- Après LACUNA COIL & MOONSPELL voici le full set au Hellfest 2022 de THERION. Therion est un groupe de death metal symphonique suédois, originaire de Upplands Väsby, avant d'évoluer vers un style symphonique associé à du heavy metal plus traditionnel. Le nom du groupe a été inspiré par le titre de l'album de Celtic Frost To Mega Therion (1985) qui en grec (θηρίον) désigne la bête du livre de l'apocalypse.

Έχουν ένα από παλιά στο Hellfest,η Lori Lewis ήταν ακόμα τραγουδίστρια στα λάιβ να σκεφτείς αλλά φέτος τα δύο που περίμενα από Therion and Draconian δυστυχώς τα βρήκα σε αυτό το κανάλι μόνο, τουλάχιστον μέχρι στιγμής.
Επειδή ακόμα ανεβάζουν λάιβ από το Hellfest μπορεί να γίνει κάποιο θαύμα.

Agreed, the singing line-up of Lori, Snowy, Katarina and Thomas was probably the best live quartet the band ever had on stage (IMHO)

It's an interesting definition: "death metal symphonique" - in the very beginning it might have been death metal but after that I wouldn't call it that. Symphonic metal and that's all.
It´s not a Metal band. Weak guitars, drums and bass lines. It´s justa some kind of rock, but not metal.

There was something strange at this concert with the speed of the songs and with the guitar playing. Especially on solo parts. Somehow everything is slower than in the original - even the initially slow songs, and all the solos are blurred and often cut off
Maybe that's because even the bandmembers get sick and tired of playing the same set of songs over and over and over again while the band in fact has a marvelous repertoire to choose from?
@@tonyvandergaag8765 Based on the communication with Chris, I think that the problem is much deeper and it began immediately after the appearance of his girlfriend or shortly before that during the departure of Mats. Chris became very nervous and angry. In an conversation on facebook, he even insulted me and my Homeland, although it was there that he cured his neck that had been tormenting him for so long. Judging by Instagram and the fact that Chris talks about alcohol more often than about music, then completely joyless thoughts come. I think you remember how aggressively he reacted to any remark about metal opera. And as for the band's musicians, I remember seeing an interview where Vidal said that he had no idea before what kind of band this was and just playing for money without straining. Let's add here the conflict of Chris and Snowy, as well as staff turnover...
@@justawasteoftime9461 Maybe you are right indeed, i cannot judge much of what you write because you are obviously more deeper into this band than i am. I just noticed when i see/hear live performances from the past few years that somehow the balance within the band is not right. Tomas f.i. is a fantastic voice when it comes to the more 'opera-ish' parts in Therion's music. But i find him quite unfitted for singing the 'rock' parts. A while ago the band had singers/vocalists like Snowy and Mats to do these parts. On the female vocals right now i think it's just a matter of taste but also here the combination of Lori and Katarina covered a much wider vocal range than with the two present female singers they overlap more than was the case when Lori and Katarina were still there for the female vocal duties... Whatever the band is due for a perfomance here towards the end of the year and i'll be there for sure!

Therion son los mejores, yo no me considero un experto pero siento que chiara arruina un poco las canciones con mucho vibrato. Ella una cantante muy buena y se que cada quien tiene su estilo, pero chiara abusa del vibrato. Pero aun asi son una exelente banda, ninguna se le compara, no hay 2 iguales. Espero ya Leviathan II & Leviathan III MUCHA SUERTE A THERION A SUS FANS DE CORAZON COMO YO. SALUDOS😃🖤

Es entendible, aunque también suele ser más molesto en video. Algo parecido me ocurre con Tarja Turunen, en video a veces su vibrato pesado y sus experimentos en voz de pecho para sonar menos "clásico" me cansan, pero en persona es otra cosa, la potencia y profundidad de su voz nunca me dejan de sorprender, puede que con Chiara sea algo similar, ya sabré en un mes que Therion vuelve a mi ciudad y estoy ansioso de escuchar esta nueva alineación en vivo, la ultima vez que los vi fue con la excelsa Lori Lewis. ¡Saludos!

Siento que Therion ha perdido mucha calidad en sus integrantes, demasiado vibrato en las voces femeninas, mucho adorno innecesario en la masculina y no me termina de cuadrar la armonía de los instrumentos. Deja mucho que desear esta presentación en vivo
El audio del vídeo es malisimo igual, difícil apreciar realmente como habrá sido estar allí y no verlo mal grabado por RUclips.

@@lic.cantinas jaja a lo que el men se refiere es que han tenido alineaciones más potentes... tanto en la ejecución de los instrumentos y en voces. Yo prefiero a Snowy Shaw, Mats Levén y Lori Lewis en voces... y en guitatarra y bajo a Kristian y Johan Niemann... y batería a Petter Karlsson. Pero de todos modos iré a verlos aquí en Boca Del Río, Veracruz en febrero😎
@@lic.cantinas no tengo una banda, pero si conocimiento musical. Este tipo de fallas no se las espera uno de una banda de la talla de Therion, una de garaje normal. Más aún cuando es una banda que te ha gustado desde hace más de 15 años

Ya no ve deberían llamar therion aunque el dider es la esensia de la banda todos son músicos y cantantes prácticamente nuevos
Desde que sigo a Therion en los 90tas, ese es su sello, entrada y salida de integrantes según el concepto del disco y lo que se busque para las versiones en vivo... Aunque para mí y la mayoría, la alineación del Gotic Metal del 2007, es la más completa en cuanto a elementos musicales y las 4 mejores voces para los directos entre Mats, Snowy, Katarina y Lori

Son las que la mayoría de la gente quiere escuchar. Si no las tocan, nadie va a verlos. Tienen un amplio repertorio pero la gente siempre querrá escuchar lo mismo.

Sounds like bad tribute group, awful quality of mixing, male vocals, solo guitar playing... New album is great, imho, but two songs from it was performed not really good is it sounds on studio version.
You just have to know how to read... and you will understand little guy !
