You asked the guest what would stop people buying fast fashion. Sometimes I think the only thing that would stop people consuming fast fashion and fast everything would be if every neighbourhood had its own landfill, everyone lives with their own waste on their doorstep. Not reality I know, but essentially for many people if it’s not in their face they just don’t care 🤷‍♀️

And of course many people in other countries literally do live with our waste on their doorsteps, awful.

I agree with Kristi's assessment that we all need to educate others about slow fashion. Her comments centered on adults, which is definitely needed. But I think it would also help to start educating our youth. I envision after school clubs highlighting age appropriate lessons in personal style, capsule wardrobes and brainstorming ways to consume less such as shopping second hand or lending/trading garments. Perhaps they will become our future slow fashion influencers!

So glad to see that encircled is size-inclusive! So many sustainable brands aren’t and I feel like that is a huge omission from a lot of the discussion around ethical fashion.

It's only size-inclusive if you're tall, though. They unfortunately don't have sizes for petite/short women. :(

Wow love this, the brand is fantastic, will check out when I need to replace items. Love it concept of swapping round an item and wearing different ways we need more of this.
We need to be more mindful ref the coffee cup, I've expernced similar criticism were not all prefect and the 100+ cups you have reduced by just get forgotten in one moment and that's not on.
I would love to know how we can influence others to 'ditch' fast fashion. It's a really tough topic. I have as many conversations about this as I can and I hope it helps to inspire others.
    Thanks for another fab podcast.

Ah the dry clean only labels. I just don’t buy items that say Dry clean only. 😂
