Wow that was a top 10 baseball card video for 2018!! Several of the cards I have never herd of. I look forward to your next top 10 list.
Haha well, thanks. Yeah, I would love to pick up a few of these. Most are way out of my price range though.
Very interesting twist on a Top Ten list! To see many of my favorites check out “greatbaseballcards ” on Instagram.
topps85401 that's the cool thing about collecting baseball cards there's so many cards and so many players that you always find something new
Its heard
crazy that these errors make a bill ripken valuable
I loved the whole thing....I'm more impressed by all the PSA 10's and crazy high grades on vintage. :)
GREAT LIST, EXPLANATION OF EACH CARD AS WHY IT IS VALUABLE AND SO VERY SHORT PRINTED IS PRETTY MUCH RIGHT ON. GREAT JOB!
Amazing video man! I enjoyed it a lot. A lot of knowledge shared here. I think some of the best card videos on youtube are made right here! Nicely done!
Thanks man!
That's a trip how you do the special effect of the card on the stand. Great video. Very informative.
Keep it up bro your presentation and explanation is something iv never seen wow. Keep on showing different cards from all sports we all wish we all had very nice. Thank You
Great video! Crazy to think that the 2006 Alex Gordon has gone up so much!!
Cool video. At first I thought these were going to be in your collection, but I saw what you did there. 😉 Those were some pretty neat details you gave us on why the cards are so rare.
One of the best videos I’ve seen in awhile! I really need to step up my game! Great content and mostly tidbits I didn’t know. Well done
Haha thanks man!
These are fantastic. Great information and your passion to find it shows.
passion is always the key
Interesting video man, thanks for putting it together!
Awesome stuff brother!! I saw this pop up in my feed a couple weeks ago and couldn't wait to watch it!! Worth the wait!!! Alex Gordon?!?! That's crazy...just looked on ebay and that card goes for some money! Thanks for sharing!!
Awesome cards, video & content. I also thank thee for all...
oh wow! ive got the Nap Lajoie, Honus Wagner and Bill Ripken FF error (uncovered)! super interested in landing a few of the other T-206 cards from this video!

Very interesting video. Appreciate all the information as I was not aware of a lot of the cards. Thanks for sharing.
Good List. Thanks for Posting it.
Very informative video, great job.
Incredible video man. Thanks for the info!! 🎙🍳
Sweet video! Very informative on the players... Thank you!
Awesome video bro, very cool and educational.
Cool video. Nice collection of odd rare cards. I ran a card shop from 1993-2000. Pulled 2000 UD Legends Michael Jordan auto patch #23/23. 2001 UD SP Authentic Mystery Cuts Babe Ruth Auto Cut #1/2. Two 2001 A. Pujols Bowman Chrome Autos #/500 just to name a few good ones..😀
Im so hyped I stumbled across this channel
cool list. thanks for sharing this list.
Those are awesome cards man, very impressive 👍 awesome stories, I like stories behind the card.
Nice video. Thank you for the information.
Nice job! I am 56 and have messed around with cards since I was in Little League. Some of the stories behind the cards were new to me. Thanks (subscribed to your channel today)
Glad you liked it, thanks for watching!
Awesome break down of these cards
I’ve owned a few of these cards in past collections, but my favorite will always be the Billy Ripken Fuck Face error card.
Totally...awesome...video!! Loved it.
Great concept 4 a video!
There's 5 Billy RIPKEN variants,I have the square card,I'm looking for the other 5,now,2020
Yes I have a Billy Ripkin card, along with many others, which one were you looking for if you haven't found it yet!?
Other than the Donruss Canseco rookie, Billy Ripken’s Fuck Face card was definitely at the top of my list of favorite cards!!
Great video!
Thanks!
Lindstrom is the pimp card there. id have included 1945-46 Caramelo Deportivo Napoleon Reyes. fantastic well done list. And thank you for saying Lajoie correctly.
Wow! Crazy amount of information I never knew about. Great vid as usual man!
Excellent video!
Nice video. I would have split this into two vids...one for the vintage cards that 99.99% of us would have never seen or owned, and a top 20 for the ones of modern day that mostly are own-able.
Honorable Mentions: Dale Murphy Rev Neg, Frank Thomas NNOF and Billy Ripken White Line! Great video Sir
Yeah those are great honorable mentions. I had the Thomas NNOF listed. Thanks for watching!
Yes dale murphy card should be top 10 for sure
beautiful cards man....love the frank thomas.....i recently bought me a ff billy ripken...not graded though....great video
funny purchase
Great video! Hope you caught the last two episodes of Double D Card Talks on error cards. We talked about some of these cards. One episode was on my channel and the other on Dustin Bellinger's.
I'll definitely check it out. I love error cards. Actually my first video on RUclips about 5 years was about error cards
Absolutely fantastic video! Thank you for sharing.
Alex Gordon is still playing and he's a 3 time All Star. I think he panned out pretty well.
Very true. What I mean is he hasn't fully lived up to the hype. Even Alex Gordon has admitted in an interview that when he retires he'll be remembered more for his rookie card that is play on the field. Still, overall he's no scrub that's for sure. Thanks for watching.
U got me at first I'm like no way he has these in that grade....lol great job!!
Ha, yeah you'd be surprised by all the comments I get asking how I can afford all these cards.
Awesome video! Great information and a ton of fun. Little harsh on A;ex Gordon though, I wouldn't say he never panned out, 3 time all-star and a core member of a World Series winning team, clearly not a hall of famer but a super solid career.
Very true. I guess I meant to say he didn't fully live up to the ridiculous call-up hype. Most players don't though. Even Alex Gordon recently said he could be remembered more for his rookie card than his career.
Cool vid bud!
Awesome cards!
Great job keep up the great work i hit the bell and button
This is good, original content. I don't even collect baseball cards, but this was very interesting and informative.
Thanks!
@@DeadGuyCardboard :D
Honestly though, with how small cards are, I can only imagine how many cards were accidentally or purposely thrown away.
Great stories . My gramps used to play catch with Ted Williams and catch balls for him when he hit
Wow, that's really cool!
would've been nice to hear an estimated value or a "last sold price" per card.. cool video.. I knew who #1 would be, but the others were good to hear about.
good point i want to know too
dude your card collection is sweet!......GIVE THEM TO ME
Billy Ripken also had a hole punched variations!
Also a saw cut
Also solid, I own one card but gonna make a top 10 about cards that you shouldn't own and I dont got 9 of em either video
What an impressive set
Funny to see where McD's got the Monopoly game idea.
I pulled that F face card out of a pack! One of the best packs I have ever ripped!
Have the Ripken cards with and without the black box.
My buddy's dad had the number 1 card. He had a relatively small but rare collection.
Just like how Upperdeck made more Griffey rc cards lost their MLB license.
Maybe someone already mentioned this, but you missed one version of the Billy Ripken card. There's also a version where Fleer tried to destroy the remaining cards and literally took a saw to the cards that they pulled from vendors. Some of the employee's at Fleer (or wherever they tried to destroy the cards) stole some of these cards that have a line sawed out of the card. I forgot the number of cards smuggled out but it's a pretty cool history of this card.
Good point, I didn't mention the sawcut version. There's also other slightly variations of the black scribble as well.
@@DeadGuyCardboard check out www.billyripken.com there's many variations I had no idea were out there.
@@tampahomeinvestorsllc7559 Yeah I've seen that website. It's great. I didn't want to include every variation for this video or it would have been a really long video. I showed just the major ones that the grading companies designate.
great list buddy some crazy short runs on these iconic goofs...do you happen to own any of them?
Passion 4 Cards just the bill Ripken card that I didn’t photoshop in. Would love to pick up a few of the more attainable ones
The real story behind the Bill Ripken card is funny.
Nice gems
Have a R300 Andrews.
Prized, for sure.
Thanks. The Old Time Cards were Legit. The Modern Day Error Cards were Crap....Done just for the Mighty $$$$$$$
No one ever seems to mention the Roger Maris Yankees card from the 1967 set. Only a few were snuck out of the printing plant by employees. All are blank backed. I have heard the pop is definitely less then 20 with the low end being 8 copies. I owned one of the cards back in the 80's. Too bad I sold it.
1989 Fleer Bill Ripken FF Error (pop 4,568 is a very uncommon card value is next to one cent, randy Johnson 89 fleer is error and some are very rare
is the purple hat Griffey upper deck rookie a real thing? if so explain
Are you familiar with the skybox cards at all ❓
I do know they are rising in price, especially certain ones,I have a whole set ‼️❤️
Alex Gordon never panned out?? Really? He may not be an A Rod but he did in fact "pan out"
In the baseball card collecting world he didn't. Average - solid players don't have any value.
I know I had the opposite card of the Barry Bonds when I was a kid..... Picture was Barry Bonds, but the name was Johnny Ray....... I can't for the life of me find it....... Has anyone else seen that version?
I might have that exact card actually
Billy ripkens three repair cards box with curly cue most expensive
Just found out I have a topps Alex Gordon rookie card #297, what should I do?
A big one of the junk era was the 1989 William the Fridge Perry Pro Set card.
That would make the football list maybe this list is baseball specific.
@@klandersen42 yep, totally forgot it is just baseball.
@@klandersen42 There are still a few missing here like the reverse Dale Murphy UD card. Some of those go for big money.
Wait... what? Are those your cards???? A Plank 7. A Wagner!!!! Fantastic cards. WOW!!!!!!!
No they are superimposed on screen. Only the Ripken is mine.
Haha... nicely done!!!!
Great video
I love that it's called FF error. No real error. dude was called f*ck face, used his own bat
No he didnt have his bat or something and took one and as a joke for his teamates and him he wrote that not planning on taking pictures im pretty sure
LMAO
I had a card of Tory Hunter the was never intended for public release. I have forgot what the card was or the year but I did own it for a bit and sold it for $350 bucks
Nice!
Good video I have couple thousands baseball cards from 1959 to 1976 from long time hide that is the reazon I keeping look your videos to see if someting canning out hit my colección I have several from Bond and Thomas and 100 more great baseball player as well as football and basketball so I keeping Washing your wedside may be one day I will hit the Jack pot in the mind time keeping doing more great player vidio
Thanks for watching!
I wonder what the combined value of this list would be in 2022
Whats the population on a 1993 Bowman foil Russ Davis rookie card#342 on the front and Tyrone Hill #368 on the back?
I have a question, do you know anything about the set of 1991 conlon collection, that was actually never released, I have the set and it says it was never released!?
I also have the whole set of skybox cards and alot of diamond kings etc, does anyone know what is selling good on ebay right now, I have some graded cards of Barry Bonds, Greg Maddux,Ken Griffey Jr
It was actually released. Unopened sets go for about $10.
@@benschneider2976 ok but I don't understand, there is two different kinds
Great content. As an FYI, Napoleon Lajoie is pronounced LA-JOY
Thanks for watching. I pronounced his name right. Dig around and you’ll see that’s how is name is pronounced.
“Alex Gordon never panned out” bruh what. 3 time all star 6 time gold Glover 2 World Series appearances and 1 World Series win
He didn’t pan out proportionate to his hype, no.
@@akallstar5 He did fine. Was a 36.4 bWAR player, which is only 2 behind Harold Baines, who is a Hall of Fame player (He doesn't deserve to be one, but it is what it is). That's a fine career for the #2 overall draft pick. Not historic, but fine. He panned out.
I have the last one OMG
1987 Topps Andres Thomas should be on the list.
Lajoie...my whole life I pronounced it “La-Joy”TY for correcting my mistake!!!
I have the Frank Thomas no name
Should say current value of these cards!
Look it up. Pretty easy to find
Didn’t that Wagner used to be John Rogers card?? You can watch him go down on American Greed tonight.
I think you're right. Great eye.
Very interesting video Dave. Very well done. Interesting you have the iconic fuck face card. Lol.
2 words: holy crap
Do you have that honus Wagner card?
Nope. I don't have most of the cards in this video. That's why they magically appear aka photoshop. Thanks for watching!
I have the Alex Gordon card.Got it slabbed a PSA 10.
No one cares
Casimir relax
Shane Ricketts I am relaxed lol, letting you know no one cares
@@Jckuz1man 🤦
Linda Townsend 🤩
T-206 Ty cobb with the ty Cobb back should be on the list.
That card was never a stealth insert or a brand that wasn't supposed to be released. It's a very rare card, but it's not rare as a result of being pulled early in production. It just never had a big production to begin with.
Allot of information great video don't you love errors
I wouldnt stop u from giving me one. But in all seriousness i love ur videos and this one is awesome
You and me both. I don't own most of those. The magic of photoshop.
Dead Guy Cardboard yep lol, i just recently got into collecting, a little late ik, i started a few months ago and my best one is a 71’ Topps Pete Rose. My grandpa is huge into collecting so he gave me it. In close to mint condition
Alex Gordon really never panned out? Do you watch baseball? 3x all star 6x golden gloves 1x golden spikes 2015 world series winner and he has been a starting mlb player for 11 years lol wtf
You're like the 5th person to make this comment. I meant that he didn't pan out relative to the hype. He had Acuna and Harper-like hype coming into the league. He's a fine a player, but not quite the caliber people were expecting.
On my Bill"card has a number 3.
I have that ted willams
