I've been a ToT fan since the beginning, I literally grew up with their music.

This is great music. I have not listened to Theatre of Tragedy before, which is unfortunate - but better late than never. I like the balance in between instruments and sounds (keyboards are used very well) and the dynamics in the songs.

Recuerdo cuando escuché Venus por primera vez, era muy tarde en la noche y estaba haciendo el útlimo trabajo práctico para la carrera, quedé inoptizado por la voz de Liv.
Para mi, fue y será la mejor cantante del metal.

DAMN! That was awesome. I lost interest in Theater of Tragedy when "Musique" came out. It just wasn't for me. I LOVED the first two albums. I loved the music in "Aegis" but didn't care for the change in his vocal style. ALL of these songs sounded great live. Even the songs from the albums I didn't care for. I think I need to check out their last album.

1:44 still interested. Voice kicks in...not so sure anymore. Female voice kicks in....still here. Band sounds solid, great mixing/recording. 3:22 waiting for something more to happen. Male voice again, almost quitting, female voice saves it. Something has to happen soon or I will lose interest..need a breakdown or a solo or something. And nothing is happening...
Thoughts, get aq great guitar player, fire the male singer, teach the female singer to growl to take his place and you might have something...maybe. If you must keep him, he needs some vocal effects, he can't handle it without. Sounds weak and forced. He should sound freaking scary and powerful, not hollow and weak. More form the diaphragm might help and maybe work on stage appearance. And female singer, how about a little more power? Very soft for metal. Sorry 11:32 bored. Moving on.

It kills me that I never knew about this band until they were gone. The fact that they were unknown here in the U.S. is an indictment of our music culture and industry. We are drowning in crap while bands like this have to call it quits? WTF?

Such a great band.. Back in 95 when they introduced female vocals they took so much heat (at least in my country)... female vocals in that genre were not really appreciated at the time - full on aggression mode was on.

Nell sings pretty cool! In a different way as Christine, but she definitely fits the TOT style - she has a nice powerful voice, can sing loud and completely stressless.
It reminds me of the early days of another band: Tristania
