This is the kind of video that i want to watch..classic series land rover..standard set up..do so classic offroading and greenlaning trip together... Love it so much.. greetings from Indonesia
Only in a Series Land Rover it's just simply a way of life. They're the true workhorse of the world. Both my Series 1 88 diesel, and my 1965 station wagon 109 diesel are still going strong after all the years. No matter what I asked of them, they always worked. BTW I'm the proud original owner of both. They're a part of the family. Greetings from Florida USA.
Brilliant, thank you for bringing us on the adventure with you it looked like a lot of fun. Have my Series 3 109" ex mod canvas tilt for over a year now and still haven't been for an off-road day out.
@@BlaineRepko bringing the Landy for a run this week up the Blackstairs mountains and Mount Leinster, Wicklow/Wexford area Southern Ireland might find a few cross country lanes. A 20 km run out.
Looks like you all had a good time. I keep wanting to take my series 3 off road but after a complete rebuild I’m struggling to get dirt on it. One day!!! 🙂👍

Land Rovers are a joy to drive off road, even if it's just a little dirt lane somewhere. Hope you can get out soon.

The CD groan is highlight note of LR. Clutch and Brake hydraulics always a suspect.
Americans please note. No 35"s , no lift kits, no locking differentials. Off road driving the way it used to be done in the 1980s. 😊
Homie in the blue LWB needs to know what "giver the beans" means lol

One of our guys did a complete rebuild too, he's careful but he still has fun.
The Series sounds awesome!!! Original 2.25 5mb?
Later ones where 5 bearing, the 88” ones most likely 3 bearing tho but the 109 could be 5 bearing
Americans never seem to fully understand our old Land Rovers??? 🤔 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸
Love my Landy.
Still a lot to figure out when it comes to fixing them 🙂
Some of us do. Please don't generalize. I own three and love them. '57 Series I, '66 Safari Wagon, '71 ex-MOD 1-ton 109 IIa.
@@stewartmarshall4112 Sounds like you have a sample from all the great eras. My favorites, anyway.
