Does it work with a spirit pack?
If you mean the electrics you could probably make them work...but I don't know the internals of the spirit pack well enough to say for sure.
Do you know if this kit my work on a spirit Halloween proton with a hasbro Spengler wand?
You'd have to gut all the electronics out of the Spengler wand and fit a car stereo speaker to the back of the spirit pack. The power cell will be too big for the spirit pack but with some ingenuity you might be able to make it work.
@@adamkearley thx I just ordered everything I needed to upgrade the spirit pack, and this is going to be my first proton build I have a different light and sound kit being ready to shipped, it’s the Frankengeek kit I am really excited

I built this in 2015-16 using parts from Nickatron (no longer active), GBFans.com and others. The electronics are from Rabid Prototypes who are still active.
Back then I managed to get all the parts for around £700. It will likely be more now. There are a number of places in the UK and US who sell kits or commission finished builds. They should come up on Google 👍

Whered you get the pack from and how much did it cost?
Pack is home built. Parts between £600-700 total.

Parts cost me a little over £600, although the main source no longer trades.
If you're in the UK, the main supplier is now BenOfKent. In the US I think it's Karniverous Creations.

No, this was a personal project.

how did you get the tube to extend
It's mounted on a rod which sits inside a shaft which is anchored to the back of the gunbox. Pulling the barrel back compresses a spring and a notch on the rod lathes onto a hook controlled by the lever. Just pull back on the lever to release the spring and extend the tube.
The proton pack is incredible
I got one years ago. So how would you go about installing the Spangler wand to this ^_^ any ideas?
I don't have the Spengler wand so wouldn't have a clue, I'm afraid...

This was built, not bought. Do some googling...plenty of places that will sell you the parts.

What knob did you use for your volume knob?
The kit comes with a volume control pot. The know itself is a resin cast from Nickatron Props, although he's sadly no longer trading.
@@adamkearley the kit I bought has the pot also but it's not long enough to reach the knob.

I seen a lot of them proton packs for yours is almost like the realest one I seen and one of the best ones I've seen

I spent about £600‐700 in parts and about a year of research and building time 👍

No...the kit is the lights and sounds only.

I didn't buy it...I built it. Watch to the end for the places I sourced most of the parts from 👍

Yes I did, however it took more than a year of research, planning and careful building so I'm not able to make another one to order. The time consumption alone would be too much.
There are several people in the States and the UK who build packs for people. Have a hunt around Google and Facebook and you'll easily track them down 👍🏻

Would the rabid prototypes work on a spirit Halloween pack if modded?
Potentially...
The blue bargraph on the pack and yellow one on the thrower would be too big, however.
it can just replace the wand with a full size wand one and get then get metal v hook for pack and wand so you can hook it up
Nice work! I'm curious as to how you modified your Party mode playlist; I have some tunes from RGB that I converted to the WAV file format that Shawn at Rabid Prototypes suggested, but my kit wouldn't play them. How did you manage it?
Hi Eric,
The files need to be in a specific format and audio configuration. There's a readme file on the SD card that came with the kit with the details. I used the free software called Audacity to modify and convert the files 👍

Another question: is it possible to increase the capacity to include more than 15 tracks?
@@MasterExacerbator - I have over 40 tracks on mine. If you load more than 15 the bargraph just starts again at the bottom for 'page 2'.
