Man I wish I knew this dudes name or he had an Instagram account for this RUclips channel. Seems like he’s not using this channel anymore but I want to thank him for the absurd amount of knowledge he pours into this channel and the dedication. How can you be this good!!
If a pump is deemed to be slightly oversized. What operators do is get a butterfly valve installed and throttle it. There are various reasons why it can oversized. Such as the engineer being overly cautious, or considering prospect of expansion ie pump will be more loaded in a future scenario.
Here's a good explanation from the pump manufacturer perspective on how pumps are selected and pump curves are read: ruclips.net/video/fiJeOLkLV5I/видео.html

I must say, this is one of the best explanation. Thank you
This was a very thorough and easy to understand explanation. Super helpful for me at work! Thank you!!
It helped me a lot for my turbomachinery midterm, thank you!!!
Very good explanation. Thank you!
Thank you. At 7:29 if i have one hose and gauge, would I take the psi reading from the outlet , then inlet and add them together?
شكرا جزيلا لمجهودكم الممتاز
how does suction head work into this? with a higher pressure at suction, you get better discharge flow..

From the curve it shows that head is against the flow and if we need to increase the flow we need to add more head ?
Do you offer some video training?
How pump head curve changed by viscosity changed & how pump vendor accomodate it while running the pump only with water?
Great job!!! Thanks a lot.
Nice video
Effect on amps with wear ring or casing ring wear down...?
cool video
I can't find this next video
Good job, thanks.
