E Everett Horton was an under-used comic genius in my opinion. His voice is the first thing we of the older generation recognize. He was the voice in so many Saturday morning cartoons. It is an amazing and quite unique voice, you have to admit.
I would love to go back in time to watch this movie in the 1940s ambience theater with a crystal clear print while eating excellent tasting popcorn and a pop!
@@JS-fe8sx Smoking was always prohibited in theaters in the past and now (besides health reasons) because of a fire hazard. Up to the last 30 years, theaters were historically flammable.
@@heru-deshet359 that’s true because the actual film reels were always extremely flammable . Even to this day according to Turner Classic movies they are still restoring master piece movies
These movies were made before my time, but I so enjoy them...esp now with the way the world is...Covid pandemic, rioting at our capital, our country divided. I want to live in Mayberry
Robert Voss I really believe if studios produced a series of movies, retro-style, using the same basic film techniques, wardrobes, cars, sets, etc. as well as subject matter, diLogue, that they’d have sellout films! People today are in some ways not so different in their lives, than during WW-II, or depression years. They’re seeking an escape from a world that’s become very ugly around them. There’s already a huge market for nostalgic films. We already know that. Thanks for making these great films available to enjoy again!
Thanks for another great movie Pizza Fix , I didnt recognize Freddie Barthlomew he has sure grown up in this movie. I remember seeing him as a child star. Thanks for another great movie. I love comedies, and you deliver the best of them.
What a great movie. Thank u so much for uploading. I’ve missed so many great movies in my life. Thank goodness for you and your good taste in movies. I can’t thank u enough for sharing these great movies.
Yes We need a streaming service that cares to show classics, vintage, and good documentaries. These actually have a Plot! More intelligent than movies today.
Maybe they did, and I missed it, but this plot could be used today with very little updating. Some of my favorite actors here: Edward Everett Horton, a truly wonder man, Jimmy Lydon....Henry, Henry Aldrich, and I am only at the 6 minute point. Never saw or heard of this movie, but another great find by PIZZAFLIX.
Classy movie with all the charm n the right places. I love these oldees the best, and make me feel everything's alright with the world. (or at least what was) Still, thank you for posting, just my style.
Love your m movie collection but please raise the volume of the movies to match the volume of the ads. Nothing like having ear buds in your ears with the volume all the way up to hear the movie and all of a sudden hearing the deafening volume of an ad.
pizzaflix thank you for all the wonderful movies.you are my favorite go to for classics.where do you find all these and can i get them on dvds...i am a collector of classic movies and cant find these
thanks so much..yeah i did it before for a info program i needed.I changed back to win8.1 and have to find a downloader. There was acode i put in search bar before but i lost the code...do you have something like that?
I forgot the title of movie where the guy tied a string between the 2 beds and placed bedsheet for privacy since he's in the room with a lady. and the lady he did not know is a heiress. will really appreciate to know the title coz I want to watch the movie again. thanks.
Fortunately this was very effective against the measles virus, even though measles is more contagious than C19. This was the main containment until the vaccine in 1963.
I've been watching many of the movies you have uploaded and I love them. I have a question though. When I was a little girl, I watch part of a movie but never saw the ending. It was about a fashion photographer who used pictures of different body parts of different girls to make up the perfect girl. Sort of like pictures of the Breck girl. When his editor wanted him to produce the model, he goes looking for the perfect girl and found one. She was a maid at a house he was a guest at. Does that sound familiar? I would love to see how it ended. I don't know the name of the movie or who starred in it. I have looked all over the internet with no luck.
I just found the movie you were talking about. It's called "The girl from Jones Beach" with Ronald Reagan and Virginia Mayo. I haven't checked to see if it's on youtube. Hope this helps you out.
Christine Gruenberg The girl in the movie I remember was a maid not a school teacher. Thanks for the name of the Virginia Mayo movie. I really liked that one too. I guess I'll have to keep looking.
I like all the movies with Freddie Bartholomew

He made close to 120 films and was active on television. It seemed he worked quite a bit.
OK, I can admit that without remorse.
His and the voice of Hans Conreid.
@@vin.handle over 180 appearances. Under used? Hardly
All the young men in these movies were in so many I see them time and time again
This is a brilliantly written, acted and directed classic comedy.
Edward Eeverett Horton lived in our neighborhood as kids on Laurel Canyon when there was a second parallel street.
I enjoyed the comments from beginning to end.
I would love to go back in time to watch this movie in the 1940s ambience theater with a crystal clear print while eating excellent tasting popcorn and a pop!
Remember though, you would be surrounded by people smoking.
@@JS-fe8sx Smoking was always prohibited in theaters in the past and now (besides health reasons) because of a fire hazard. Up to the last 30 years, theaters were historically flammable.
Smoking wasn't even prohibited in hospitals till the 80's. I can well remember people smoking in theatres in the 60's.
Yes me too. Can forget I am watching a movie 🍿 I become so involved ! I love it!

Thank you so much for posting all these wonderful old movies. They are so much fun to watch! 😊
With everyone confined to home, these are a great past-time. Thanks for your movie list.
This one is very funny, nice clean fun.
No one can mistake Freddie Bartholomew's face at any age.
I need movies like this to cheer me up in these scary times. Thankyou!
This movie was made in the last year of WWII. The scary time for all. But, I understand what you mean ✌️
"I didn't wear perfume at his age!" "That doesn't mean you didn't need it, dear." Beautiful!

Why isn't this film recognized as one of the great comedy classics of the 1940's?
It was good, But not on my top 20 list. :)
You don’t need color tv to enjoy the colorful comedy 🎭
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 this is funny I am enjoying this movie 👍
The greatest twist on Romeo and Juliet ever@
five Stars!Thank You! :-) :-)
Little Fredie remember seeing him in a very sad movie he was very little boy. Old movies bring back good oh days when life was good.

I behave just like that guy when I have shots! Ha!
It's a wiser child that knows his own nose.
Was Eddy in Fractured Fairy Tales??? What a GREAT voice.
Hilarious if somewhat predictable farce! The cast hoists it!
Good movie
Loved it!

I wonder if the judge was Judge Judy's Grandma? LOL!
Thank you very much.
Loved it x
Hilarious!
Uh....in Arkansas...Way of Life. My wife/sister/ girlfriend who are all the same person... agree.
I've spotted 3 characters that would later be on the Andy Griffith Show: Judd, Mayor Pike (Dick Elliot), and old Ben Weaver.
Fun - thank you.
it was so sad when the boys were leaving to go next door
Being a musician I recognized Mozart and Beethoven riffs stolen and used in the opening theme, along with The Wedding March or something.
Yeah, and the opening ended ended with a few bars from "Rock-a-bye Baby, on the Tree Top"
Yes, I noticed, also..the score was sure a lot of fun!
I laughed and laughed. Thanks PizzaFlix for a fun show.
Linda Rocco ❤️

This is sooo 😄
So early in films - ideas far outweighed rational thought. Awesome.
"I love you, poo". Ha Ha. Loved this movie.
Recognise voice of Edward Horyon from Fractured Fairy Tales on Bullwinkle and friends.
Everett Edward Horton..I used to see him at our local market when I was quite young..a nice guy, with a great voice.
a GEM! Thanks!

Measles quarantine lol

Highly contagious!
Why didn't they think of a blood test? They had to wait 3 days for a blood test before getting married?
Love your movie list!
Can you also get: "I Remember Mama" ?
I Remember Mama was such a great movie. Another good one about family from the mid forties is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
Oh, I Remember Mama is a Gem 💎 🤗💝
Time ends every day at 23.59.......the RAF said so!
Funny, kids wearing suits and ties going out.... lol
good spoof on men's organizations. Moose, Elk, Shrinners
Borders on the edge of absurd silliness at times, though it is worth watching.
Hilarious.

I will try and keep searching too. You've got my curiosity up now.
here's a link to the trailer for THE GIRL FROM JONES BEACH: ruclips.net/video/vt0ieRnAyLU/видео.html
the imdb website used to have "plots" in their search engine. It helped me find MAID'S NIGHT OUT. Not sure if they still do that.
Thank God 4DNA! lol
That would be weird if you got married and found out later you married your sister
