Well , it is a fascinating one . It’s worth the time.
Jeeze how many bullets do they think a gun holds. Still the you lady in the stripy top is worth watching .. did this win the Oscar for best special effects and over acting. 🤔 that and the small detail that a 747 cannot fly none stop from the US to oz.. .lowering the flaps and landing gear increases drag making the engines work harder, thus using more fuel. What a genius 👏. And to this day the pilot is still on the plane waiting for his stretcher. Gotta love these filums. .
I agree....the poor pilot was left behind with his rescuer!!!

I loved how the Army construction crew kept giving an experienced pilot (Sabato) instructions about how to fly the plane. Still, it was an entertaining movie
@Bill Marcontell I felt the same way, yet it was a good movie overall....it kept my interest plus I'm not a big cable TV guy.
Not only that, but the construction crew consisted of just three men, each with their own mini digger, including the captain.
It keeps getting better...the construction crew didn't know they had a big pile of rok in the way until they went to clear the last 100 yards.

i loved it. it's so entertaining. actors are all attractive, even villain’s parts as well, LOL.
it's funny, a lot of US movies, there is a pattern that hero and heroin have bad terms at first, but at the end they become close after getting through some trouble together.
When you got the bad guy incapacitated, you don't tie him up - you put a bullet into some non-vital spot like both biceps to give him something to think about, THEN tie him up.
The passengers on board were too innocent to think like that I would imagine. :)
Definitely got what he deserved in the end...a baddie.

I wondered myself. But I'm thinking it wasn't safe to move the captain. So of course the med student stayed with him. But usually in a crash everyone has so get of in case of fire... Anyway your guess is probably better than mine.
We were all supposed to assume they were getting the stretcher for the captain I guess😂

All that shooting on a plane at higher altitude? Obviously the script writer never learnt about the explosive nature of rapid depressurisation.
Or writing the baddies should be shooting at targets, as most of their bullets ended in bulkheads and panels.
Must have been a couple of hundred shots and just one fatality.
Should have named the film _Parting with Reality._

@@billyandrew - Only a complete fucking idiot would fire a gun at anything whilst in a pressurised aircraft unless he wanted to commit suicide. One miss would go straight through the side and an instantaneous decompression explosion would follow and take anyone near it.
I was thinking the same
@@billyandrew most of the panels they were shooting at were lightweight aluminum honeycomb panels. Bullets would go right thru them.

I like how the "flight attendants" have to change into terrorist garb because otherwise viewers (and passengers) wouldn't be able to figure out that these are the bad guys.
And into such a terrible fashion style, and the hair, the «hole» in that tank top ( jeez female have som standards).
The real attandants were killed inside their houses and the other one in a car crash. Terrible
How the hell did they get the guns inside? The ground service person will also be the terrorist too. Lol
