one time but quit after 8 games. Bravo to you sir
00:24 "Will the Redskins continue their win streak with their rival Giants on the schedule" 00:38 "Undefeated Giants are taking on their rival, the Redskins, who are looking for their first win of the season." Nice takes by the Media. :D
Weren’t the standings order the same teams the won their division from when this game was released?
Nice job setting this up!!!!
Should reload week 17 and try again and see if the same teams make the playoffs
You could've enlisted a bunch of us to help with this, Unless you wanted it to be an offline thing
TheBroadway27 I feel like someone would have waited till the very last game to intentionally win or lose it just to mess everything up
Yeah that's a legit concern, Long way to go just for a troll though lol
TheBroadway27 knowing the internet it wouldn't surprise me lol
YellowSnowman28 I wouldve definitely done it if I was 9
Yo Boy pizza did this about half a year ago
When you go to a teams schedule you can force a win, lose, or tie so you didnt have to do all that setup. Great video tho!
