I feel like the main difference in the 2nd leg was Haaland. Its seemed like peps main strat was to use Haaland as a magnet to allow others to get into open space. Every time he was near the ball he had 2-3 Madrid players at any point in time, which makes sense due to how lethal he is but the versatility of the City team really doesnt rely solely on Haaland masterclasses. Although he didnt score, he was incredibly influential this game

      The historic treble awaits them..........
When Germany had that generation of great players I said to a German friend just B4 the 2014 WC, but you need to win something to cement the team in history, this CITY team has already cemented their names in the PL's all time greatest teams, to then win the CL & thus the treble, it's legendary status!
But honestly tonight made me sadder about loosing the title to this awesome team, because we didn't even need to beat them (they beat us home/away), to pip them to the title, ultimately we lost to ourselves.

The way their toyed with a great MU team, PL champions, in those CL finals, was highly impressive.
Their 3 magicians of Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, jusr meserised teams, hypnotised them to defeat with pass.pass, pass, goal.
I expect them to win the treble to cement their place in footballing history.
I expect the Ai-Viking, after having a new year bedding in with his teamates and his first PL season under his belt, to ht another 35+ goals next season too.

What rankles enormously with me as an Arsenal fan, we could have/should have won the title this year, despite loosing to them both home & away.

If they win the final, it will catapult them to win this champions league competition often. I make favourites to win it next season as well. As an England fan, it’s fantastic seeing English players in that team gain further experience and dismantle Real Madrid. If England don’t win the Euros with the talent of Stones, Walker and others, it will be unforgivable of Southgate.

LOL SAF brought many youths from the academy and brought up many teens into the starting line up during his tenure. Sure, they also splashed the cash, but it was cash they gained from the global brand they built from winning. Not from cash some middle eastern prince suddenly injected into the establishment. And before you say, "Oh but we haven't been spending like that lately," that's because now it's actually regulated and you don't need to spend like that anymore. But when the new owners first took over, they spent so much money. Now they're being investigated, rightly so. Anyone could do that if they had unlimited oil money. I respect Newcastle so much for that reason. They're not going the Man City route. They could easily be throwing silly money around at everyone but they're not. They actually have diginity.

Let's see what he does with the city club over the next several seasons, but one thing is certain: he won't be running away with the title if all of the teams in the Premier title recruit well, and Manchester United is bought out by Qatar. There will be at least four clubs competing for the title, and Real Madrid might win the UCL next season if they add Bellingham, Mbappe, a backup striker, RB, LB, and CDM.
One thing I am certain of is that this City team cannot be allowed to dominate the Premier League and the Champions League because they wont stop
