    My H10 Sparco is being delivered tomorrow. Im doing the exact same setup as you are. The Fusion Pro, Reefs 500 and linked to my Radiomaster MT12. Same as I've done with all of my other crawlers. Only wished it had portals like my Stance or Phoenix. If it has portals, then Im buying it. So excited to get my hands on it. Looks pretty simple to work on. Appreciate what you are doing.

    I have a Phoenix and need parts from the H10 I ordered. New radio and receiver, new tires, want the VFD in my Phoenix too. Thats about 350 Euros if I'd buy the parts alone here. I basically get my new parts and my son has a new buggy to drive for 100 Euros.
    Sweet channel you got, love listening to RC tech talk. Subscribed, cheers from Munich.

    Great upgrades John! I am still considering some of the same mods as you have done. Not sure on the shocks yet, but certainly the 2 in 1 and the VFD mods and 2.2 wheel swaps. Looks good with the Toyota livery!

      Thank you! Highly encourage you to try a set of Pricey shocks on one of your rigs. Not your typical shock.

    Harley says the servo/electronics tray can be used for the OD/DIG servo's with the VFD Twin and a rear winch.

    Subscribed. My comment. I will wait until the kit comes out but even then I would replace the cage with steel which makes me wonder if it would be logical to use those sliders even? May your God bless you.

      thank you! My thoughts in regards to your comment is at that point you might as well get a RC Speedy chassis that uses a vanquish VFD skid. I've done that build personally and it is one of my favorite rigs. if you had a fordyce or phoenix and bought the Speedy chassis you'd have a steel tube rig slightly more than this RTR

      @@theoriginfactory I am old and retired. I have the time to build my own cages and still get a daily walk with another tiny truck. I am certainly no expert at it but really enjoy the challenge of designing and building. As I am located in Australia and don’t have a local comp group I am free to include a heavy doll / driver figure and any scale details . Thanks again for your honesty on the new vanquish offering.

    Was a real pleasure to watch this video. Everything calm and logical explained. I converted my Miller RR to a Fusion Pro and had also mod a lot of pieces to make it fit. Would it be possible to mount the tranny a bit higher with spacers to get the Fusion stay free of the rod mount ? Still have to wait a bit to get the H10 while living at the other end of the pond.

    • @theoriginfactory
      @theoriginfactory  5 месяцев назад

      Thank you for the compliment. The rod mount in this application isn’t used as they have mounted the links on the outside of the skid. Another consideration is elevating the transmission loses its connection with skid, plus the motor plate would need a spacer as well. The mating surfaces of the transmission and skid helps everything from twisting under load. I initially had trouble with the idea of notching the plastic but that is the best way to mount the fusion pro in this application.

    VFD Twin has 46 % overdrive btw, VP admitted they messed up the calculation. 46 is unusable.

    What are the specs on the priceys shocks? And is there anything you'd do differently with them? I'm looking at getting a set for mine as well.

      They work great out of the package. plug and play. I think they are 85/110... Pricey is getting a H10 soon and may have a better combination after he does some testing on his. He's easy to work with, reach out to him on his Facebook.

    No i have not seen one personally but theres just somthing about it that looks toy grade to me

    • @theoriginfactory
      @theoriginfactory  5 месяцев назад

      I can see that. It’s definitely hobby grade as far as being able to repair it and replacement parts etc. I’ve dived off a few ledges accidentally with no damage. There’s also less metal parts with every new release.

    Another letdown from vanquish. It's a shame how they chose profit over listening to all the people asking for a kit . Seems like a capra just not as capable being more narrow and straight axle. I think they missed the mark. But I have to hand it to them for how they market the last few rtrs they get people to spend more than they need to on parts that they won't even use.

      If I didn't have a donor truck for this build it would've been too much money to justify upgrading to this level

      Vanquish wouldn’t be in business if they had to rely on kit sales. The majority of consumers want to buy an rc and put a battery in it and run it. You can’t put down a company that wants to stay in business.

      It’s maybe 1/8 inch narrower than Capra. And they missed the mark? It was sold out in hours! I’d say they hit it out of the park
