I sure enjoyed this update. Tons of work Mike! I need to hit you up on the top 5 (or so) paints and ground cover items that you like to use. I need to make an order and "just do it" lol. 👍👌👏
Another exciting update again Mike! the new hillside came together nicely and looks great! Thanks for sharing - it's always inspirational watching how you work and how easy you make it look! Cheers from Melbourne, Austyralia...
Thanks Mike another great job. As for myself I'm fixing a broken wire on he home layout (no big deal). I'm also re-doing the scenery on one of the club T-trak mods-a chore but will be worth it.
I have only two with the back of the structure facing the operating side. I'm slowly adding little details of what I imagine a backyard might have in it. A picnic table or maybe a little garden. Fencing always looks good. Of course, if yours are for businesses, then the detail would change. Just my thoughts.
Hi ya Mike. That new mountain is a great scenic break. Blends right in. Great progress made. Enjoyable episode. Question…..I believe you kneel on the foam while working on the surrounding terrain, what do you use to prevent creating divots with your knees? Weird question I know. But curious. See ya next time.
Hey Mike, great update. The hill is looking great. I'm always amazed at how easy you make it look. I can't wait to see it with the new arrangement of the buildings.
Good progress. I only got to see Indy Highlights. Watched my first Indy at ten. Road the bus into downtown Seattle to the Paramount Theater and watched the race on the big screen, Black and White, 1964
Hi Mike, it’s looking great so far!!! Did I miss a video on how you stained your tracks? I really like that for going into a yard or industrial area, really looks good. Hope all is well with you and yours. Ron
Mike Is your oil drilling rig an truck mounted or a stand-up affair? If it is a stand-up or steel tower the joints of drill pipe are nominally 30' and a stand of drill string 3 is joints or about 90' long. The crown block which near the top of the drilling mast (used as a pulley to pull and insert the drill string) is above the drill string. Therefore from the rig floor to the top of the drilling mast is typically 120-130' or so. If you are cutting down the height of your drilling rig make the height according to the protype. Of course you can make the drilling mast shorter, this is after all your layout.
Sono molto contento per te che il tuo plastico con i nuovi lavori sta venendo un ottimo lavoro ma il restauro del pikap è finito se cosi mandami delle foto sono molto curioso😊😊

I only did that to do the very back and the track. I can reach this portion without getting up.
In earlier videos, when he did the ranch (update 52 & 53), you can see he had a piece of plywood he knelled on.

Put the buildings on the other side of the road. Use that as a lot for trucks to deliver grain.

Thank you for the kind words, Ron. The track staining is a wash of thinned black acrylic with a little alcohol in it. I apply it with a 1" brush.

I am cutting them down for perspective .
