Love this type of content man, I've got a 1985 suzuki DR600 that I am rebuilding, similar engine though a lot more mileage (30k miles) and the previous owner destroyed everything he touched - including cylinder head, cam chain, valves, barrel, etc! ah well, keeps me busy. Cheers
Hello sir teally great job. Is it possible to rebuild replace piston rings without removing engine from frame? XL600r PD03. 1983 black engine. I have oil coming from engine breather… works ok startup ok but split oil… Thank you sir Anyonis
You cannot get the valve cover off with the engine in the frame. What you can try is to unbolt the engine and lean it out the side, but I think it will be very difficult to take the head and cylinder off. I’d recommend taking it out. Best of luck!
Great job!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks man!

Right on! You’ll appreciate your bike so much more more after rebuilding it. Take your time and do it right!
