- Join me for a 30 minute Standing Pilates functional workout to get your body moving for 2024. Taught live this routine will strengthen the legs, hips, glutes and core, release a tight back and give your body and mind a postivity boost. A perfect session for all ages and a great routine to condition the body, just do what you can. as there will be some balance challenges to it! Dear Rachel, I am a bit "younger" just 47. But I wouldn't believe that I can be sweaty standing on a mat. It was challenging, I have been doing pilates for more than two years - well, still beginner 😊. Thank you.
Struggling a bit with this one now Rachel I’ve noticed my balance has not been so good recently but do what I can. I am aware that balance does deteriorate the older we become but I am careful. I also eat within an 8hr window! 🤗🌻🌠

Thank you so much for posting this wonderful workout ❤....it stretches every part of my body. It's not easy but it feels so good. I was having very sharp left-side back pain, it all melted away just after 12 minutes in. Thank you again ❤

Now I tried this one, not directly addressing seniors, so it was a challenge (I am 73). Phew, easy it was not! 🤪But I enjoyed it, noticing very well where the weak points are. As always, thank you Rachel.

Great workout but found the balancing very difficult. I'm 75 and do the senior workouts but this one wad a challenge!!

Hey Rachel that was a challenge! I will come back to this one when my energy is up again I found it hard at times but I do wobble a little but I have noticed this in the last year as I climb towards the big 80. As long as I can I will continue my Pilates with dear Rachel x 🌻🌼

Wow I am a senior and this was the hardest one yet!!! I thought I had been doing quite well but today I was all out of sorts. Defiesee my weak spots and Balance balance issues!!!

I remember this being tough, wanted a standing, cardio session for today, decided to repeat this one. It was still challenging for balance, but I held the table edge when needed to avoid falling - doable but tough!🥵 good stuff to work on my balance deficits.😊❤

Loved this. Due to a foot injury, i adapted a couple moves based on prior standing routines and could do about 80% without adaptation and got a nice sweat going. Another fantastic standing routine. Thank you so much Rachel.

I believe the second exercise you did was different from one side to the other. Thanks so much. It was very hard for me but I think I need to keep repeating it until I am able to master the ones that are very hard for me.

This one was tough on my arthritic knees, so my dips were shallower than yours, Rachel. Nonetheless it got my heart rate up and worked most all those muscles.

Did most of them using a chair back for balance as my damaged ankle and pronating feet just dont do balance well. I figure Its better I get some movement rather than not do it at all.

Thanks for sharing and yes, it's really good to get some movement in, movement will strengthen the foot and ankle muscles, this session in particular had a lot of foot, ankle and lower leg strengthening in so really well done. Keep using the chair until you feel ready to try without xxx

Try drinking the ACV through a straw to help keep the acid away from your teeth (but rinse out too).
It was very difficult for me, particularly the balance excersices
