Hello Kate, I'm a new subbie and I wanted to let you know how much you have inspired me to pick up my needles and crochet hooks again. Thank you so much for sharing your work with others. I found out about your channel thru Rachel who I have watched for 4 years now.
Lovely as usual Kate. I have a sore bicep after crocheting with fabric! Need to loosen tension I’m thinking but so much fun. Carol 🩷
Hi Carol! I am so excited to hear that you are sharing the pleasure and pain as well! It's so much fun isn't it! I hope your week is going well...no Green Door this week, so lots of chatting to my RUclips friends! 😊❤🧡💛💚💙
You're a treasure Kate...loving those "pop' colour bags. I was making along in your video, not a bag but more crochet flowers, inspired by the colours of said bag. And doing my own thing with the design of flowers as I wanted more colours and petals though not quite sure of a pattern, I made it up and discovered delightfully that if I poke my hook into somewhere, keep it the same pattern, you arrive at a flower to your liking. I am itching to get tearing fabric now to make some yarn for these oh so gorgeous unique rag bags. You are so very appreciated Dear Kate, be well and thanks for your wonderful channel of creativity. 💖
O Andrea, I LOVE that you are designing your own flowers - it is so much fun isn't! I'm exactly the same - I start out, and then think, let's try something over here....sending many blessings my friend. You are a special subbie always. Best wishes, Kate❤🧡💛💚💙
Your pouches and bags are beautiful! I love the idea of using an embroidered piece like you have for the lining.
Thank you so much Sharon. I do have to admit that I'm addicted to these at the moment. And yes, I think the idea of some embroideries will add some charm too. I hope you are having a wonderful week. Bestest wishes, Kate 😊😊😊
@@kateinthenest Yes, I love making bags with t shirt yarn & they crochet so fast. I never really know exactly how they will turn out. I guess you saw the comment from the lady I met at an estate sale in Texas, and recommended your channel to her. I really appreciated her letting me know it was me that she met & she loves your channel, too.
Aaaah thanks Kate. I should be editing my video right now but enjoy watching yours too much! X
Hello Missy! Can't wait to watch once you're done - your bag is wonderful! 😊❤❤
How wide are your strips? Thank you . I have made rugs before but the bags are cool! I will join you!❤❤❤❤
Hi Sheila! I was told about 1.5cm for light cotton. I tend to tear mine bigger than that....not by choice, just the way it comes out because I'm too lazy to measure! I hope you are well. Lots of wishes for some fun making ahead for you. Sincerely, Kate ❤🧡💛💚💙
