It is indeed the last Final Fantasy to be released on this console, but certainly also the last very good RPG on this console. Imho Kuja should be placed higher. He's one of the only characters that are actually able to do some serious damage even if the whole party has auto-reflect on.
Also I think the friendly Yan should be mentioned. If you attack him instead of giving him the diamond he asks, I seem to recall that he's pretty badass lol
weird i did beat ff9 many times and kuja was always a an easy fight i always had trouble with the final boss and his different statu attack
I just finished my fourth run a couple days ago and for the first time I tried to complete EVERYTHING (and managed to do so, a part from a couple chests, jumping 1000times and some ATE), this to say that I found Kuja to be one of the hardest to survive to while trying to steal all of his shit haha :)
Hadn’t had any trouble in actually beating him, but I may have gotten there with a 96 average lvl party lol
@@JackZ__ maybe thats cause u always use steal , believe it or not i finished all ff games many times and i rarely used steal on any boss i hate that move xD except when sometimes that boss have one of genji armor sets then im really interested
Leon Tarek hahaha yeah that’s what I was talking about. I hate losing time trying to steal, just like you (sometimes you have to CURE the enemies so they don’t die before you got everything), but this time I wanted to do a run as perfect as I could and stealing items helps learning abilities earlier in the game and it’s fundamental for Gidan’s last ability (dunno the English name since I’m Italian hehe)
So yeah, if I didn’t “have” to steal, I’d agree with your list :)
@@deltarek1534 Zidane is a thief, stealing is his jam. I get a strong aladdin vibe from him. Replaying it again on Xbox one x right now.

More harder than ff4 version
1. Ozma; 2. Necron; 3. Hades; 4. Kuja trance; 5. Quale
I defeated many bosses in FF games , but ozma for me was the hardest for me for how surprising the fight was even he doesn't have that much hp

You dont even need to worry about Beatrix you lose anyways But Ark, I spent 2 mounths fighting and finally beat him.
Man I wish they bring ark back in future final fantasy games
I always say Beatrix is literally unbeatable because you never actually beat her. She just gets annoyed with how weak the main characters are and does her strongest attack to end the battle.
I know XD but you can lose in that battle
@@deltarek1534 True, you can lose, but you also don't have to bother attacking beatrix because she cuts all your HP down to 1 and then the fight immediately ends after a certain amount of time no matter what, so the most important strategy is to keep zidane alive and try to steal as much stuff from beatrix as you can before she ends the fight. Not really a proper "boss" imo.
ARK and Beatrix are really easy,there were much harder bosses.
Some people have different experience with the same bosses

Ozma is the hardest one 😂
It's super unpredictable I found it super hard to fight
