If you do a full album, it should be one of: Good Apollo, In Keeping Secrets or Afterman Deluxe. Ten Speed is the song that changed my mind on Coheed back in like 2006, so Good Apollo would be awesome.
2113 is for a very acquired taste. You'd need to listen to the entire second stage turbine blade album before you can get into that one. Its one of my favorite coheed songs.
A full album would be awesome! I would suggest Good Apollo or The Afterman: Descension. I would also suggest The Willing Well I-4. It's a 4 song Prog Masterpiece! Also all their albums follow a similar formula of more poppy metal type songs and then a set of proggy songs to end the album.
Gravity's Union (The Afterman: Descension) would be an amazing reaction. Josh goes absolutely bananas on the drums, also extremely groovy and heavy all the way through. I think as a composition it's one of their strongest songs. Also, +1 for a Good Apollo IV reaction, I would happily pay to watch you listen to the flow of that album. It's such a solid progressive-rock/alt-rock album and a favorite of many fans. If you see yourself doing more full album reactions it may be worthwhile to start at the beginning to see the band's growth over time.
You 100% need to do a full album. Coheed is an exceptional band and just insanely talented. I would love to see Afterman Deluxe in full, but I will say, Vaxis 2 is my favorite album. I think it's perfect start to finish. The last song A Window Of The Waking Mind is just insane.
Pleaaaase do the full album In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3. or Good Apollo Volume 1. Those are their best albums imo but tbh the rest arent far behind. Based on your comments i highly doubt you would be dissatisfied with any of their albums. I like In Keeping Secrets because i think the music/story were both at their best. i may be biased though because that was the first full album i heard from them.
tbh you should check all of their discography out, ESPECIALLY the first story arc. I'm a production nitpicker too and their first album, though rougher of course, is still very, very palatable (don't try their Shabutie era though: now that's ROUGH). Thing about Vaxis (for me at least) is that the songs are either too simple or overly complex for no reason (I also don't feel as attached to the overarching story as I was with The Amory Wars). This song is one of the few from those albums that I consistently go back, and it still took me a while to get into because of how complex the composition is. After that very odd intro/interlude (already a hurdle for "catchiness") the song is just a blurry ball of music. It definitely needs a few spins before it starts to shine (That belt in? before? the chorus is very cool tho, I love it).
Great reaction as always!
Coheed is just ridiculously good. They are also the best live band I've ever heard in my life... and I've heard a lot.

Coheed is amazing.
“21:13” is so good but yeah you need to know the melodic call backs.!

To be fair if you're gonna do one Afterman album you might as well do both. All one story together and all that jazz.
yeah a reaction to the Willing Well songs would be great. I love a lot of their music but Willing Well is peak.
@@FullMetalSpartan19 Yeah that would be the best but I figured he probably wouldn't want to do a double album so I picked my favorite
