@rwvry there is a difference between a player replaying a game for nostalgia, recall the story, or doing it for fun, and devs repeating events in a new expansion (which is really normal for Warcraft writing).

@rwvry Warcraft devs have reprised a lot of instances throughout the games. That is not the same as wanting to replay older content.
Somehow ... Dalaran was destroyed again. Somehow ... Magni knocked out again.
@rwvry If that were true, there would be a lot more of private servers in recent expansions than from Classic and on.

Honestly, I feel like we’ve gotten barely any info on this expansion, so seeing content creators finally give some bits of gameplay on it is refreshing

Dalaran can't be left alone for more than 2 expansions huh. Dalaran might as well be the new protagonist of the whole wow saga at this point. Dalaran gets scooped, Dalaran teleports, Dalaran moves, Dalaran Falls.. Maybe Dalaran will get ressurected next..

I have no reason to buy this expansion at all. More dwarves? New big bad? Wasn't too enthralled with the tone of Dragonflight either. My mom thought it was cute but I want to feel like how I felt playing Witcher III or Fallout New Vegas, albeit toned down to retain the "T for Teen" rating. I miss the immersion.
Man it's sad seeing Dalaran destroyed, i hope we rebuild it for The Last Titan cause that is the best city in this game and i refuse to go to Northrend without that damn flying city

Oh that Magni, always getting put into a coma. And oh that Dalaran, always getting destroyed.
So we now have four versions of Dalaran in Wow. One a crater, one in Northrend, one over the Broken Isles and now one blown up again over Khaz'Algar. Blizzard really needs to stop obsessing over Mage central and make some new faction cities.

I really hope theres more allied races then just earthen, like they're cool and all, but I've already got fire dwarves.
Honestly even northrends ice dwarves would have been cooler, maybe package them with a lost gang of frost trolls.

I was honestly amazed that the broken weren't added in legion what with them having pretty significant ties to demonic forces, and many living in the Exodar literally right now.

A central theme of Dalaran has been the Violet Hold. How many times has a prison break failed? Maybe Xalatath was smart and just blew up the chunk of the city hosting the prison?

There's promise, but I need a "Yes" factor. DF was a nice step up, but nothing that was amazing. I have some hope, I want to believe, and I hope to be surprised. They have made some right moves, now just make some good commitments.

They destroyed old flying Dalaran because there will be a new rebuilt Dalaran on the ground in the Midnight expansion serving as the new neutral hub!
I doubt delves will be too difficult. They were made specifically for more casual leaning players who complained they can't keep up with the Mythic system but still want end game gear.

It's cool to see consequences and for the player to lose. Here's hopeing the consequences will continue to bite the player during the expansion aswell. I can't remember in Legion after the broken shore there were to many times after big lore character or losses happened during that expansion. For example to see Velen die during the last patch would have changed the stakes somewhat for Antorus, but I don't know

Dragonflight will be the 2nd wow expansion I didnt take part in. The first was Wrath of the Lich King and I have some regret over that since WoTLK is often considered by many to have been WoWs peak before a decline but I did absolutely love MoP.
Might regret missing the expac but im doubting it. Most of what I hear from it is eh, its alright.
Think there might be something like the timeless isles in it from MoP which has been my favorite open world zone ive played.
