Te deseo lo mejor Jona Giraldez desde San Sebastián -Donostia. Que la nueva singladura que inicias en el Spirit sea tan exitosa como la de Barcelona. Ánimo gallego.

The best part of this is this: of all the professional sports in Washington, the Spirit clearly have the best, most involved, most visionary owner. My daughter is low key idolizing her and is plotting how to get Michelle's autograph.

Wow! Jonathan Giraldez is a young man that I can see . Just a few words from him but I can see the difference about this coach.
He already won first game by beating Gotham in NY in a fantastic fashion!!!

Weird. Nobody seems to be able to realizing what the arrival of Jonathan means to the future of USA’s women’s soccer. It is just PHENOMENAL! Washing Spirit will be next Barcelona! USA women’s national team will be rebuilt on top of Washington Spirit. USA women’s soccer team will dominate the world!

I still wonder why the US men team doesn’t get over the hump even they’ve tried? The US women have success many times over but the men still lack behind. For that I agree with you, the US women have talent. For now they need to close the gap internationally as the transition youngsters gearing up to speed and skills!!!
    Go team USA!!!🌹⚽️🇺🇸👍🤩

Leave it to a woman owner to get it right and hire a proven coach with a vision that can change the style of play here in America. Those DC players are soooo lucky!

What makes you think the US needs to change their style of play?

@@mosijahi3096 I've been watching lots of European play, way ahead in style, attack, movement of ball. Emma has said the same thing. The US needs to catch up, her words, not mine. I think that is why you see all these new american faces on the squad, American players that play abroad, Albert, Fisel, the Dutch American.

Quién iba decir que los eu necesitan a un entrenador que habla español a ver porqué no se burlan de su acento
Muchos hispanos y latinos les hacían bulling por no hablar inglés ni el mejor del mundo Messi habla inglés por algo será

I wouldn’t take everything coaches say in a press conference to be true, she needs to say what she said, she’s fattening frogs for snakes, do you think she would take this job if she really felt the US was so much behind in talent, she goes to the US because she believes the US has the best over all talent in the world, that’s no to say the Spain or other teams don’t have talent , US as a country has more, like it are not, this is not the US men’s team so don’t get the two confused.
