Thank you all for following along this incredible journey! It was an honor to share this story with you. Riding the GDMBR was a dream come true, and it didn't disappoint. I'm curious to hear about your favorite moment from the ride.
@@duzer Did you send the bike back for a post-ride complete evaluation by engineers? That is about as much abuse as anyone is likely to give this new model.
@@pedrofernandez8729 Pedro, that is a great observation! I would like to know what the post GDMBR assessment of the 600X is also. I am seriously looking at getting one as well. A sizable investment, for sure. I figure it would last me the rest of my life.
Europe has awesome wildlife areas! I haven’t seen much just one trail in Austria and a few in France but it’s all there. You just have to go looking! One I know now is Fontainebleau on the outskirts of Paris
A quick search across the internet will quickly tell you otherwise. You have astonishing nature and wilderness spread across Europe, you just have to look for it. Putting it from your perspective almost makes Europe - and subsequent countries - seem like a no man's land.
Tonight when I rode my bike, l enjoyed an uphill for the first time. I’ve always dreaded uphills before, but seeing you and Kevin, I’m learning to appreciate them.
Hey Ryan, let me tell you something, again.. I was wrong. After 25 episodes, not the best divide series, but the best outdoors series ever. Perfect. And you did it.. you made the world better. Thank you.
This was one of my favorite TV series of 2020, and definitely my favorite outdoor/adventure series. I've passed the links on to many of my friends here in Europe so that they can see the real America, and some authentic Americana.
Great series for so many reasons. Nature, the people, cinematography, the bike you were riding, Physical challenges, but most of all for because of you Ryan. You are a good soul. May you never have any crashies, flatties, whammies, in your life. Peace my brother. DanMac
Thank you Ryan, Kevin, Dana, John and Mira, for all the love, inspiration, and positivity that y'all bring into this world, and for all the hard work that goes into bringing us along for the ride. So many beautiful places and people! Although I'm sad to see your ride come to an early pause (I know you'll be back!), I appreciate your respect to the state of New Mexico in their efforts to contain this virus. Take care and stay safe. Looking forward to the next adventure!
Congrats to John for raising such a great dog, Mira. Thank you Ryan for this project, I've been sharing it. So many times it's brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart.
I truly appreciate that, I do! It was a magical experience for me as well, and to be able to share it was a huge honor. Stay tuned my friend...there will be another adventure down the road
RVD, Thank you so much for bringing us all along on this fantastic adventure. What an amazing journey. I truly appreciate your attitude and the respect, gratitude and energy you bring to this world. All the Best.
I'm so honored to experience this journey even months later! Thank you for sharing, for loving, for inspiring. And for puting the work in to edit and shoot and share. Now if the snow and slush would just get out of Minnesota so I can ride this bike as far as I can go. Looking forward to adventures to come (and adventures past!).
What a gift to humanity. Thank you Ryan for this heartfelt series. You have helped change my perspective on this “divide.” Perhaps both the political divide that separates us as well as the physical ride are more approachable than I previously thought. You are a breath of fresh air. No whammies!
You should be very proud of what you've put together here Ryan. Such an amazing trip that captured the beauty of both the landscapes and the people you met along the way. I'd love to see you come here and do a bike adventure with John and Mira through the Canadian Rockies.
Thanks for taking all of us on this incredible Journey Ryan. I've watched every episode and enjoyed every second of it. Thanks for sharing, always look forward for the next upload. Very thankful for your time putting it all together.
GREAT SERIES!! you definitely inspired me to ride my bike. I’ve been mountain biking for almost 3 years now. Starting to take on gravel riding. I set a goal to ride 41 miles on my 41st birthday in October....CRUSHED IT!! I have a goal in mind for 2021....maybe a century ride!?! Thank you for the great videos, inspiration and for taking us along. J
Wow, Ryan--what an epic adventure! Loved every minute of it. You are an amazing athlete/biker, videographer/photographer and story teller. The way your weave that all together into these video productions is like nothing else I have seen on RUclips. I am 61 years old, have been mountain biking for 27 years. I love to backpack too (including on the Colorado Trail!), but never thought of putting the two things together until I started watching your series. Now, after being inspired by you (and your amigos) a hiking buddy and I are planning to ride the GDMBR from Whitefish to Frisco (near your brother) next summer! We are on the pre-order list for 2 Priority 600X's, and are psyched to "Get Out There"! Thank you for the great series and the inspiration. Stay well!!
You are gonna LOVE it!! And with the 600x, you’ll be cruising in style! Thanks so much for watching the series, lemme know if you have any questions about the gdmbr
Great series..Mira, the world's only herder of bike packing humans..She always fails to herd them, but never stops trying...But she never fails at making everyday better..
The best series yet! You are a truly fine human being, Ryan, and you’ve showed us the best of the United States and the best of humanity. Yes, it DOES feel like we’re out there with you. Also, thanks for respecting COVID-19 guidelines. Truly appreciate how hard it was to call the trip, but your decision demonstrated love and consideration for others. Thanks for leading by example.
Loved watching this! Such great images, nice people, the amazing landscapes, and of course, beautiful Mira. I bought a gravel bike in 2019 and inspired by your Love Cycle series, I went on 2-3 days bikepacking trips this summer : I had so much fun - would have liked to be able to do that every week end! Now that cold weather has arrived, I set up my bike on the trainer so that I’m ready as soon as spring 2021 arrives.
NOOOO! I work at a hospital in Oklahoma. Right now, COVID is not being kind to our state. It has made my job much more difficult the last several months, and it's been really ramping up the past several weeks. It's good to see you recognizing the pandemic for what it is, and for showing that kind of respect for the people of New Mexico. I have loved this series. It is so inspiring, and the GDMBR has been on my bucket list ever since I found out about it 5 or 6 years ago. Thank you so much for this series. I am truly sad that it's ending, and I will probably re-watch it at least a few times. I only found your channel earlier this year, but I'll definitely be a lifetime subscriber. I can't wait for whatever comes next!
I wish you all the best, I can only imagine that things are getting worse in the hospitals there, they certainly are here. Thanks for subscribing, and stay tuned for more!
Loved this series! Well, as a new viewer, I’ve loved them all so far. lol Thank you for the positivity and for all the work that goes into bringing us along! Safe travels
Super great job on the Great Divide series. Epic photography, good story, happy team of folks that joined you along the way. My wife and I have been following you for a year or so. We have watched most of your older videos as well. Thanks for your encouragement and positive attitude about cycling and touring. About 15 months you inspired us to buy some Trek hybrids and start riding and doing day tours all around Florida and across the country on rails to trails projects. We just about wore those bikes out after 4000 miles. The Baja, White Rim and Great Divide videos have inspired us to start some dirt road and gravel trails. We loved it. But we did not like cleaning and repairing and oiling our bikes. So much so, we called the guys at Priority with some questions. Guess who answered the phone? It was Dave! We bought two Apollo bikes. Yippee! When we get them we will be riding the dirt/gravel, thanks to you. Who says two 62 year olds can’t do gravel. We were in Boulder for 5 days in August and rode a bunch of trails around town and hiked. Seeing the last video we now know you were on the last day of Great Divide ride when we were in Boulder. Next summer, we will look you up and try to stop and take you out for a burrito. Keep on cycling!
Yet another outstanding series. And yes, I'll be back over as soon as the current obstacles are behind us. To experience and to share. Looking forward to your next posts.
RVD, WOW was that beautiful, terrific, fabulous, extraordinary, COLORFUL and more, nice job. All 24 episodes I watched and most of the time with one or 2 of my cats sitting in my lap watching along, they were purring so for sure they enjoyed the episodes as well, when Mirra came on there ears perked up and performed a "Happy Dance" (please tell John thanks for her). Thank you for the enjoyment it was GRAND. 🇺🇸💪🇺🇸👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸 SUPER-CALA-FRAGILISTIC-EXPEE-ALIDOCIOUS it was.
Having done Roadtrips (by car) extensively myself on my own I know how intense it is to film constantly, talk, ride and all that at once. Wow, this is such a beautiful series i wish I had gone forever. Thank you so much for taking the time to edit such an amazing series! i am absolutely blown away and after seeing the first episodes I started watching them while beingon the treadmill and it was the best, time just flew by! thank you!!!
Loved this series Ryan. Really great. Sincerely appreciate your being. Hey, would you consider a post trip review of all your gear? And you. How did you hold up?
Thank you so much for taking me along on your adventure. I enjoyed every minute of it. Cannot wait to see where you go next! I also want to give you props for respecting the covid-19 restrictions in New Mexico. Pedal, pedal, pedal!
Next ride ? Duzer does the ring road in Iceland ? I have been inspired by you to get out on my bike again and I thank you for that. Keep up the good work...
Ryan. You have inspired thousands of us to get out there and do it! Thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us. Every week I am thinking about how I can create my next bicycling adventure. It was so fun that you invited John, Mira, Kevin and Dana to join you on your trip riding the Divide. They are all, a long with you superheros in my book. Namaste....
Ryan, Thank you so much for this adventure. It is truly inspiring and totally captivated me. You have touched my heart and to see how you portray the beauty of love and how God shows us His presence in our beautiful country and world, it just humbles me. Like I said, I have power watch this entire adventure over like 4 days and it's cold in MN right now so I've been watching while riding my bike on my indoor training imagining being right there with you. This is a now a dream and to start small but every time I see a video of biking in the mountains it solidifies it more that I have to do it. I'm traveling to Tennessee next year in our RV and will be biking the Smokies on my road bike (so sticking to pavement) but one day, I'll be probably investing in the Priority 600x and will start small maybe with a two week bike packing journey. But for now. I'll be watching the rest of your past adventures. Thank you so much for what you do I'll be joining your Patreon and will hope to one day meet you somewhere, sometime on a ride!
Too many to count but...... YOU and your never ending cheer, kindness and humble yet incredible atleticism. (I looked it up and yes it is a word). Mira, of course. All your friends. The angels. The peeps. The views. The serenity. The excitement. Really wonderful Ryan. Thank you. LOVE ALWAYS!! Oh, not the food so much. ;-)
Love this.. nice way to tie everything together.. I look forward to seeing your Videos.. Ryan I like the way you tell a story.. Be Safe.. Pedal On !! 🚴♂️🌞🍁🇺🇸🍀... Billy Bikes 🚲
The adventure, the scenery, your infectious love for nature and life and friends along the way (and all things Mira) have made for wonderful footage as always. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Thank you SO MUCH for such a wonderful series, an amazing account of your trip on the GDMBR. The most impressive thing about your videos is your positivity. It's inspiring to see you taking everything in stride and with pleasure. That is no easy feat on the road on a bicycle with all the challenges, difficulties and hardships you face. And it's obvious why you befriend such amazing people - because they know an amazing person when they see one! Thanks again, and I think I speak for your entire audience when I say we cannot wait for your next series recounting amazing adventure, great people, adorable animals and the unknown around that next bend!
James here again from Steamboat and I'm looking over a now snowy section of the GDMBR. Just watched the final episode of your wonderful ride and like many of your viewers, I am a bit teary. Thank you so much, Ryan, for your energy, spirit and creativity. I hope to ride the Colorado section next summer happily singing "No crashies, No flatties, No Whammies!"
Thank you so much for taking covid seriously and respecting New Mexicos rules for quarantining for 14days. I live in New Mexico and have a friend and coworkers who just died from covid. Its been so heart breaking. I am so thankful for our Governor and trying to keep us all safe. I hope you can do the rest of the ride through New Mexico someday its a really beautiful state. Best time is fall or spring summer can get really hot. Love your videos! Thank you!
Amazing Ryan. This has been so inspiring during a hard year and a half. Your messages of love, kindness and positivity are what so many people need right now. Thank you - I have never been more motivated to get out and explore.
Thank you for your adventures, I bought a checkpoint alr5 and I wanted to plan a ride across America. You make everything look like we are missing out, you inspired me and i bought another bike that was a mountain bike, love riding the bike and helps climb the hill better. Keep up the great work keep us all happy. Thank you sir
Great project! Others are putting biking videos together now but you pull if off in a magic way. If there was an award for outdoor adventure videos, you would be in the running for winner. Duzer philosophy is a plus in your videos. Right decision on not being a bandit and going into New Mexico.
Wow!Wow!Wow! and Woof! Woof! Woof! Thank you Ryan for this spectacular adventure you've had and can't wait for your new ones. Each one who participated was special. Of course Mira won our hearts. Dogs always win. I know that from experience.
This has been my favourite video series from your channel so far. I've loved a lot of them - following along with your Nepal and Cuba trips was awesome - but this has been really special. This year has been so crazy for everyone around the world and I've felt quite low and unmotivated - but your positivity and the way you showcase the best parts of humanity and mother nature makes me feel ready to face a new day. Thanks Ryan, your content and adventures are inspiring! Love from the UK.
Hello Hannah! I appreciate your kind words, they mean a lot to me. I truly love showcasing the best of humanity, and I’m glad that it motivates viewers. I wish you all the best!
Great series, from a great positive guy! It was a true joy to follow your travels, day in day out. All the best from Finland! Tack så mycket Ryan för alla fina vyer och dina upplyftande tankar! Hälsningar, Niklas
Oh my gosh, the happy dancing! You are such an absolute joy of a human being.I feel ya on cutting a trip of a lifetime short. I never got to do my grand PCT hike adventure that I had planned for years and years in 2022. I'm hopeful to get to do the GDMBR this year and finally get to do a long distance adventure! Watching these videos in 2020 helped me through some tough times then, and watching them again this year in prep for the GDMBR has helped me through some tough life moments right now as well as preparing me to ride! THANK YOU RYAN
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and also agree it's your best. You've made the GDMBR approachable, thus inspiring many folks who thought it was too hard, by breaking down each video into one day of riding. Thanks.
I just finished watching the whole series and you are an amazing story teller and I am sold to something like what you have done. I am 65 years old and I absolutely going to do this. Thanks for documenting this the way you have done it.
Very cool, your attitude is everything. When the wind blows in yor face all day your attitude does,nt change. Gotta love a guy like that. Keep on pushing those feet moving forward. See you in the next adventure.
I hate to see this coming to an end. I have enjoyed this series more than anything on RUclips, or TV for that fact. It is my goal to start bikepacking next year now. I have binged your whole channel. Thank you for what you do!
Wow! Shocked to see the ride end, but I have so much respect for you and your decision. Loved watching your journey and I always looked forward to seeing a new video pop up. You have a fan for life. Thank you for sharing your journey and devoting so much of yourself to producing such a great series! You are awesome too!
thank you so much Ryan for the inspiration, entertainment and you are also showing people how to have hope, stay active and have adventures, whatever for that takes. I have a mountain one mile from my house criss crossed with trails that has become my gym. We need to keep going, get creative. I will be looking into that bike.
Man... You make me smile and cry at the same time. What a beautiful and inspire images and speech. Thanks for all affort to bring us all those wonderfull histories... Like I Said before... Brazil is waiting for you.
Thanks for this series! It was great to see what the trails/roads are really like and not just see people's highlights of their "amazing" moments. My husband and I are hoping to do it (a few years from now) and now we know we can...once we get our mountain bike tandem! Hopefully Priority will be in the tandem business by then. You are always so encouraging to the viewers and to the amazing Kevin! It's a great reminder that when we are on a trip and feeling the blues, it's a shared experience and part of the fun.
Hi Ryan, It feels sad in away that you couldn't finish your G.D.B.T .. We are all in a sad time at the moment due to this Covid pandemic, its really great that you have given your respect to your neighbour state and not to enter. These things are out of everyone's hands. I was the same with my trip. The favourite thing I found in your whole trip was the people you met on your way down, was their stories and their expression too. You cannot buy that experience in a shop!! We will see you soon again with your happy smiling face 🌝 Your friend Brian 🇺🇲❤🏴
Ryan, thank you for this terrific series of videos. I subscribed to your channel in 2019 shortly after a friend and I completed the Tour of the Canyons, which you and Dana had completed about two or three weeks before our tour (we made it to Moab on our own). I have done many multiple-day rides and definitely agree with you that you always meet a lot of kind and special people along the way. And, occasionally, if you are lucky, you meet a very special dog like Mira. I am looking forward to watching the videos from your next adventure. Thanks again!
I can’t believe it’s over! Thank you for taking us on your journey. In a weird way I felt like I was on this trip with you. You did your job because I am inspired. I had hip surgery a few months ago and this has really inspired me to get back on my bike. Thank you!
Hey Ryan, I just wanted to let you know that my sons and I rode 44 miles around Lake Meade last weekend! We stopped in the middle and made a camping style lunch and had an amazing day. I’ve taught my boy Xander to run along side me, and to see his little floof bounding next to me with his little happy face… I remember a few months ago when I rode again for the first time in over 30 years.. I rode my bike to my friends house just like when I was 12… I’m finding all of these little moments that have made me happier than any big adventure could. John and Mira sure did inspire me but your energy and spirit, well I guess I caught something from you dude. I feel awake, weird right? I’ve drawn inspiration from quite a few folks this year and I’ve grown accustomed to thanking each of you by saying “I would have gotten here without you, but I am sure glad I didn’t have to.” I’ll share some pics but I just wanted you to know that my family and I are out here living and riding and loving. I hope you find everything you’re looking for Ryan. Be well brother
Thank you Ryan for putting this all together! I have been following you for a couple of years and your videos inspire me! This series helped me to stay positive and plan my own trips during Melbourne lockdown in the last few months. Now restrictions are eased, I’m watching this last episode on a 3 hour train ride to start my first 4-day self supported bikepacking trip :)!! Thank you again for inspirations!!
Once again, another awe inspiring series. Gutted for it to have finished - Wednesdays and Sundays just won’t be the same! Thank you for being an inspiration - completed my 800th mile since March this morning and it’s all been thanks to you for getting me back out there. Looking forward to seeing more in the future and you are right - Mira steals the show every time! Sorry! 🤣
Good times. Thanks for the Adventure. Gonna miss these updates. Ever riding through Pennsylvania you have a place to pitch your tent. Looking forward to your next adventure. Favorite moment - Happy Dances and Mira, of course.
Well done Ryan! Epic. I thought it was an interesting event when John left the group. It is like life really, you never know what is going to change. I loved every bit and you inspire me all the time to do my cycling adventurers. You are above all safe and I like the fact you like to get off the road before sunset. I do the same and find it far too dangerous to be out on the road in the dead of night, particularly coming to the end of a long ride when concentration levels can get low. Keep safe and see you in the next video.
I absolutely loved this series. Your dedication and hard work have paid off! You are an inspiration and your joy contagious. You have me dreaming of days on a bike, enjoying my own heartbeat and the wonders that nature surprises us with and connecting with people.
Thanks for taking us all along with you on your adventure. I would have loved to see you make it to the end but I can't tell you how much I appreciate and respect your decision to play by the rules. All the best to you!!
This series of yours has truly given me something wholesome to look forward to during a difficult time in my life. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us and thank you for making me want to be a better person
I love this so much Ryan. You are exactly what we need and I've used the videos as a positive, feel-good way to end some evenings after all the craziness of these election/post-election days. Your message and outlook need to be shared as widely as possible. I'm encouraging a friend to share with her amazing daughter and to start with this last one. It sets the stage to then go back and enjoy the adventure from beginning to end. Thank you for all you do and your effort in the filming and editing is noted and well-met :)
Thank you Donnelle!! I'm so happy that you've been enjoying this. I agree, those election days were nuts, and editing this series helped me escape. Wishing you all the best
I didn't see this coming. I'm a bit sad because for many weeks you were able to make a difference in this guy's life. Every day, after work, I would open RUclips hoping I would have a new episode of your adventure, of the adventure I also want to do, so I could see with your eyes the beautiful country you live in, so I could feel what you were feeling. It made a big difference in my life as I moved 2 months ago to Spain (Portuguese in Barcelona) during covid19 and, unfortunately, these videos have been my company. I'll survive. I do hope you continue doing this as you'll inspire many like me to go out there and chance the world... I do hope it's an amazing place like you said. Good luck mate! It has been a pleasure! Luis
Thank you for the kind words Luis, they mean a lot to me. It brings me great joy knowing that these videos have been part of your life for the past few months. I wish you all the best on your future adventures, and stay tuned for more from me in the future...
Ryan you have been inspiring, I’m currently sitting in the middle of the Pisgah national Forest at the Linville Gorge with just me and my dog next to a campfire watching this last adventure on the divide. This backpacking trip most definitely spawned from watching your stories.
I can't share specifics on RUclips about my situation but will say it feels like I'm going thru the most difficult times of my life. That being said, I loved every minute of your video series on the GDMBR; I get charged up with hope not only for myself but for humanity as well. My favorites were when you were riding from Silverthorne to the Gunnison area, since I'm quite familiar with the areas. I will go back to some of your videos in the spring to study them. I plan on getting enough $$ together to fix up my ancient Trek commuter bike and do several one- three-day rides on sections of the GDMBR in our state next year. Thank you so much!
Amazing series Ryan! I so enjoyed it! Thank you for sharing it with us ... including your great friendships along the way including Myra! The natural beauty you showed us was fabulous. Your drone shots of those horses was something SO special! Big hugs from England!
The "Great Divide" actually brings people Together. Thank you, Ryan. Your post-production attention to detail and work is appreciated by everyone. You have inspired me, personally, to start the GDMBR in 2 week stages in 2022. I doubt I will have Mira waiting outside my tent in the morning with a stick! -- again, thank you and keep up the adVentures!
We really enjoyed watching your adventures travelling the Great Divide. Don't know how you made it look so easy. Hopefully we will make it across the pond from the UK and follow in your tracks (well some of the way). Well done Ryan, so inspirational!
Sincere thanks for your effort in putting the Great Divide series together Ryan. I have looked forward to every Monday and Thursday (Australia) to enjoy every episode. It has certainly inspired me to Get Out There. I lived every moment. Thanks for bringing John, Mira, Kevin, and Dana along on the journey. I’ll be looking forward to your next adventure 😊🇦🇺🚵🏽♀️
Great to see such an advocate for bike touring and the joy of it. He must have a high pain threshold! wonderful to watch , i can only dream of it cuz about 3 to 5 days is my limit. You really feel his enthusiasm breaking down barriers
Wow buddy! Thanks so much for this series I loved it. I would get home from mass on Sunday and watch your video. Now what lol! Thanks for giving me an out in this crazy world we live in. I watch your videos and can truly unwind. Can’t wait to see what is next for you, I’d love to see more single track in Colorado preferably the 401 trail. But whatever you do I’m sure it will be entertaining. Sorry you didn’t get to finish the ride, I know you will someday. TRULY THANK YOU!! 🙏🏻
I have followed this adventure since you first announced it. Whether on Facebook, Twitter, or RUclips Live, I have enjoyed every episode. During this pandemic, it has allowed me to dream of bike travel either in Cuba, GDMBR, or bike packing RAGBRAI. My favorite is the new use of music. Thank you.
Thank you so much Ryan for this series. You are awesome! You have really inspired me. Since I first saw your Caballo Blanco race with the Tarahumaras, I have gone from 120 Kg couch-potato to an 80 Kg Ultrarunner in three years, and I feel great. I run every single day and I feel guilty if I don't. All thanks to you! Un fuerte abrazo amigo! Cuídate! Dios te bendiga!
Thank you all for following along this incredible journey! It was an honor to share this story with you. Riding the GDMBR was a dream come true, and it didn't disappoint. I'm curious to hear about your favorite moment from the ride.
My favorite moment was when Mira photobombed your shot.
All the trail angel’s 👍
All your videos are amazing, but I had a crush on Mira...
It's been such a great series. Thanks for sharing it with us.
It’s too hard to pick any single favorite moment!! Thanks for sharing this journey
This whole series has been so entertaining, that it doesn't really feel like it's been 24 videos long.
I totally agree so relaxing but doesn't feel that long
I"m really going to miss this series. I ordered a 600X and can't wait to ride it. Mira is a special dog. Be well Ryan and thank you,
You are gonna LOVE that bike, stay tuned for a full review soon.
We did a full review of the bike and its components, and have made a lot of great changes, stay tuned for a full review!
As a European, it it pretty unimaginable to me that wilderness like these even exist....
Great watch!
Europe has awesome wildlife areas! I haven’t seen much just one trail in Austria and a few in France but it’s all there. You just have to go looking! One I know now is Fontainebleau on the outskirts of Paris
Yeah, we've got some WIDE OPEN space out here in the west. Thanks for watching!
Go to Sweden or eastern Europe and you will find true wilderness.
A quick search across the internet will quickly tell you otherwise. You have astonishing nature and wilderness spread across Europe, you just have to look for it. Putting it from your perspective almost makes Europe - and subsequent countries - seem like a no man's land.
When Mira left I cried like the first time I watched Titanic, now I'm crying again. Hopping that in the next adventure you find John again.
Oh those tears were felt my many, Mira is a special dog...but John and I are planning for the future, stay tuned!
Tonight when I rode my bike, l enjoyed an uphill for the first time. I’ve always dreaded uphills before, but seeing you and Kevin, I’m learning to appreciate them.
Sad the series had to end. Happy because it's made me interested in bike packing. I'll miss Mira.
I miss Mira too :( I hope you make some trips happen in the future
Hey Ryan, let me tell you something, again.. I was wrong. After 25 episodes, not the best divide series, but the best outdoors series ever. Perfect. And you did it.. you made the world better. Thank you.
This may be the best compliment I’ve ever received, thank you so much for watching!!
This was one of my favorite TV series of 2020, and definitely my favorite outdoor/adventure series. I've passed the links on to many of my friends here in Europe so that they can see the real America, and some authentic Americana.
I appreciate that Larry! Stay tuned for more, sometime down the road.
Thank you, that means a lot to me. My heart is full.
@@duzer You're welcome. I edited my comment to correct a spelling error.
Absolutely gutted that’s the last one. Can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed the trip. Thank you.
Me too.
I truly appreciate that, I do! It was a magical experience for me as well, and to be able to share it was a huge honor. Stay tuned my friend...there will be another adventure down the road
Proud of your convictions. You set a good example for folks in America. You're a good human. Keep up the good work.
Mama taught me well ;)
RVD, Thank you so much for bringing us all along on this fantastic adventure.
Summer is coming!!
What a gift to humanity. Thank you Ryan for this heartfelt series. You have helped change
my perspective on this “divide.” Perhaps both the political divide that separates us as well as the physical ride are more approachable than I previously thought. You are a breath of fresh air. No whammies!
Thanks Rex, I truly appreciate it. I hope you get to experience the magic of this route someday
You should be very proud of what you've put together here Ryan. Such an amazing trip that captured the beauty of both the landscapes and the people you met along the way. I'd love to see you come here and do a bike adventure with John and Mira through the Canadian Rockies.
I really hope to do some riding in the Canadian Rockies someday!
Thanks for taking all of us on this incredible Journey Ryan. I've watched every episode and enjoyed every second of it. Thanks for sharing, always look forward for the next upload. Very thankful for your time putting it all together.
My pleasure!
J
I love hearing this! 41 on 41 is huge. Wait till you turn 100, haha ;)
I knew this episode was coming but im not sad. Thank you so much for being our eyes and inspiration!
Thank you so much for following along, I can always count on you!
It does seem like a LOT of work to capture, maintain, and edit such a long trips. Thank you for sharing your adventures!
It sure is, but I love it. The ability to share this adventure is a true honor.
Great series..Mira, the world's only herder of bike packing humans..She always fails to herd them, but never stops trying...But she never fails at making everyday better..
Love this!!! Mira is the best human herder ;)
Amazing Ryan.... loved every minute of this adventure ... thank you again for sharing ,
and inspiring .
That was really fun and amazing. I enjoyed it so much I started to cry when you said it was over.
Awwwww
Loved watching this! Such great images, nice people, the amazing landscapes, and of course, beautiful Mira. I bought a gravel bike in 2019 and inspired by your Love Cycle series, I went on 2-3 days bikepacking trips this summer : I had so much fun - would have liked to be able to do that every week end! Now that cold weather has arrived, I set up my bike on the trainer so that I’m ready as soon as spring 2021 arrives.
Good to hear that you got a gravel bike! I wish you many happy adventures once the warmth comes back
Thank you for all the work and effort you put into this! I‘m a negative person at times, but a little „what would Ryan do“ helps every time.
Nice thought.
Thank you Ryan
Like your closing thoughts and respect for others.
Another great adventure!!! I'm sure I will watch this one over and over. The great divide is on my bucket list for sure!
When the pavement ends life begins!!! 😎
Well said!
So glad to hear that you got some Apollos, they're so nice!! Happy trails to you, and let me know the next time you're in Boulder!
Yet another outstanding series. And yes, I'll be back over as soon as the current obstacles are behind us. To experience and to share. Looking forward to your next posts.
I hope we can all travel freely again in 2021! I miss my international friends
@@duzer Yep. We'll just have to patient - (and budget a little more, cos when it all gets moving again prices will have hiked).
I followed this series and inspired me a lot. Can’t wait to see your Nxt adventure.
Love hearing this, happy trails to you!
@@duzer my dream to ride GDMBR.. hope the border will open Nxt year.
Thanks Karen, it was the right thing to do. There will be more adventures down the road, stay tuned!
Next ride ? Duzer does the ring road in Iceland ? I have been inspired by you to get out on my bike again and I thank you for that. Keep up the good work...
The ring road? I looked it up. It looks fantastic.
Namaste....
I'm so glad that we got to meet in real life! Excited to see you down the road
Thanks my man! Hope you're doing well my friend
Ryan Van Duzer Everything is good 🌞
The adventure, the scenery, your infectious love for nature and life and friends along the way (and all things Mira) have made for wonderful footage as always. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Thanks Shelly! It's an honor to share a piece of my life with you all
Good afternoon all. Hope everyone is having a great day.
You too!
It's just starting and it's already pretty good, thanks!
Thank you, my friend! I always appreciate your heartfelt comments. Stay tuned for...something! I’m not sure what, but it’ll be good. Cheers
Did you really go through the while trip with no flatties? Impressive!
I sure did! Not one flat tire
@@duzer Awesome! I guess you're going tubeless then?
Thank you Ryan. Thanks for the ride, the inspiration, the words of encouragement, and most of all thank you for the love we all can feel!
Thanks, Ron!
Not gonna lie pretty bummed this just ended
It's ok, I'm bummed too...but there will be more adventures down the road!
I bet it's snowy up there, I love how our seasons change in this state. You'll love the Colorado section, NO WHAMMIES!
It's A shame that you ride an e-nike, you must ride a BICYCLE!!! unless you have some physical problems :S
you are right! We love bicycles!
I hear that the Devil rides an ebike ;)
Mr Devil, he rides a reg bike not and e-Nike lol.
LUZBEL, would you elaborate on that statement? I don't get it.
I don’t get it either.
Thank you!
It was the right thing to do, I wanna keep NM safe! Love your state and hope to get there when this is all over.
Thank you for being creative, positive, and for inspiring us, from 00:01 in part 1 to 20:55 in part 24.
You're a Prince amongst men.
I really appreciate that, and I'll do my best to continue the vibe going forward!
You’re gonna LOVE the GDMBR so much!!! I’m excited for you
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and also agree it's your best. You've made the GDMBR approachable, thus inspiring many folks who thought it was too hard, by breaking down each video into one day of riding. Thanks.
That was my goal! Glad you enjoyed the series
I just finished watching the whole series and you are an amazing story teller and I am sold to something like what you have done. I am 65 years old and I absolutely going to do this. Thanks for documenting this the way you have done it.
Thank you for watching the series! I wish you all the best on your future adventures
"Lead with Love" - Fantastic way to end this Journey! Mira Rocks!
Thanks Marco! And yes, Mira does rock
Thank you! and I'll get to Brazil someday!!
Fun! That'll be a great adventure on a tandem. I'll ask Dave to hurry up and make one ;)
Hi Ryan,
It feels sad in away that you couldn't finish your G.D.B.T ..
We will see you soon again with your happy smiling face 🌝
Your friend Brian 🇺🇲❤🏴
Thank you!
I hope you're healing fast and able to get after it soon! Happy Trails
I love hearing all this!!! I bet Xander is a cool dog!! Sending you huge high fives from boulder. Happy trails my friend
Thanks Beverley! I've always had a rule about no biking after dark, it's just not worth the risk. Thanks for watching my videos!
I absolutely loved this series. Your dedication and hard work have paid off! You are an inspiration and your joy contagious. You have me dreaming of days on a bike, enjoying my own heartbeat and the wonders that nature surprises us with and connecting with people.
That's what its all about!
Thanks for taking us all along with you on your adventure. I would have loved to see you make it to the end but I can't tell you how much I appreciate and respect your decision to play by the rules. All the best to you!!
I’ll go back and finish it someday!
What a great journey! Thank you so much for sharing your heart and what ever weighs heavy on your mind and soul at the time. Never stop, never change.
Thank you so much! I appreciate that
This series of yours has truly given me something wholesome to look forward to during a difficult time in my life. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us and thank you for making me want to be a better person
You are so welcome! I wish you all the best, sending hugs from Boulder
Thanks for taking me along. This video is a good reminder to accept anything that comes my way.
Such a wonderful, inspirational, and heartfelt journey and goodbye you gave us Ryan. Love and kindness is the answer. Hugs Ryan.
Love and kindness all the way!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Enjoyed the series! Great content. Look forward to the next adventure. Thanks for taking us on the ride.
Thanks Michael!! I like that you get the videos on Happy Thursday ;)
It's so good to know people like you exist, Ryan. On to new adventures!
awww, thanks!
Thank you.
Thanks Craig! Hope you make some big adventures happen down the road
