Kindness should be a sign of ultimate success for our species. We have the ability, the intelligence and the resources to make the very real decision to be kind. Very few animals have the physical, mental and emotional ability to be kind, and even less have the ability to be kind by their own choice and for no gain often. I am 30 now, and still can't believe it. It is easier once you realize that no one is your problem either, as sad as that sounds. All we can do is our best, whether others agree with it or not 😮💨
It's ok Danny, I wish people would have more empathy to though. Totally random but there's an article saying that reading drama or tragedy books gives people empathy, we learned this in school. And honestly I read a lot and I can relate to a lot of people I read about so...reading is actually useful ✨🌝✨

Bb..... No..... There's a saying here in the south: Common sense ain't that common. And it's true. Sense. Decency. Empathy. Morality. Justice. All either flagrantly ignored or bastardized to fit some agenda. Humanity is a plague. We poison everything we touch. We hate each other for stupid reasons and fight each other over things that aren't even anyone's business. Like crabs in a barrel, we're constantly crawling over each other, stomping one another back down so that we can move up, dragging other people down with us when they try to move ahead. And the ones that *do* manage to get ahead? Well they either get taken and consumed or knocked back down by the ones *keeping us* in that barrel. It doesn't even matter who is at the top of the pile, because the ones in charge won't ever let us out. It doesn't matter who is in charge, because they all want the same things. *Their* power. *Their* money. And they'll say whatever they have to say to get it and keep us crabs in the barrel. Fighting each other instead of them. And it's going to keep getting worse before it *ever* gets better. Or maybe I'm just depressed. Idfk.
Speaking as someone who has written nearly the exact thing you just posted a number of times in the past; I suspect you're probably both depressed and also some combination of traumatized and neurodivergent. (I'm AuDHD with chronic dysthymia complicated by intermittent major depression and cPTSD. If you sound like my blog posts, you're probably not doing great.)

Tbf, people's lives are all so different that common sence is one of the most subjective things ever. I remember one time in school my friends made fun of me because I didn't know a super common football fact, but then one of them asked me if Rome was in France 😂 But yes many ppl lack (not so) common empathy...
I don't remember where I found it, but this reminds me of a quote "don't assume malice, assume ignorance" lacking empathy is definitely evil though, like what the heck
I dont have common sense. I have some of it, like dont put a pot handle facing towards you when ur cooking, but not much of the rest. I promise, it's cuz my (shite) parents believed that it was SO common, they didnt even need to explain it to a fresh-made human. Lack of guidance and education.
Sorry, nerding out here. There's a scientist who wrote an article on moral constructs and principals who said there are multiple levels of morality people reach throughout their life. I can't remember what all of them are, but it starts out with simple things like the ability to share to things like discovering self and having your own principles and beliefs. And what they discovered was that people in like stage 3 or whatever are literally NOT ABLE to comprehend stage 4 and beyond. They literally can't even understand it. So many people are out there who can't even understand why we do what we do or why we believe what we believe because they genuinely do not have the moral development to understand believing things for yourself and not just because someone told you to. (Genuinely terrified that this might cause a war or something so if you disagree please be nice about it)
I thought everyone has a least abit of common sense growing up. Now that im older, it's so much clearer why there are warning labels on OBVIOUS dangers
The day of the election, my dad hugged me for the first time in such a long time and said “I’m sorry. He won”. He may be kind of an asshole but even he doesn’t want his only child’s rights to be taken away. Even my father who I am terrified of, who has done some AWFUL shit has a little empathy.
Yeah, if there is one thing to take away from the past week, it's that humans are inherently selfish. And if you want them to do something for you, you gotta appeal to that selfishness.
Unfortunately it seems that most people are content to ignore a problem until it’s their house on fire. Then they’ll actually get off of their asses and do something, and the problem might actually get solved. But by then the damage will have been done. And then they do the same shit again next time. Actually trying to prevent a problem before it causes harm seems to be an alien concept to most people.
The problem is so many people in the generations above us grew and decided they didn’t have to teach common sense to their kids because « it’s common sense they should know this » while forgetting that their parents teaching them all the same thing is why it was common sense. Common sense can’t exist without common knowledge and no one is actually teaching or learning common knowledge 😭
My bad, for believing in the best in people, my bad for trusting they’ll make the right decision, or at least learn from their mistakes and won’t repeat history. *MY. FREAKING. BAD*
I feel like tbh the main reason it feels like common sense isn’t so common is bc like- what counts as “common sense” kinda changes by what you believe(?) idk maybe im reading into it too much (like for example a transphobe(☹️👎) might think its “common sense” to say that gender and sex are the same thing or a Christian(☹️👎 pt 2) might think that believing in god is common sense) orp I just ranted a paragraph my bad oomfs
I gave up hope in humanity long ago, but am choosing to still power through with basic empathy. They made be incompetent assholes who have no respect for others, but K ain’t giving them the satisfaction.

I am 30 now, and still can't believe it. It is easier once you realize that no one is your problem either, as sad as that sounds. All we can do is our best, whether others agree with it or not 😮💨
You thought people were good because you are. We love you. We appreciate your heart.
It's like a video game when you find out only 50% of players have the achievement for just opening the game
"You're a good kid" unlike SOME people, I have unfucking common sense and EMPATHY
I was just angrily crying again - this was needed to bring back a spark of energy 🤣💙
Istg we need a reset on humanity because what the hell is even going on anymore
It's ok Danny, I wish people would have more empathy to though. Totally random but there's an article saying that reading drama or tragedy books gives people empathy, we learned this in school. And honestly I read a lot and I can relate to a lot of people I read about so...reading is actually useful ✨🌝✨
I was in a hell of an echochamber. I was so sure everyone was decent.
As someone who genuinely doesn't believe in the goodness of people, because life, and I lost that belief along the way...hold onto it with all you have. It gets very dark when you constantly expect the worst of people. Stay positive and hopeful as long as you can. ❤
Bb.....
Individuals are great. People are scared, panicky animals.
Sorry don't read this comment if you don't want to but it's a rant about how one of my teachers needs to learn sympathy
I was in the middle of class and got so overwhelmed with things going on in my life and started crying and this lady literally said AND I QUOTE "stop wasting my time with your tears" I AM ABOUT TO FLIP MY DANG LID ON HER this lady is a teacher of emotional and hormonal teenagers in highschool she needs to learn basic f**king sympathy
Even people without empathy have commonsense, they just choose to not follow it because fuck it we ball.
Really scared of how future generations will turn out. I wish I could hug everyone who needs it here and for them to be safe 🫂
“Hey bro what you pull for sense”
“Rare”
“Oh shucks sorry dude.”
“What you get?”
“Only the bestest rarity ever!”
“What”
“Dirt Sense!”
*how do I tell him*
this just fully encapsulates my mindset for the past week
Tbf, people's lives are all so different that common sence is one of the most subjective things ever. I remember one time in school my friends made fun of me because I didn't know a super common football fact, but then one of them asked me if Rome was in France 😂
But yes many ppl lack (not so) common empathy...
Danny has literally just described my most recent mindset perfectly 💔
I don't remember where I found it, but this reminds me of a quote "don't assume malice, assume ignorance"
lacking empathy is definitely evil though, like what the heck
Cary harder. You are insane like the rest of them in your country 😂
"I should've just assumed the worst of people"
You didn't assume that!?
Yeah, it's your fault.
I lost faith in humans when I was 15
I love it when Magats try and say that the left has no empathy or say we're "brainwashed".
Every accusation is a confession.
I've never even played Just Dance 2014, I played 2016 along with Dance Central 3 and Dance Party TV.
Alright, how many people watched this and said "real'
I also had hope and thought I’d be safe after the election, oh how wrong I was..
Me who never played just dance 2014
dawg we need mythic sense at this point it is getting less common by the hour 😭
I dont have common sense. I have some of it, like dont put a pot handle facing towards you when ur cooking, but not much of the rest. I promise, it's cuz my (shite) parents believed that it was SO common, they didnt even need to explain it to a fresh-made human. Lack of guidance and education.
Dang i remember just dance 2014 so clearly with my parents yelling at my bothers 😶🌫️you hit a nerve there.... Lol
Nah cus Danny is spitting facts with this one
(Genuinely terrified that this might cause a war or something so if you disagree please be nice about it)
Yeah it's cool. My brother and I figured this out after his father tried to drown him in a pool. Common sense is rare and so is empathy apparently.
Buhu lmao
You're the Just Dance 2014 to my Pac-Man on the Atari 2600, 1987
The Just Dance triggered so many memories, holy sh!t-
Edit: Even better if you played it on the wii
I thought everyone has a least abit of common sense growing up. Now that im older, it's so much clearer why there are warning labels on OBVIOUS dangers
The day of the election, my dad hugged me for the first time in such a long time and said “I’m sorry. He won”. He may be kind of an asshole but even he doesn’t want his only child’s rights to be taken away. Even my father who I am terrified of, who has done some AWFUL shit has a little empathy.
That’s what I’ve been sayin’! The solution, is trust issues!
Humans are sinners.
And the majority of us have no self control whatsoever.
Empathy?! That sounds lile SOCIALISM!!!
Hi Danny!
I can so relate man, and that's why we have trauma 😭. It'll get better girllyy pop😊.
Hi
danny was a legendary birth pull, he has the best sense.
he has abundant sense
😂
This is me every time I wake up and remember November 5th
My bad, for believing in the best in people,
my bad for trusting they’ll make the right decision, or at least learn from their mistakes and won’t repeat history.
*MY. FREAKING. BAD*
Us hyper-aware people are outnumbered in this world. The sooner we realize that humans are self-centered at their core, the sooner we can heal. 😅
Yeah my faith in humanity plummeted after the election. Silly me for thinking people had empathy or cared about anyone but themselves. 😞
Some people never get common things, rich people.
I gave up hope in humanity long ago, but am choosing to still power through with basic empathy. They made be incompetent assholes who have no respect for others, but K ain’t giving them the satisfaction.
This went straight onto a YT playlist I made for vids just like this: “irritated that this is relatable” 😅
Assume the worst in everyone and you’ll never be let down again 🙃
Found that shit out too at mid twenties. Your meter gets better.
You've Unlocked the final stage in the Becoming an Adult Achievement. This was a final Boss.
