The two middle/longer units for the star wars island have a plastic cable cover/track piece in the middle of them (can see them around 5:30) wonder if that is causing it to lift the middle top pieces, usually those cable covers can be popped out.
Short Billy, underneath thermostat, woukd be great place for all those microfighters. Love how the showroom is turning out. Perhaps use a black tablecloth underneath the UCS sets...ships against the black drop of space.
Those larger Besta units have a piece added in the cutout (back-middle of the top) for running cables through... that piece may be causing the melamine to not sit flush. Loving the new setup and can't wait to see how the Lego city shapes up in the future!
16:23 you could put two bookshelves facing inward and a shelf to bridge across the door frame. It would feel like you’re going through a small passage of Lego on both sides which would be cool!
Studio looking good on the city in the subway you could do a tmnt layer and a batcave and when the x mantion comes out you could asl make a danger room .... just a suggestion you don't have to if you don't want to it is your legos after all
For the melamine on the UCS table. Figure out the right screw length to go through both from the bottom. You can get a countersink drill bit to make them flush underneath. Should make the top nice and smooth then, and you don't have to move anything
On the star wars aircraft display you could put run way plate and take your mini figs and have the walking toward their aircraft and make some stairs up to each aircraft. Just make it look like their all loading up to go on a mission, would look pretty cool id say.
Displays are looking awesome and hopefully we get some more LOTR ones soon to join the others. For the spider issue. They tend to come out of the vents and doors when theyre open. So, if you concentrate the traps by those that should take care of it.
Looking great! Just a tip to level out that island top screw the top panels on by going up through the cabinets. Just measure the length and do hidden screws! Love the channel
Looking good. The best part about all the new space is having options and being able to move things around easily to get the look you are going after! Be safe and well!
It would make it more realistic if you put your modeler builds that are on your shelfs on base plates, and then you can have your little people waking around!! Just an idea 💡. But it does look good this way too.
For the central display table, screw some thin metal straps across joints on the back to hold them flush with each other -or- double your scraps, with staggered seams, and screw together from the back side then edge both layers
You could screw two boards on the underside of the melamin-tops inside the dead space. To keep them more level to each other and also just connected so they always Butt up against each other.
Everything is coming together sooooo awesomely. I would love to see the cat move around everywhere, never knowing where it will show up next in your videos. Always up to mischief. Can't wait to get my hands on this set. Great Work!!!
The t-Molding would eliminate the need to paint the edges, and because you can cut/bend them easily, you can easily re-edge the city whenever you change the configuration. (i.e. adding the side tables as needed) you can even edge the access holes with it. the only part that would be a little annoying would be the initial slot cutting, but if you did that as you build the sheets for the table, you would have the hard part done
Great progress! Looks amazing! Could do white trim nailed around the center stars wars display instead of banding… will help hold everything together and get rid of the warping boards
what you could do with the topper is make a joining strip out of the scraps that sits in the hole which should with a bit luck pull everything tight and maybe put a piece in the corners to stop any side/side movement
You can buy pvc sheet material which is 1/2” or 3/4” thick by 1” wide and you can pin nail it to the tops and use it as a sort of cover. That would finish the melamine and is white which doesn’t need painting
Ive found placing a piece of paper towel with oil (baby/vegetable/olive or even furniture) on the stickers helps to remove them (test in an inconspicuous spot first before going crazy removing them all just incase it leaves any marks)
It's so amazing to think that all of those lego sets used to be in your basement. You had so many in such a small space. The new studio is already paying dividends.
Bricksie, buy a kreg pocket jig(don’t need a fancy one), and screw your display top together that way. It’ll hide the screws and should align the bowed piece.
The higher part is because there is in the back of the cabinet a plastic thing (for running wires) that increases the height a little in the middle of the cabinets (the long ones in the middle of the room). That would be my guess.
15:30 An Idea, could you find a way to rig some strong Fishing line to the internal structure, so you could hang them from the ceiling. It would be cool to see them in flight.
Why don’t you get a big sheet of vinyl Matte or gloss and roll it over that Star Wars table? It’ll cover up those gaps between the sheets of wood and protect them from marks. Good quality vinyl is great I’ve been covering loads of old scuffed stuff lately and makes them look brand new.
Long time watcher first time commenter from a lady who loves lago from the UK. HI Bricksi absolutely riveted to this new journey of yours. I feel you have the dream job, well done you!! 👍Anyway could I throw a suggestion for your consideration. Not loving the deathstar playset on the bottom shelf would it fit on your newly constructed islands as you walk in, It would be cool to see? Just a thought. Please keep your updates coming they cheer me up before I go to work :)
I can’t believe you’re already making plans for if you run out of space! Lol! I need to start making shorts so I can get followers and become a LAN member 😩
Did you think of securing the 4 sections, using screws just long enough to attach from the underside of the display? This would hide the screws from being visible on the top.
I’d move the Helicarrier over by the rest of the marvel stuff and then consolidate all of your Lego Harry Potter sets and the Lord of the Ring sets into the Pax units in the smaller room.
Looking good bricksie, was thinking the middle display at the end opposite the front door, wondered if both deathstars would fit in those 2 end squares and how'd they look there
Do you know of any local commercial cabinet shops? The one I work at we use melamine for interior unfinished commercial cabinet parts. We have a machine just for banding edges. It hot glues the banding along the edge, trims the ends and cleans up the edges. We use thin .5mm and 3mm banding. I would bet they use 3mm in white and could run your panels real quick and the stuff we be on there for a really long time. The 3mm could get radiused edges top and bottom and make the edges of the board really durable. I would reach to them if you can.

It is, that piece needs to be taken out.
at 6:00 it looks like there is something on top of the unit that would cause the new table top to not sit flat with the end pieces
Yes that's why its not even
But why is it on one side?
@@r.s.4553 I'm assuming the lego on one side is heavier and/or the floor is most unlevel on the side with the gap

Have you considered putting the Lego cat on the floor in a corner like a real cat?! Might be fun to move it around occasionally.
That's such a great idea, that cat should be in random places in every video, lol
@@2bitcollector707 And call it Spot - Spot the Cat :)
My real cat would definitely be on the shelf
or on a chair, or on a corner of a cabinet where a real cat would perch itself, or on top of the keyboard...
Or on a Lego cat tree

Agree, with Helms Deep comment. I had to do a bit of rearranging and adding MOC pieces to give it a nice finished look for my shelf presentation
I now picture you changing shoes and singing like Mr. Rogers when you walk into the studio.
Need some coat hooks by the door now.

Looks good! Can't wait for those lego city tables to be done!
Woo-hoo! Looks great man! You're getting closer day by day to finishing this project!

The studio looks good. I would make a new set display area. Just a holding place for new sets until they have a better place.
Great progress! Looks amazing!

Really good to see how people manage the display as the products keep getting coming in every year.

You could run 2 timbers boards under middle of centre display to attach the 4 boards together.
Metric is always soo easier

@bricksie Thank you for showcasing the Helm's Deep minifigs!!!
Just had an idea. The Eiffel Tower doesn’t quite fit on the small table you’ve put it on. I know someone with a ton of scrap melamine though. ;)
I think once you have edged the new top panels a few screws down into top of cabinets would hold it together and stop all the unevenness
It's so amazing to think that all of those lego sets used to be in your basement. You had so many in such a small space. The new studio is already paying dividends.
Screw from underside will pull top down bro
Love the new display but where's helms deep I know you've got that set as well. Keep up the great content your producing bricksie. Be well my friend.
Bricksie, buy a kreg pocket jig(don’t need a fancy one), and screw your display top together that way. It’ll hide the screws and should align the bowed piece.
Love what you did with the LOTR sets, and Tuxedo Cat is perfect on a high shelf, surveying his domain.
You could use that dead space under the star wars table for some type of storage. Maybe opened empty boxes of legos if you keep them.
I so would have done the same thing with the Falcon!!! Everything looks fantastic !!
You should put another short shelf on the wall near the door to fill up the empty space
Yes! I love where you put the lotr sets!
Looking good, Bricksie. FYI- thing on cabinet top making those 2 sheets not level 6:00
Yay I’m so glad you used the scraps …. Don’t spend money if you don’t have to hey. So exciting seeing the progress .tfs
Wicked brick have clear displays for brickheadz made to fit billy bookcases.
The higher part is because there is in the back of the cabinet a plastic thing (for running wires) that increases the height a little in the middle of the cabinets (the long ones in the middle of the room). That would be my guess.
Those LOTR sets display really nicely the way you did it! You call the big bay the "dia-room-a".
15:30 An Idea, could you find a way to rig some strong Fishing line to the internal structure, so you could hang them from the ceiling. It would be cool to see them in flight.
You should move your Star Wars helmets into the centre console. Clear off the top of the shelving for right now to keep the look even cleaner.
You have to swoosh it 😂
LETS GO STARS!!
It would be great to see Diorama/mocs of all the LoTR/Hobbit sets alongside Barad-Dur, Riverdale, and Orthanc
Lego factory looks amazing!!!!!
Could be both. Just an example, iron on for the star wars table, rounded edges for the lego city
Star Wars room is looking pretty epic
Why don’t you get a big sheet of vinyl Matte or gloss and roll it over that Star Wars table? It’ll cover up those gaps between the sheets of wood and protect them from marks. Good quality vinyl is great I’ve been covering loads of old scuffed stuff lately and makes them look brand new.

Instead of a regular diorama, u should make a HUGE STAR WARS MOC
Wow that's cool
Put the towers eother side of the door where Effiel Tower is. The city needs a space port for the Falcon
I love the content 🔥 keep up bricksie
Level the melamine by putting in screws from the tops of the shelving units into the melamine. You won’t see the screws and it’ll level them all out.
I can’t believe you’re already making plans for if you run out of space! Lol! I need to start making shorts so I can get followers and become a LAN member 😩
Cant wait for a full walk-through when completed
Try flipping the upturning sheets over, might work better
To screw them together screw the sheets up from the bottom through the top of the cabinet
Did you think of securing the 4 sections, using screws just long enough to attach from the underside of the display? This would hide the screws from being visible on the top.

The Lego studio displays are looking 🔥🔥🔥 👍
‘Got to catch the little buggers’ 😂🕷️
Love it ❤
Great looking displays Bricksie!
Daily streak: 27
New display lookin' good :D
Looking good bricksie, was thinking the middle display at the end opposite the front door, wondered if both deathstars would fit in those 2 end squares and how'd they look there
i rekcon you should have muiltple levels to that display in the middle of the room. could have some of the UCS sets overlap as they are massive
Good day Jordan. It's starting to fill out great the desplay set arear ..
Cat on the steps
You got me into building Ikea furniture, i built my first dresser yesterday for my room 😂
yeah that swoosh is mandatory
Where is your Unexpected Gathering 79003
The Tuxedo Cat should just be moved to different spots every now and then.
The Star Wars room is no longer the Star Wars room! 😅 running out of space already! 😮
I really hope the LOTR sets make it to the Lego City 🎉😊

Mrs Bricksie looking GOOD!!!
It still baffles me that not everyone use Cm to measure the length of wood. it's so much easier.
Take the cat home put it on a corner and see your regular cats reactions LOL
Bricksie, i stayed for your whole live on what not the other day and picked up a few mini figs. love your videos!
Wow! You are a pro, waiting to see your final work, I am a big Lego fan myself. You can do it, keep on going my friend.
You electrified the Museum. Please do the same to Barad-dur. Make the "Eye" glow and maybe the Lava.
14:21 SMASH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What shelves do you use for rivendell?😀
The Eiffel Tower needs to get back into the city, it would look great as a centre piece in the middle of a big park.
agree would look great
Think it would be too big though
I think the Titanic ship should be in the harbor in the city.
There is a bit of plastic wrapped round the wood in the inside (back) of the shelf’s making it not level!
I think the Kitty needs to get moved regularly like a real cat
hey :) what kind of bricks/parts do you present your minifigs on in front of sets when on display?
2:10 you and me both 🫤
Two dark towers and riverdell looks
bro is doing anything but the lego city
Join the units so they make a more square shape
Barad Dur would be cooler if it was full minifig scale.
