Milan Stankovic will be representing Serbia in Eurovision 2010 with this song "Ovo je Balkan". The song has been composed by the famous Serbian composer Goran Bregovic, and written by Marina Tucakovic & Ljiljana Jorgovanovic. They are hoping to secure a place in the Eurovision final to bring Serbia their second victory since their debut in 2007.

The LJ Hetalia event brought me here. I'm American and I don't understand anything that he's saying, but I think I'm in love. XD It's awesome how he makes it traditional looking, but the song has a twist of modern pop transfused into it very closely. It sounds very cool!

listening to this made me realised once more,how when seing the bigger picture our differences seem to fade. im not much of a folkclore scholar, but to me, if the guy wasnt singing in serbian, this could have easily passed as romanian, from the music to the costumes it looks romanian to me...
