Thanks Danny! it's a Charlie slide bar, the same guy who make the fantastic Charlie Capo. It's bigger and give a good tone to the strings, it's really great. Thanks for following. Grazie
Hello. I love your videos very informative. I'm a beginner and looking to buy a Regal dobro. The seller states there is no model # written anywhere on it. He also states he bought it new many years ago. He is asking $300. I'm just wanting your thoughts. Thank you.
Ciao. Where are you living exactly ? Regal is ok, then there are other couple of option too, like the Recording King or Gretsch. They are like 500 euro, or dollar. In these low range of instrument I prefer the Recording King. Let me know where are you located so maybe I can suggest some other infos. Thanks for watching. Grazie
@@trialsbikeguy Elderly in Michigan, and Guitar Center can ship for free. At Elderly hey have the Gretsch g9212 Honey dipper squareneck at $ 385. Guitar Center as a Recording King at $ 500 (better than the Gretsch) . www.guitarcenter.com/Recording-King/RR-36S-VS-Maxwell-Series-Square-Neck-Resonator-Guitar-Vintage-Sunburst-1500000262225.gc . If I hear from somebody selling a dobro around your town, I'll let you know.
Ohhh , after some boring , some funny ! , But fun always needs some boring before . I am a beginner but i perfectly understood that we must invest our time to be in perfect pitch , in right time and to avoid the dobro makes undesired noises .
Hello Bernard. Yes I do few stuff also with that tuning, BUT, if you wait couple of days, as always on Wednesday I put a lesson, and this new one is exactly about that argument. Your question comes at the right moment I already did it, it's ready, but I will put it on Wednesday, so stay tuned and let me know if you find something interesting. Grazie.
I like the way you teach!
Thanks so much for your comment. I'll try to add new video soon. Grazie, appreciate it. Hope it helps.
Magnifico, Paolo!
Thanks a lot JC

Bravo! start simple and gradually add all those naughty bits of ornamentation
Thanks for watching Myron. Grazie
much easier to keep playing the mandolin but the dobro is more expressive and thus worth pursuing the learning curve. Grazie.
@@myronlasko3768 sure, dobro is very expressive and can be use in many ways, many styles. Keep playing. Thanks.
Love your videos Paolo! What bar are you using? Love the size of it. My lap dawg feels a bit to small for me. Thanks.
