I remember perusing the Destiny forums back in the day and people would put up polls asking what was more important in gameing: Graphics, FPS, Gameplay, Game Mechanics, or story. FPS and Graphics lost out in every poll.
The industry's abuse of upscaling tech has ruined not only the games themselves, but game discourses too. NO HARDWARE can run every game in native 4k60 right now, but console fanboys are not technologically literate enough to realize that.
I literally just finished my 100% on achievements in Dark Souls Remastered last week. Poor planning made it take 3.5 runs, but I split those up (did NG/NG+1 on one character, then a full new character run for the last 1.5 runs). It has become one of my favorite games of all time.

Let's be real King, 5070 being as powerful as 4090 but costing a third of the price sounds like NVidia BS advertising talk to me: what they mean is if you turn DLSS 4 and AI frame generation on it will have performance like a 4090 (at the cost of image quality, unless DLSS4 is insane), remember: "The more GPU's you buy, the more you save"
@@klutzyking552 It's just my theory, I find it kinda hard to believe that the 5070 would be like a 4090 but costing 500 bucks, also having less memory (I know it's GDDR 7, which is faster but still) also didnt they use cyberpunk with path tracing to show off 5090 power, and with no DLSS or frame generation it had like 27/28 FPS and when they did the same with 4090 it had 20 fps? but the 5090 with AI frame generation and DLSS 4 gets double compared to 4090 with AI stuff on. I think they are relying on AI for these vaules, obviously we will know more about these when review sites get their hands on these and test them, so take all of what I said with a grain of salt, the salt you provided me. BTW thanks for all your content, never miss a video of yours
It is very in character for NGreedia to market based on framegen, supported in all three games that added it. They did it with 40xx generation, they are very much doing it again
You’re 100% right. Right after Jensen sai “4090 performance for 549” He quietly followed with “This is impossible without AI” In otherwords it’s impossible to say this without multi frame gen.

Why is it that PS fanboys do not understand that the steam hardware survey is a voluntary one. Using these numbers as some kind of gotcha doesn’t mean a damn thing. Especially when they use this out of context of what data is actually telling us. These guys really need a new song and dance cause honestly this is getting old at this point.
As someone with a 4090, it can run everything. The issue for most people is CPU bottlenecks. DLSS is really only needed in games like cyberpunk 2077 maxed out with maxed out ray-tracing.
There's no denying that the 4090 is a monster of a GPU but not everyone has one, I have a 6700XT and use FSR on Balanced or Quality where I can but even in games where I don't have any form of upscaling, I'm getting 60+fps, I just have to drop the settings slightly.
Insecure fanboys. You don't even need a pc with a dedicated GPU to get started pc gaming. I started with a 300 dollar budget laptop. You don't get to play AAA titles but Indie titles play mostly fine if you're okay with 30 fps.
let me get this straight this dude said the pro is stronger than pcs because most pc gamers are playing at 1080 but aren't most playstation gamers still playing on the base ps5, ps4 pro, base ps4? These console gamers never know pc gamers have many places to shop for pc parts. He doesn't realize most pc gamers do not care about 4k only console gamers have this weird fascination with 4k
8:40 I love the argument about having to buy a desk and chair. #1: you gotta buy an entertainment center and a couch. #2: most people in 2024 have a pc even if they don’t game on it. Even I had a crappy Acer all-in-one in its designated spot where a proper pc now sits. So, weak argument all around.
I think his overall point is that he is upset that PC gamers have the option to set what performance/resolution they choose to play on, as opposed to having to be content with what a corporation decides
Thankfully Console games are getting "fidelity or performance" settings. Still limited ofc. People like this should use their energy to generate better consoles, not hating on PC. Or just working a job to get a PC
Sorry to say, but I think that nvidia is gaslighting us, the 4090 performance will be with dlss4 and multi-frame gen, the real raw performance of 5070 will be around 30% better than last gen. Maybe I am wrong, but that's how interpreted the numbers nvidia provided, we must wait and see the reviews
Did I hear a " YOU ALL" at the beginning of this video? KLUTZY, what happened to the "Y'all"? Delta W? That was a good looking couch though. Anyone find it odd how many people are using that mic? Why do so many people kiss it to talk ? ID UNDERSTAND!!!! Great video once again. Can't wait for the next one.
I'm still very happily playing on my rtx 2070, at 1080p. I don't have any plans on upgrading. I might grab a 5070 if it turns out to be as good as promised. Don't really need 4k for the games I mainly play. Not sure what 4k would do for civ6 or ck3
There are a variety of factors on PCs that determine what resolution people play their games at; the most popular GPUs are all mid-range. Gamers with a 3090, 4090, 6900XT or a 7900XTX are the exception, not the rule. It's not just the GPU though, the monitor also comes into play. Just because you might have one of those high-end GPUs it doesn't mean that you are playing in native 4K as you might only have a 1080p monitor or you might have issues with your eyesight that means playing at 4K is more difficult. But my takeaway from his video is if you have a 4090 you MUST play in native 4K, like he assumes the PS5 Pro runs at. 🤦♂
the wonderful thing about pc gaming is that you can run whatever resolution you want!!! my main monitor is 1080p and i have a 800 x 600 CRT monitor for old game
Also, been trying to get an answer for bit now. Is an NIVDIA GeForce RTX 3060 for a laptop good? I am mostly using it to record but I want to try more games on it, but I don't want to blow it up.
I started playing on PC about 2 years ago. I have a 2060 yet I play all new released games on medium to high graphics with decent framerates. I have my Xbox and Gamecube but have had so much fun on PC. I recommend all of my friends to switch over. I'm so glad I took the jump into PC gaming
You don't actually believe the 5070 will match the 4090, right? Nvidia's own RT comparison of Far Cry 6 puts it near 4070 ti levels, Nvidia was including multi frame generation when they said 5070 would offer 40990 performance.
Also if you calculate booth a PC and a Console you pay around the same ammount of money if you play more than 2 games a year cause PS plus and the game on Playstation are just so expensive. For example i like to play Japanese games currently. Its depending on the game multiple times more expensive than on PC.
As someone who owns a ps4, an Xbox S, a Switch, and a crummy laptop. Do the specs and graphics really matter when everyone is playing older games? I dont even mean from previous generations. Even new games are using models and graphics from generations ago. Especially Indie, where most of the good games are. Also, did he really think that everyone is playing visual novels and clicker games on PC? That is sad if those are the only game types he can think of.
Just got my first gaming pc a couple months ago and gotta say love it for the most part i havent pc gamed since Halo 1 on pc. But i hate how a lot of games come out poorly optimized on pc and i have to fix it on my end its really annoying
The argument about what hardware you need for a certain resolution is wild to me, My PC with an Ryzen 5 3600 / 2070 Super does 1440p no problem, yeah the settings aren't cranked but they don't have to be and games still look great.
We live in a timeline where you dont need to know a lot about PC to use Linux. How can you pretend that downloading stuff from an app or official web page is something hard?
I’m pretty sure the whole point of a console is supposed to be affordable for the casuals, aka, people who are either busy with work and stuff or families. It’s almost as expensive as a PC with far less reasons to buy it
the PS5 upscales 4k from 1080p with checkerboarding! 😂🤣 he has no scooby doo! so to match its performance Nvidia cards would use DLSSP, Dynamic Res, 75% render distance max, it's not 4K native, Also the Series X and PS5Prostate upscale from 1440p.
This guy is actually right that a PC with a 4080 cost's over $3000 because he is Canadian, and in Canada just a 4080 alone cost's about as much as the cost of the whole PC he showed, around $1800. In fact, a 4080 PC will set you back over $4000 here in Canada, a 4090 PC cost's over $5000 with the 4090 costing $3000+ after taxes.
Holy…fuck! Okay, many PC gamers play at 1440p but I have a legit question - How many play at standard 2K (2560x1440) and how many play at 2K UW (Ultra Wide, which would be 3440x1440)? I’d love to hear the response for those 2K players. Me, I run 2K UW with an Intel Arc A770 16GB and I’m still getting great performance. Some games I run natively, others I use XeSS.
I have the same mic as this guy, solid red Hyper Quad X, and mine didn't sound that bad. I think he is just blowing it out and/or the program he is using sucks. I use Filmora so I am not sure how well I got out. Hell, even through OBS I was sounding better than this.
I love morons like this who don't understand statistics or that not everyone participates in the Steam hardware survey. They make it very clear that they understand nothing and that they can't do basic research. Like it takes a few seconds to pull up the total number of PC gamers and even using the same statistics that don't represent PC gamers fully, the number of PC gamers playing at 4K is still pretty damn high. Even if PlayStation and Xbox had a higher player base individually than on PC, not all of them are using 4K TVs. Unless he can get verifiable proof from Sony or Microsoft that everyone with a Series X or PS5/Pro owns a 4K TV, he's got no place shitting on PC gamers not playing at 4K. And that's ignoring the whole PSSR and dynamic resolution shenanigans consoles do nowadays.
imagine streaming with a face cam that make you look like you are some early 2000 webcall and a mic that sounds worst than a 10 bucks headset. and this guy is calling people broke?
26:48 percentage wise 1080P is 3 folds 1440P 1080P is 60% And 1440 is 20% Approximately So he has a valid point Now granted consoles can’t do native 4K unless it’s an indie title
FYI this "5070 will be like 4090" is probably inaccurate. Someone made a video about it. I haven't watched it yet but past nvidia cards didn't have this type of leap, so it makes sense.
for the price of the PS5 Pro, you can build a 1440p gaming pc if your smart about what hardware you choose. still rocking 3070. does what I need it to do.
13:25 a person who’s dropping in a 4080 or 4090 isn’t going to chose the parts you have in the video (16gb ram isn’t enough at least 32gb, cpu is going to bottleneck 7800x3d if they want to save they will go for 5800x3d etc..) So he is right about the price But the monitor argument is not valid you can hock up the pc to tv until you make by and get a new monitor Peripherals I honestly use just controller for my pc
As a 4090 owner and my brother has a ps5 they are leagues different in graphics quality upscaling is good but not enough for the amount of copium these people huff
As someone who has an entry level pc with a 4K TV I can run swtor, LOTRO, WoW, DnDO on max settings with DLS he really doesn't get it, mind you I play my console more because it's less hassle and much less intrusive because some of these anti cheats really be snooping.
I think the console players take the experience of buying a laptop to play games and the problems of having to buy another one for better performance, and believe it's the same with a desktop PCs. 🤔
Ah yes, I'm gonna trust the guy who somehow manages to make a modern mic sound worse than the microphone from Apollo 11 landing on the moon when it comes to tech 😂
31:29 nah it’s not that people buy them It’s a luxury item Rolex and rolls Royce probably sell at each store one or 3 at best and that is profitable to them It’s always cost and RnD compared to units selling a lot doesn’t mean profitable and selling little doesn’t mean loss
My only assumption he's making is that if you are paying that much for a PC you should be playing 4k all the time? That's why you shouldn't go into entry? 21:00 answers that, but I think that's his only point in all honesty. Like there's no point in playing on PC if your not playing in 4k I guess.
"ohhhhh you play it at 10800 hmm hmm curious" be me " hey... ask me how many frames my screen can put out. hint, it's more than any console at performance mode... ewe "
So um, about your comment regarding backwards compatibility, you can still play like your PS4 games on your PS5. Unless you're talking about playing PS3 games on your PS4 through a physical disc or something.
that difficulty he claims in the 4090 having difficulty, was probably taken in path tracing. otherwise, it is a cpu bottleneck. starfield is known for that sort of thing.
Unfortunately most people arnt very intelligent. …… which includes most of the PlayStation consumer base. -700$ console -160$/240$ extra for ps plus. 80$ per year until next PlayStation comes out…. Prob 2-3 years? -80$ disk drive -40$ stand -80$ for an extra controller maybe 2 -160$ Then the next PlayStation comes out in 2-3 years which is probably going to be -700/800$ maybe more -extra controller 80$ maybe 2 160$ -god forbid if they sell the disc drive separately and the stand which is 40$ + 80$ -Let’s not forget that a console is just that a console and can’t do other things. -Also doesn’t have steam which has big sales and saves you money -steam and pc in general also get PlayStation and Xbox exclusives all the time. Usually 1-2 maybe more years after they come out. But still we get them. For Xbox gamepass sometimes it’s day 1….. But consoles don’t get each other’s exclusives. Making not only pc having pc games but both consoles as well…. -there is a lot of pc games that consoles don’t have as well. When you add up all the money that the PlayStation product sells you… and your average PlayStation owner is going to buy all of them. It turns out you’re spending much more money than the “700$” your spending. Take that money and just buy a high end pc that will last you 2 console generations. And the best part. Is that you don’t half to wait to play games at a minimum 60fps 🤡

Yeah I own a 4k monitor but even I game at 1080p but that is mainly so I can read any text that pops up as I hav efound that at higher resolutions I find it hard to read. For me I don' tcare abou tresolution. Enjoying the game I'm playing is my priority.
The Playstation cant even do ultrawide nonetheless super ultrawide lmao
*apu
I remember perusing the Destiny forums back in the day and people would put up polls asking what was more important in gameing: Graphics, FPS, Gameplay, Game Mechanics, or story. FPS and Graphics lost out in every poll.
Any gamer worth their salt knows this, except this PS5 fanboy
Graphics and FPS are only enhancements. Some people don't get the memo

Dreamcastguy: Did somebody say meth?!
Methcastguy: Did somebody say crack? 😂😂
Same but I boss soul duped Sifs soul because it requires ng+2
@kevo300 Yeah, I would have done that too, but I had enough other things to get (primarily pyromancies and miracles) that I just did bare minimum on bosses to get all I needed.
Is his camera running windows 98? I mean man that's some lag.
Windows 98 was more stable than that camera's framerate 😂
Dude why do console fanboys always talk about 4090s and 5090s when others GPU is also on the market for pc
I'm still rockin' an Xbox One and PS4, screw the 9th gen consoles
I mostly play games on my PC but I do have an Xbox One X as well, the Xbox is more of a streaming and 4K Blu-Ray box now but being able to use it for games is a bonus.
I upgraded from an Xbox One to a Series X about 9 to 10 months ago, worth every penny.
@@megaman37456 Cool. I can't lie, I have been tempted. If there was one I had to choose it would be the Series X
Depending on what games you play, the Series S/X would be a pretty neat upgrade imo

This dude definition of low end is probably anything below the 4080, and this includes the 4070, 4060, and B580
Imagine PS5 player calling something lowend.😂
Let's be real King, 5070 being as powerful as 4090 but costing a third of the price sounds like NVidia BS advertising talk to me: what they mean is if you turn DLSS 4 and AI frame generation on it will have performance like a 4090 (at the cost of image quality, unless DLSS4 is insane), remember: "The more GPU's you buy, the more you save"
I have to look more into it but honestly it wouldn’t surprise me lol
Right after Jensen sai “4090 performance for 549”
He quietly followed with
“This is impossible without AI”
In otherwords it’s impossible to say this without multi frame gen.
100% DLSS4 FG Fake Frames are being used.
Jensen was also referencing AI Tops iirc.
His webcam is as laggy as his brain.
Somehow, the Sony Ponies keep on outdoing Nintendrones in being the most big-brained console peasants.
What about the Xbots
@@nadatowatchXbox fans at this point are just chilling.
They’re either a weirdo that think starfield and Indiana jones are generation defining titles or they’re just refugees from the 360 days.
The backwards compatibility is pretty dope tho
@@haroldasusus4684 As an Xbox fanboy, no one thinks Indiana Jones is a "console selling game" (as if those exist anymore) and Starfield is an overwhelming disappointment.
And you get access to PC exclusives like RTS games, and LOT of indies, and mods!
@@signe_stilett Skyrim modded is what made me want a better rig. Sub 20 fps is terrible. Like a slideshow.
It's cute that he thinks that the playstation is playing games at a native 4k.
Salt awards > game awards
Project Klutzy's brain at all costs! I can't even imagine how much dead air you had to cut out with how slow this dude is. Dear lord.
Project klutzy?! What are you up to over there miss floof?🤔
let me get this straight this dude said the pro is stronger than pcs because most pc gamers are playing at 1080 but aren't most playstation gamers still playing on the base ps5, ps4 pro, base ps4?
Aka jealous disguised as rage. That's common of these wild fanbogs.
Why would I be scared of a plastic box? 😂
10:27 "and I'm getting into Dark Souls 2" I pray for you Klutzy
I’m a few hours in and it’s not THAT bad so far
@@klutzyking552 I hope you enjoy it brother. Lord knows I can't lol
Is the 4080 PC on PC part picker using used or brand new parts?
Did I hear a " YOU ALL" at the beginning of this video? KLUTZY, what happened to the "Y'all"? Delta W?
That was a good looking couch though. Anyone find it odd how many people are using that mic? Why do so many people kiss it to talk ? ID UNDERSTAND!!!!
Great video once again. Can't wait for the next one.
The main reason is to get as much use out of the dynamic range without cranking the gain.
I'm still very happily playing on my rtx 2070, at 1080p. I don't have any plans on upgrading. I might grab a 5070 if it turns out to be as good as promised.
Don't really need 4k for the games I mainly play. Not sure what 4k would do for civ6 or ck3
Note how he goes on and on about native 4k on pcs. But when he says we have 4k on concoles he does not use the word native
I would kill for a 1440p option on consoles
Ah yes new year old fanboy stupidity, love it . Let the salt flow
the wonderful thing about pc gaming is that you can run whatever resolution you want!!! my main monitor is 1080p and i have a 800 x 600 CRT monitor for old game
20:05
Lucky for you im already playing the black myth Wukong, i have a mid tier GPU and it's running fine at native 1080p so far
Also, been trying to get an answer for bit now. Is an NIVDIA GeForce RTX 3060 for a laptop good? I am mostly using it to record but I want to try more games on it, but I don't want to blow it up.
Coming from a crowd that plug into a 4K 60htz tv and think they’re playing native 4K 60….🤦♂️
Just because I am playing on a 1080p monitor it doesn't mean that I am playing at a 1080p resolution.
10:35 And I thought I was the only one doing this.
I've been gaming on a 2060 for 3 years now and I can still play at 1080p60 without fail.
Every single sentence you shat out in this comment is wrong and i dont have time to correct you but just to let you know that
@n3rgal166 👌🫡🤣🤣
Maybe you can get upscaled 4k from iPhone games on ps5 but an open world rpg??
@haroldasusus4684 ??? What are you on about?? Why would an RPG not be upscaled?
@@TriPBOOMER ps5 is upscaled 1080 or even 720p
This guy is actually right that a PC with a 4080 cost's over $3000 because he is Canadian, and in Canada just a 4080 alone cost's about as much as the cost of the whole PC he showed, around $1800. In fact, a 4080 PC will set you back over $4000 here in Canada, a 4090 PC cost's over $5000 with the 4090 costing $3000+ after taxes.
Bro's forehead and camera didn't just got roasted on Alex's stream. They got vaporized with a series of nukes lmao
Some games I run natively, others I use XeSS.
they said this about the ps4 pro and one x look how well that went
Moved from xbox to PC recently, never ever regretted that choice.
imagine streaming with a face cam that make you look like you are some early 2000 webcall and a mic that sounds worst than a 10 bucks headset. and this guy is calling people broke?
I'm happy playing at 1080p.
Every single game I've played, 60fps easily.
Couldn't be more happy with my rig.
1:05 its not
26:48 percentage wise 1080P is 3 folds 1440P
1080P is 60%
And 1440 is 20%
Approximately
So he has a valid point
Now granted consoles can’t do native 4K unless it’s an indie title
FYI this "5070 will be like 4090" is probably inaccurate. Someone made a video about it. I haven't watched it yet but past nvidia cards didn't have this type of leap, so it makes sense.
Going to watch it after this vid. If I get to the end...
Also we roasted this guy on Alex's stream. 😂
My gawd… it’s not the salt awards.
for the price of the PS5 Pro, you can build a 1440p gaming pc if your smart about what hardware you choose.
still rocking 3070. does what I need it to do.
13:25 a person who’s dropping in a 4080 or 4090 isn’t going to chose the parts you have in the video (16gb ram isn’t enough at least 32gb, cpu is going to bottleneck 7800x3d if they want to save they will go for 5800x3d etc..)
So he is right about the price
But the monitor argument is not valid you can hock up the pc to tv until you make by and get a new monitor
Peripherals I honestly use just controller for my pc
As a 4090 owner and my brother has a ps5 they are leagues different in graphics quality upscaling is good but not enough for the amount of copium these people huff
As someone who has an entry level pc with a 4K TV I can run swtor, LOTRO, WoW, DnDO on max settings with DLS he really doesn't get it, mind you I play my console more because it's less hassle and much less intrusive because some of these anti cheats really be snooping.
32:12 in his own words 4K upscale not native. Also most PC owners are not gaming as a priority for their PCs.
To quote the great Ohnoitsalexx "You do it to yourselves!" But great vid as always and looking forward to that Backrooms vid, I love the backrooms lol
31:29 nah it’s not that people buy them
It’s a luxury item
Rolex and rolls Royce probably sell at each store one or 3 at best and that is profitable to them
It’s always cost and RnD compared to units selling a lot doesn’t mean profitable and selling little doesn’t mean loss
My only assumption he's making is that if you are paying that much for a PC you should be playing 4k all the time? That's why you shouldn't go into entry? 21:00 answers that, but I think that's his only point in all honesty. Like there's no point in playing on PC if your not playing in 4k I guess.
PC: I want higher frame rate, lower res and better card
Consolers: Look they don't use 4K!!!!!!!!!
"ohhhhh you play it at 10800 hmm hmm curious" be me " hey... ask me how many frames my screen can put out. hint, it's more than any console at performance mode... ewe "
As if PS5 Pro can run 1080p nativee to begin with... or let alone 60FPS in this gen?
So um, about your comment regarding backwards compatibility, you can still play like your PS4 games on your PS5. Unless you're talking about playing PS3 games on your PS4 through a physical disc or something.
Are the console wars still a thing? With more companies having cross console release, I figured it would have died down
that difficulty he claims in the 4090 having difficulty, was probably taken in path tracing. otherwise, it is a cpu bottleneck. starfield is known for that sort of thing.
Can't compare him to Harman, he at least has a point you can follow
1:00 come on bro. How long have you been on pc?
Unfortunately most people arnt very intelligent.
…… which includes most of the PlayStation consumer base.
-700$ console
-160$/240$ extra for ps plus. 80$ per year until next PlayStation comes out…. Prob 2-3 years?
-80$ disk drive
-40$ stand
-80$ for an extra controller maybe 2 -160$
Then the next PlayStation comes out in 2-3 years which is probably going to be
-700/800$ maybe more
-extra controller 80$ maybe 2 160$
-god forbid if they sell the disc drive separately and the stand which is 40$ + 80$
-Let’s not forget that a console is just that a console and can’t do other things.
-Also doesn’t have steam which has big sales and saves you money
-steam and pc in general also get PlayStation and Xbox exclusives all the time.
Is that you don’t half to wait to play games at a minimum 60fps 🤡
this guy makes as much sense as that Italian song that's supposed to sound English, but it's just gibberish.
I went from a rx5500 to 6700xt and my gpu now is the 4070 ti super
1080p is superior resolution. I mean i play 1080p on 4070 and it still struggles in some games on native resolution
