    Lyrics:
    Alone In Heaven
    Welcome to heaven, left from the lights, the number seven
    You have it all now, now that you've come to see the light
    Take it all in, an open mind
    Now you wonder: What if your heaven was someone else's hell?
    Heaven. What the hell would I do in that place without you?
    In heaven, alone in heaven, alone in heaven, alone in heaven...
    Welcome to heaven! Can you believe the things you see here?!
    Forever winter, summer of love, spring or fall
    It doesn't matter anymore
    Alone you wonder,
    Can this be heaven if my best friends burn in hell?
    Heaven. What the hell would I do in that place without you?
    In heaven, alone in heaven, alone in heaven, alone in heaven...
    I can't see you here. Where have you all gone now?
    Don't know, but it hurts, to be all alone
    On the field where the stones grow dead names
    I'll never leave you behind,
    It's one for all, and all for life
    Still I wonder,
    Why go to heaven, when my best friends burn in hell?
    Heaven. What the hell would I do in that place without you?
    In heaven, alone in heaven, alone in heaven, alone in heaven...
    Heaven. What the hell would I do in that place without you?
    In heaven, alone in heaven, alone in heaven, alone in heaven...
    I can't see you here. Where have you all gone now?
    Don't know, but it hurts, to be all alone
    On the field where the stones grow dead names
    Heaven,
    Whatta hell would I do in that place without you, now?
    Whatta hell would I do in that place without you?
    Heaven.

    I got to understand this song fully just now. Today's my sister's birthday, but she lives abroad, and so we couldn't congratulate her presonally and make a birthdaycake for her. I know, a birthday isn't a big deal, but still... My family's heaven for me, but this heaven's incomplete when I know that she is alone on this special day. Thank you, Tony, for this beautiful song!

    This has to be my favorite video the guys have ever done, The light and darkness fits the mood of the song, Tony's facial expressions are spot on perfect for the emotion he is trying to convey. I fell in love with this song first time I heard SGHN and was hoping that it would become a single. (SGHN is one of my favorite Sonata albums and this coming from a girl who's fave album by them is Winterheart's Guild)

    Sonata Arctica is one of my favorite Finnish Power/Progressive/Symphonic Metal Bands from Kemi, Finland. They really rock hard! The current members are Vocalist: Tony Kakko(keyboardist & songwriter), Guitarist: Elias Vilijanen, Bass Guitarist: Pasi Kauppinen, Keyboardist & Keytarist: Henrik Klingenberg, and Drummer: Tommy Portimo. All the musicians have acted as backing vocalists except for Portimo. I love Sonata Arctica and all their songs rock! "Alone in Heaven" is beautiful and it rocks hard too! Sonata Arctica does that a lot in their songs and it's amazing to me, but part of it is the talent of their musicians and the other part is the energy and vibrance that Tony Kakko has as a performer!! Rock on Sonata Arctica!!🎸🖤🤘🏻🖤😎

    Veo muchos comentarios de que Sonata esto o Sonata lo otro, pasa que esa gente no entiende el progreso que hacen no solamente los artistas, si no las mismas personas, progresar no significa mejorar, significa cambio y a nadie le gusta el cambio, únicamente las personas que comprenden estos cambios y lo respetan con el paso del tiempo son las que se dan cuenta lo que vale esta banda, el resto... que siga escuchando lo que le plazca, de eso se trata la vida.

    • @franz_mori
      @franz_mori 10 лет назад +5

      EXACTO ! yo no fui tan fan de este album al principio (obviamente eso ya cambió jaja), pero la gente como que olvida la obra maestra que es The Days of Grays, prueba de que Sonata no necesitaba de Jani para hacer música genial... por y para la gente que no gusta ni entiende de cambios existe maná

    • @SonateroDeAlma
      @SonateroDeAlma 10 лет назад +8

      +Mayra Moricete Es que si te ponés a pensar detenidamente hoy en día las bandas que siguen en pie con sus respectivos miembros originales dentro del sub-género que es el power metal o del género del metal en común, prácticamente no exísten... fijate vos Blind Guardian, Stratovarius, Nightwish, Rhapsody (que ahora se llaman Rhapsody Of Fire) Helloween, Gamma Ray y así podemos estar horas nombrando y ninguna de estas bandas épicas y legendarias como la de Sonata Arctica conservan a todos sus miembros desde sus incios como grupo, el hecho es que Jani por irse de Sonata Arctica no va a dejar de ser un excelente guitarrista tanto cómo Tony no va a dejar de ser un gran compositor ni su música va a ser más suave o peor de la que venía haciendo porque el metal progresivo sinfónico de ahora comparado con el power metal que generaban antes son estilos totalmente DIFERENTES, es querer comparar un asado de carne con una ensalada de lechugas y tomates. Muchas gracias por tu respuesta Mayra , te mando un saludo muy grande desde Córdoba, Argentina y que viva el metal :)

    • @franz_mori
      @franz_mori 10 лет назад +6

      Mejor no lo pudiste decir !! es cosa de reinventarse y enriquecerse y muchas veces esos cambios hacen que la gente se interese mas en ellos,... la ironía en esto es que muchas veces dicen de "es que tal banda no es igual sin fulano", pero siguen mas el trabajo de la banda que de el fulano en cuestión XD....Saludos y que viva el metal !

    • @IIIITemplarioIIII

    I know this is your honest opinion and I know that there are many who feel the same, but please allow me to counter with my honest opinion. When putting Unia, Days of Grays and Stones Grow her Name in chronological order a red line appears. True, it diverts a bit from their previous sound, but it also becomes more diverse. There are songs with incredible emotional output (the ones I personally like best) and there are those wherein they revert back to their old sound.
    Diversity is the key here.

    Why is it that so many are complaining about Jani missing? I've always enjoyed SA, but with this album I can't say that I miss him. The spirit of their artwork is still very much around. And with this song I think it proves that SA will be around for quite some time. Even if they say it is made straight forward and soft, it sound like those good old ballads from their early days. At least that's what I think. Now what would be a shame is their Tours. I've seen them once, and for that I needed to travel to Wacken- Please do more tours in Scandinavia GOD DAMN IT!! --True fan of Sonata Arctica--

    There are SO many people saying "WHAT HAPPENED TO SONATA ARCTICA?! THEY USED TO BE THIS AND THAT!!!" Who SAYS they've changed for good? Bands try new things, and SA could very well go back to their old power metal style in the next album, or even the next. Either way, whining isn't gonna bring it back. Maybe it's not for everybody, but THAT'S THE POINT! I really don't see why bands can't have more than one style, especially when each one appeals to a different crowd.

      +Vespertilio Vulpes Lagopus Fera Mutat Speciem Fulgetra Umbra Nivalis Indeed. In interviews after Unia album, they said the choices were to continue the same way and bore themselves to death or try something new. It seems that they have come closer to their earlier albums. Also the powermetal as such is pretty much a bone chewed down to cliche.

    A very good song, the reason that some people doesn't like this song because it's more of a rock song than heavy metal, and that's sad because it's still Sonata Arctica, The lyrics, melodies and everything are just as good as before.

    If you feel that way then I guess that's all there is to it to you. To me there's a whole new world to their new stuff to discover and man I am exploring with the greatest of joys :).
    To each his own!

    Music taste is subjective. You just cannot say things are bad or good, just things that you like or not.
    Those last albums are musically full of arrangements, personally i like em a lot. But i can understand to those who miss the power metal speed on the songs.
    Anyway, i keep liking sonata arctica and im excited about the new album incoming :)
