Recently bought the kit based on your review and had no idea there's a slime tether function on the red switch. The kit has everything you need plus you're also able to replace every sound to your liking. Very happy with it 😁
Wow, for all that functionality this pack is incredibly clean on the inside. Super impressive. I had just come to terms with the fact that to have cool features you’re bound to have a rats nest inside.. awesome work my dude
Thanks for this video! I'm in a couple of the FB groups and I've been very on the fience about what kit to use. Mostly because I wanted to use my Spengler Wand in the mix. Ninjatunes has Afterlife sound fonts I think so maybe I just build a new wand and keep the Spengler for a shelf queen.
That's a similar path to the one I took. Actually, the Spengler wand was my motivator to build a pack in the first place. But I ended up building my own when I actually got to it, because it was less complicated than integrating the Spengler one
I see some people use two small speakers over a 5x7 or 6x9 in their pack, I have wondered if I could install a small tweeter somewhere. What is preffered for speaker size
Hello, I just bought a spirit life size pack, what did you use for the lights and soun kit use used and do you have a step by step on hoe to install at all?
Can you add the ninja kit to the Hasbro proton pack also using the Hasbro wand do you have to remove all the insides of Hasbro Neutron wand and the proton pack as well and install the new kits to make the ninja kit work , how would you get the cables Hasbro wand through the proton pack there's no opening in the Hasbro want any information would help thank you
You COULD install a full NJT kit into the haslab. However, I would recommend contacting Konstantinos directly first because I believe he has another version of his kit that is specifically designed to work with the haslab pack. There's a link to his Facebook group in the video description.
My NinjaTunes kit is arriving in 2-3 weeks. Can you guide me to some place where I could get those 3D printed mounting brackets and such? The ones I find are for the main back plate, but I'd like to install most things into the shell and not on the backplate. Also, what's the speaker model and size? Thanks in advance!
The files to mount them to the shell side are also in the q pack files. I don't remember where, but I promise they're in there. The speaker is a 6.5 inch Kicker. There's an amazon link to it somewhere further down in the comments. There's a whole thread about the speaker. It's a little spendy but it's sooooo worth it
Does anyone have these sound files? I have the GBFans files. I ended up getting that soundboard because I already had their light board and wand kit. I am obsessed with the NinjaTunes “start up” sound. It’s so unique. And I’ve looked for a version of it everywhere. Is there anyplace I would be able to find just that sound?
Out of curiosity, is it at all possible for the pack to go straight into 'movie mode' when you flip the red ion switch, like the startup sequence in the elevator? Or is that standby sequence necessary?
Yeah, you would just need to flip the wand activate switch on first. If the wand activate switch is already in the on position when you flip the red switch, it'll fire on like in the elevator scene
Hello I'm just curious is your whole shell 3d printed? Anyways just asking because i have a ben of kent pack and am curious how everything is going to be installed when my kit arrives and when i have to do the install. Thank you very much and your pack is looking great thanks for sharing.🙂👍✌️
Yes, mine is all 3d printed. It should actually install a little easier into a BOK shells. I have to follow specific wire channels for mine. Your's will give you a bit more freedom. My one recommendation would be to not over build your wand until you have the kit in hand. The wand almost needs to be built around the electronics kit. You'll see what I mean when you start to assemble it
Amazing work! I'm very interested in the Ninja Tunes soundboard. Particularly the startup sound. Is that from the GB game? Every other board, and videos of Ninja Tunes boards others have posted online all have the similar "Move Startup" sound. This one is slightly different and so much cooler and sleeker. Is that standard, or an upgrade to the sound files?
I believe I have the latest version of the NJT kit. This is the third kit I've bought from him. My buddy still has the old one and there are a few differences. He tends to upgrade them gradually, so each generation is a little better than the ones that came before. He does offer support to customers with older kits though. The last version didn't support the flash bulb in the tip, but my friend contacted him and got him completely hooked up with the new wand board for it and only charged him for shipping. Great guy to work with. I believe that start up sound is standard
Contact him through his Facebook group. The link is in the description. He is very responsive. He will message you back directly. If this is the kit you want, then you want the og kit. He has other kits for haslab and few other options. He'll work with you to make sure you get the right things for your needs. Very cool dude to work with
This particular kit is not compatible, but he does have a haslab version. You'll need to contact Ninjatunes2001 directly for more information on that kit. Link to his information in the description
I used one of these. They're a little spendy, but sound AMAZING! These are an upgrade over the ones I used for my first pack. They have a great low end response, crystal clear, audio. Great for party mode. I believe this is the speaker Konstantinos is now recommending because of my feedback to him about it. When I first installed it, I asked him if he improved the amp on the latest kits because it sounded that much better. He told me that he didn't change anything and that it was just from having a better speaker KICKER CSC65 CS Series 6.5 Inch... www.amazon.com/dp/B07NS7NZLX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Currently have a gbfans kit in my setup but I have thought about switching over to a ninjatunes setup eventually. The switch configurations and not having to access the board to switch between movie and game mode is really nice on the ninjatunes. What car speaker do you use with your setup?
I am using a Kicker 6.5" speaker. A little spendy as I was only able to find them as a set. The best situation would be to find someone to split the set with...or you can PM me and buy my other one if you're interested. $30 plus shipping Kicker 46CSC654 Car Audio 6 1/2" Coaxial Full Range Stereo Speakers Pair CSC65 a.co/d/j0IIZAS
This would fit a haslab pack with some modifications and you would need to probably build a wand. I don't what your skill level is for modding, but it could totally be done. And yes, there is an Afterlife option. It requires an extra board for the Ninjatunes kit and an LED ring from Amazon. If you're looking to use the Spengler wand, you may want to look into the GBFANS kit instead. I'm not an expert on that kit, but I know it has an interface available for the Spengler wand. If that's the route you want to go, I would join the gbfans Facebook group and ask some questions. Like I said, my knowledge on that kit is limited All that said, I'd build a new wand and use this kit with the Afterlife add on
hello! i was hesitant on getting into electronics work, but you’ve made this a little less scary. with that being said, i have a couple of questions. can this kit be installed into the Hasbro Neutrona Wand? do you think the electronics would be able to fit into the Haslab Proton Pack?
Yes it would be able to fit in the haslab pack, but I really don't think it would be able to interface with the Spengler wand's existing electronics. I know people have done it with the gbfans kit, but I don't have any personal knowledge of what's involved. The NJT kit is a bit better than the gbfans kit as far as features, but I think the gbfans kit has more modular options. Honestly, if it were me, I would just build a wand instead of using the Spengler one. It's a cool shelf piece but it doesn't look as good or feel as good in hand as one of my printed ones. I understand building isn't for everybody though. If you want to try and use the Spengler wand, I would look into the gbfans kit.
Since you're showing off your incomplete pack build I would love to see how the speak is properly mounted and both sides of the motherboard. do you have a hole cut out or speaker grills?
The hole is cut out for the speaker. One nice thing about the 3d printed pack is that it has .dxt files for motherboards with precut speaker holes of various sizes. In the negative space from the speaker hole, they cut in the metal ribbon cable clamps. So you basically get those for free with the motherboard. You just send the file to a company called 'sendcutsend' and about a week later, you have your motherboard with predrilled mounting holes and precut speaker hole. But yes, the speaker is mounted in a cut out and the exposed side faces my lower back. Here's a link to my first proton build. The last two pictures in the gallery have close ups of the speaker setup photos.app.goo.gl/8PNcB5MWxDK4gtNy9
Thank you so much nick. Yah I already ordered my motherboard unfortunately I don’t think any of the pre-existing files had my speaker size (5.25” I believe). And if I knew what those clamps were I may have took a chance at it anyway damn! That’s a bonus deal! I’ll most likely drill my own holes. I just wasn’t sure if it’s okay to bolt the speakers right against the board or if I need something in between
@@jonogunn It should be fine. Just make sure you use the motherboard/alice frame spacers. There's plentiful of room with the gap. You can even mount the talentcell in that space
Technically you're right, but if I'm being honest, I almost never use movie mode. When you're out at an event, you wanna show off the smoke effect, so it pretty much stays in TVG mode. I wouldn't call that a deal breaker lol
