Justin W Honestly I can see where Sam was upset. Wether the pregnancy was legitimate or not it’s still his feelings and when feelings get hurt emotions fly. Different things affect different people different ways. But I agree with Cullen too. Sam shouldn’t have done it in such a public setting while Cullen had his child. Both sides are right in their own respects you just have to put yourself in other peoples shoes.
I hope Nia is not in an abusive/controlling relationship. It is so hard to get out. I thought they were both fakes when I saw their videos, but now I'm rethinking it. I think maybe Nia is just scared to death for herself and her kids. Sam is a narcissistic sociopath, imo.
I have honestly thought about this too. I wouldn't be shocked to find out she was in an abusive relationship because he displays so many qualities that a perpetrator would have. I pray for Nia no matter what her situation is because she does seem like a sweet person who didn't ask for all this drama her husband has caused.

I've watched Sam & Nia for awhile and I've defended them in comments but it just seems like it's one thing after another...I'm just starting to notice Sam does have something "high & mighty" about him & just doesn't seem complexity genuine anymore. Of course this is just my opinion from the short videos they post but he does give off a vibe I'm not comfortable with anymore. Nia on the other hand seems like such a pure kind-hearted person so I can't imagine how she's feeling. I think its absolutely disgusting that these brainwashed Sam and Nia viewers on here are saying Cullen disrespected them in regards to a miscarriage. Considering Cullen and Katie have had 2 miscarriages they are both extremely sensitive and kind to others going through the same thing. Sam tweeted about how much subscribers and fame their "unborn child" was giving them. Someone tweeted saying it was messed up of him to say that because now thats just attention seeking, and rather suspicious how they lost the child afterwards. Cullen simply agreed with the person tweeted about how it was messed up of Sam to say that. Which in my mind it definitely was. It is also messed up that Sam approached Cullen over that and started a huge issue over favouriting a fucking tweet. Cullen and Katie are the most genuine, loving youtubers I have come across. I will defend them if its justified because I love them.
They lost a child, and as fellow vloggers you should have been supportive of them even if that means not criticizing their grieving process. It helps them to try to see the good in an awful situation, and that's not unhealthy or wrong. It's unkind and immature of you to dismiss the issue because it was just a silly "tweet." You're clearly frustrated that they have twice the subscribers that you do in half the time (I would be too), and that's obviously the reason you favorited that tweet. You shouldn't have let your immature jealousy influence your actions to lash out at a family going through so much, and Sam shouldn't have let his anger and pain influence his actions to scare or threaten anyone. The tweet they favorited wasn't anything doing with not supporting them in a miscarriage. The tweet was made by Sam how happy they are that their unborn baby brought them so many views and subscribers. And Cullen favorited someone saying it ip that was messed up thing to say... Why would you rave about monetary gain from such a terrible experience like losing a child. Cullen understands what that feels like and maybe he felt that the original tweet was inappropriate.

There have been numerous doctors that have chimed in saying it is impossible to get a positive pregnancy test when the urine has been taken from the toilet. Ugh. It takes two to argue, as the saying goes. I feel like Sam was trying to take responsibility for his poor choice, which he acknowledged as not being the wisest decision. He said he was wrong. I believe he genuinely feels awful for what happened. I appreciated that he shared his vlogging response from immediately after they had been told to leave Vloggerfair. His emotions were honest and I could tell he was still upset, both with his behavior and everything that has been happening of late. As vloggers, you know the importance of controlling your public persona. All vloggers edit videos to put them in the best light possible. Sam has had that ability discompassionately taken from him. I could sense his frustration and angst; this on top of the fact that he felt a need to own his choices in personal life. And he acknowledged his wife was mad at him, too. It was not an enjoyable thing to witness. These are not the types of things vloggers want the public to be privy to, and yet he put it out there. It is not the first time he has apologized for saying or doing something. That is one of the things I really like about them both; they are honest and open. I am appreciative that you two were willing to be so as well. I realize Sam is the one who instigated the confrontation, but Cullen, could you not have chosen your own response more wisely? I feel like both of you were in the wrong. Why did you "favorite" a tweet that was condescending towards Sam and Nia? Why couldn't you just give him the answer? I want that for everyone. My family and I have enjoyed following along with you guys and all the other beautiful families on RUclips. Family vloggers take some special risks in putting themselves out there. I hope you all will be able and willing to protect each other's backs as a result of what has happened.

I think both sides of the story sound basically the same and both parties are acting immature. sam should've probably left it be, but men are very protective of their families, and Cullen should've not blasted them on twitter and now made this video when names were not mentioned in sam and nia's video. One side is apologizing and admitting to doing something dumb, and the other side isn't owning up to anything...

Sam made it a bigger deal than it really was. approaching someone with a baby in their arms, at a family event like that was not the answer and very immature, and he could have private messaged Cullen 2 WEEKS AGO, when it happened if it was really that big of a deal, instead of making all this public drama.
No there were many retweets and talk all over his page since all this had happened that include other vloggers like dailybumps, and there is a comment on this very video from sam and jennika rubbing salt in the wound as well. I'm not diehard fans of either party and am new to both channels, but I can easily see why sam and nia are feeling ganged up on. These little jabs are exactly what cyber bullying is. They were getting all kinds of laughs and jabs on twitter. It's all there to see. Cullen also admits in this video that he said "do u wanna start shit?" which was the first aggressive words that were used
I saw the tweet that Sam himself said he was approaching Cullen about retweeting, the whole ordeal between Sam and Cullen was over the fact that Cullen retweeted the tweet that TribeTyler did. Sam never needed to approach Cullen about that situation at a family event with a child in his arms, as I said already.I personally would feel the same way Cullen did also if I had my child in my arms and was approached like he was. We all have our opinions, But Sam took this way to far in mine.
Well I think, like my original post stated, that they're both in the wrong. Cullen did something that made sam feel protective of his family just like Cullen felt protective when sam approached him. They're both acting immature. I think Cullen would've reacted the same way about the tweet. The way he reacted to sam approaching him proves that IMO. Again new to both channels so no bias for either side and I still see it that way
I have watched Cullen and Katie for over 2 years now, and I can say that if the roles were reversed, I don't feel Cullen would have approached some one in a public family event like Sam did, and did it privately, so the drama did not go public like the rest of Sam's drama has already been put out there.

Yes, they have a lot of family issues that they need to fix, but to continue to belittle people instead of helping them isn't right either. Should Sam have confronted Cullen? Probably not. But he has the right. I'm just more disappointed that pride wasn't put on the shelf and a civil conversation couldn't happen. Cullen threw the first aggressive jab. Him holding MG is irrelevant unless Sam got physical which he never did and you agree. You have been through loss and know the pain. I would also feel betrayed if someone agreed with a comment mocking the way I grieve the loss of my child. Maybe they're glad to have more people a part of their extended RUclips family? Who knows? I agree that it was inappropriate, etc., but it was unnecessary to favorite a tweet about how someone is choosing to grieve over their miscarriage, knowing that person might see it. I would assume he meant to say how much their unborn child has brought them such great things to their lives without even being in the world yet. Sam is a guy with huge anger management issues that are still continuing. Only a month or so ago there was the issue of the police Officer who called to ask him to stop using the drone in his neighbourhood to respect his neighbours. He said the neighbor complained but that Sam was handling it legally, and was well within his rights to fly it in the neighborhood. As long as he wasn't flying it up to the neighbors' windows and filming inside their homes, which he does not. When you're in the public eye it's extremely unprofessional to approach someone at a public event that you're a part of when they're holding they're child. He should not have brought it up. And in Sams video he was playing the victim card when he started the fuss. It's only fair he was kicked out.
Would there be any way ya'll could somehow talk it out and maybe once everyone is more collected things can be mended? I hate that that happened. I understand your side for sure. I just feel like Sam is spiraling down and even he said he's an emotional wreck right now. He might be so emotional that he's having trouble even remembering the facts. I'm not taking sides. A few of my fav family vloggers have been accused of being scammers and fakers (the others I will not name) for a while now. This is such an unfortunate incident: are people forgetting we're all human?

This whole situation is very saddening bc I see pics of all of the people involved on Sam and Nia's Instagram where they'd all been friends, or at least cordial and nice to each other in the past. Now I'm seeing them all band together and practically bully Sam and Nia. I've seen comments from one of them saying "I'm going to have to change my name now" bc they share the same name as Sam. They're poking fun at the situation and just perpetuating it. I've unfollowed a majority of them bc I just feel at this point they're all being very high school-ish and I feel they're being malicious. However, that's why we can't put our faith into people bc no matter what religion someone is they'll always let us down. It's the nature of the beast. This whole situation saddens me though bc here you have someone who is going through probably the most difficult time of his life. He just lost a baby, had to explain to the whole world what he had done 2 years ago, and lost control of his emotions at Vlogger Fair... and rather than someone trying to be the bigger person and saying "hey man, I know you're going through a lot, can I be there for you somehow?"... they just twist the knife further. Sam has repeatedly said he has a goal to become famous. IMO that's really vague and it shows how fame hungry he is. And when his video went viral, he wouldn't shut up about it and he acted like it was the best thing ever (meanwhile, Nia was supposedly carrying his child, and most excitement, if not all, was about the millions of views). I don't know 100% but I think Katie and Cullen started youtube ages ago to document their "journey to baby" because they had struggled to have Gaines. They had two miscarriages before having her. Also to share their lives with family. Sam just comes off as really shady.
I mean if you favorite a tweet your basically taking a side in the situation and letting it be known that "hey I like or agree with this statement." So obviously Sam is going to take offense by that. And also the way Cullen handled it was not very well at all. If there's nothing to hide then what was the need for getting so defensive? I think its absolutely disgusting that these brainwashed Sam and Nia viewers on here are saying Cullen disrespected them in regards to a miscarriage. Someone tweeted saying it was messed up of him to say that because now thats just attention seeking, and rather suspicious how they lost the child afterwards. No one is excusing Sam's behaviour (not even himself)--he's been apologizing quite a bit lately. The tweet was made by Sam how happy they are that their unborn baby brought them so many views and subscribers. And Cullen favorited someone saying it ip that was messed up thing to say... Why would you rave about monetary gain from such a terrible experience like losing a child. Cullen understands what that feels like and maybe he felt that the original tweet was inappropriate.

There have been numerous doctors that have chimed in saying it is impossible to get a positive pregnancy test when the urine has been taken from the toilet. Lets say they were pregnant there is no body out there that is going to say pretty much thank god I had this miscarriage because had we not miscarried then we wouldn't get all these subscribers. I feel like Sam was trying to take responsibility for his poor choice, which he acknowledged as not being the wisest decision. He said he was wrong. I believe he genuinely feels awful for what happened. I appreciated that he shared his vlogging response from immediately after they had been told to leave Vloggerfair. His emotions were honest and I could tell he was still upset, both with his behavior and everything that has been happening of late. As vloggers, you know the importance of controlling your public persona. All vloggers edit videos to put them in the best light possible. Sam has had that ability discompassionately taken from him. I could sense his frustration and angst; this on top of the fact that he felt a need to own his choices in personal life. And he acknowledged his wife was mad at him, too. It was not an enjoyable thing to witness. These are not the types of things vloggers want the public to be privy to, and yet he put it out there. It is not the first time he has apologized for saying or doing something. That is one of the things I really like about them both; they are honest and open. I am appreciative that you two were willing to be so as well.

Our culture seems to be so far immersed in making fun of others and belittling them, especially when they are at their lowest, that no one seems to think it is wrong anymore. It is cyberbullying, though I know no one wants to acknowledge it as such. It's easier to justify our words when we cocoon them in a shield of 'it's my opinion and I'm entitled to it.' We are each guilty of this. Have we not had enough lessons on the connections between suicide and bullying?

I think both sides of the story sound basically the same and both parties are acting immature. sam should've probably left it be, but men are very protective of their families, and Cullen should've not blasted them on twitter and now made this video when names were not mentioned in sam and nia's video. I saw the tweet that Sam himself said he was approaching Cullen about retweeting, the whole ordeal between Sam and Cullen was over the fact that Cullen retweeted the tweet that TribeTyler did. Sam never needed to approach Cullen about that situation at a family event with a child in his arms, as I said already.I personally would feel the same way Cullen did also if I had my child in my arms and was approached like he was. It's unfortunate that TWO Christian vloggers couldn't resolve things in a peaceful, amicable way. Should Cullen have favorited the tweet? Probably not. But he has the right. Should Sam have confronted Cullen? Probably not. But he has the right. I'm just more disappointed that pride wasn't put on the shelf and a civil conversation couldn't happen. ESPECIALLY considering the positive history between the two families. That's what blows my mind. The facts you point out, don't change my opinion of the situation at all. Wrongs were committed on both sides of the issue.
What's important now is that we still need to support each other. Some healing needs to happen on all sides. We will certainly be praying for you both!

If they didn’t want people to know about the drama then why did they post a video about it with enough detail for followers of these vloggers to find out who was involved? I would assume he meant to say how much their unborn child has brought them such great things to their lives without even being in the world yet. People can twist the way any text into many ways because its text. its hard to convey emotions through text. He said the neighbor complained but that Sam was handling it legally, and was well within his rights to fly it in the neighborhood. As long as he wasn't flying it up to the neighbors' windows and filming inside their homes, which he does not. Sam wasn't mad, he was hurt that the neighbors couldn't just come and talk to him about it. The one thing Sam doesn't have, is anger management issues. -lol

Especially since Cullen and Katie have been through two miscarriages? This was not about losing a child but about bragging that you got more viewers from it. Cullen and Katie are two very honest and open vloggers and ifyou can not say it was wrong that sam confronted him like that over something two weeks old with Macy Gaines in his arms then maybe you need to think about that. Katie even says when Cullen was confronted he probably didn't even remember favoriting the specific tweet, he favorites a lot of tweets if you look at his Twitter account. Sam didn't tell him which specific tweet he was talking about and while Cullen might have had a vague idea of what he was talking about he had every right to say "cause I can". That is a valid answer, you would assume that Sam could just leave it at that and realize he was not going to get the response he wanted from Cullen. Sam is feeling under attack. He's acting out inappropriately because of all that has been going on in the last couple weeks. I feel sorry for them :( It's not an excuse for acting the way he did. Wrong time wrong place for all of that drama. Cullen probably should have just walked away from the situation, but Sam shouldn't have approached him in the first place. Two dads protecting what's most important to them. But like I said, wrong time wrong place.

I'm very confused about these hate comments about this video. First of all Sam told his side of the story they have a right to tell their side. Whether you believe the stuff with Sam or not that's beside the point. When you're in the public eye it's extremely unprofessional to approach someone at a public event that you're a part of when they're holding they're child. He should not have brought it up. And in Sams video he was playing the victim card when he started the fuss. It's only fair he was kicked out.
Would there be any way ya'll could somehow talk it out and maybe once everyone is more collected things can be mended? I hate that that happened. I understand your side for sure. I just feel like Sam is spiraling down and even he said he's an emotional wreck right now. He might be so emotional that he's having trouble even remembering the facts. I'm not taking sides. I agree meyersmedley. It's come to a point where fellow vloggers are hating on each now. Where is the sense of community? A few of my fav family vloggers have been accused of being scammers and fakers (the others I will not name) for a while now. This is such an unfortunate incident: are people forgetting we're all human?

This whole situation is very saddening bc I see pics of all of the people involved on Sam and Nia's Instagram where they'd all been friends, or at least cordial and nice to each other in the past. Now I'm seeing them all band together and practically bully Sam and Nia. I've seen comments from one of them saying "I'm going to have to change my name now" bc they share the same name as Sam. They're poking fun at the situation and just perpetuating it. I've unfollowed a majority of them bc I just feel at this point they're all being very high school-ish and I feel they're being malicious. Sam made bad choices and is going through a lot and instead of seeing if he's ok or being the bigger person they just all keep twisting the knife in deeper. However, that's why we can't put our faith into people bc no matter what religion someone is they'll always let us down. It's the nature of the beast. This whole situation saddens me though bc here you have someone who is going through probably the most difficult time of his life. He just lost a baby, had to explain to the whole world what he had done 2 years ago, and lost control of his emotions at Vlogger Fair... and rather than someone trying to be the bigger person and saying "hey man, I know you're going through a lot, can I be there for you somehow?"... they just twist the knife further. It's not right. I'm not saying what Sam did at Vlogger Fair is right, but he said he was very apologetic for it and had tears in his eyes. In Sam's video he says that he made a stupid decision by doing it. He also says he regrets it. They are both nice people and Sam just lost his temper because they were going through a lot. Sam has repeatedly said he has a goal to become famous. IMO that's really vague and it shows how fame hungry he is. And when his video went viral, he wouldn't shut up about it and he acted like it was the best thing ever (meanwhile, Nia was supposedly carrying his child, and most excitement, if not all, was about the millions of views).
I don't know 100% but I think Katie and Cullen started youtube ages ago to document their "journey to baby" because they had struggled to have Gaines. They had two miscarriages before having her. Also to share their lives with family.

Then again Sam is in the wrong for approaching you in a such a way and in public, it could have easily been resolved privately. This video is very biased in that everyone perceives things differently, so what she might have been seen as "negative/aggressive body language" might not have been that way at all. So instead of making videos trying to "state facts that were left out," how about you just move on from the situation because obviously this video is only going to bring even more attention to the matter...
