    I saw a hammerhead shark yawn at an aquarium a while back and it was one of the most fascinating things I've ever witnessed. I didn't realize non-mammals could do that.

      I'll guess we'll never know if they are bored, or just showing a display of threats - fascinating though!

    I have loved sharks for almost 30 years and they still amaze me. Such a beautiful and misunderstood animal that needs to be protected. Swimming with even 1 Great White would be heaven for me

      @@deltaslibrary8177 so pleased that we’ve been able to answer Curious’s question on sharks yawning!! 🦈🥱
      Sadly spiders aren’t my strong point! Other than being bitten by one, I know nothing about them!?
      Good question though! Do spiders yawn?? I’d love to know if you do find out!!!

    It's a sign of aggression. This isn't some big mystery is it?

    • @BlackMantaPhotography
      @BlackMantaPhotography  3 года назад

      I guess not everyone is a shark expert. Sign of aggression is definitely one of the suspected theories...

      @sgallagher27 2 года назад

      @@BlackMantaPhotography it's not a theory, it's been demonstrated as a way of warning other white sharks/would be threats/predators to get away or else.
