Scotland is very pretty for drone flying and one day I should visit. The small "shelter" is interesting and I wonder why they'd be there and so available for folks to even set up for camping overnight.
The drone is funny with that wobble and jello and while I havent finished the video yet, I would imagine first it's a bent motor shaft. Or maybe the arms screws could be tightened. Curious to see how alternate props affect the performance.
Scotland is awesome to fly over and live in ;-) Bothy's are all over the Highlands I'll try and incorporate a few more on the channel :-) Replaced props no good on wobble, screws all checked for tightness, my thought is slight bend on motor shaft

Just bought this drone and really enjoying it. One problem though. Videos are recording very choppy and wifi signal weakens very fast. Using an iPhone XS Max. Is there a solution for this? I keep phone in airplane mode while flying so I don’t get any interference but videos are still choppy. Sorry I’m a novice.

I'd imagine the motor may have been lose in it's mount or like you said, a possible bent prop-shaft. From a flying point of view it's very capable for the price and probably good for practising, with regards video footage...it's not really usable it it but end of the day you get what you pay for .
Mine arrived today. You did not mention using an SD card. I find no reference to the video format and so I cannot view the recording. My other problem was the phone not accessing the app to download. You seemed to be using the google version I tried both but neither downloaded. Probably a phone issue. The vibration issue might be fixed with some discreet balancing
Ok I'm new to the drone world and just ordered this recently and everybody seems to be bitching about brushed motors. In layman's terms, what's wrong with brushed motors? besides the noise which I don't mind...do brushed motors not last long should i already start buying spare motors for this drone?
on the phone screen is lagging . Is that becase of the video on the phone or if i sees it on the pc is not going to lag?
What's the difference between eachine e511 and eachine e511s?
A year ago I paid $115 for a brushed GPS quad with 720p video and the camera angle had to be manually adjusted. Flight time was usually 4-6 minutes. To be fair it also had acro mode and had a pretty rugged frame. Overall though I think the E511 shows how far budget quads have come. Who knows what we'll see a year from now. :)

Hi, thanks for the great review! I just wondering on 1 thing: could I just mount a GoPro cam on the bottom of this drone, so the cheap built-in lens problem could be solved by that way?? Or the drone itself can not really fly with any extra weight?

I looked at this review because I wanted to buy the Visuo xs812 with gps. and 5Ghz WiFi, but my Samsung phone is only 2.4Ghz.
What would I be missing out on if I bought the Visuo xs812 and flew it with just the tx?

A nice looking drone with nice performance Tigger .... but that camera and 5G wifi FPV definitely takes this drone off my wish list. My new phone, and I suspect many other people's phones, doesn't have 5G wifi. The shakey/ jello video from the microSD card features in nearly all the YT videos I've seen so not good there either. Many thanks for the realistic review as always though.
You can buy it with out 5g.
I noticed in your testing you did not have your antennas up are they not real?
This is the second video I've seen of this machine showing bad vibration, and another review had jello on the video. I suspect prop vibration, but not sure if those props can be balanced easily. Perhaps one-piece props could be tried?
I have to admit that I've seen a few reviews of this and they all seemed to have a problem of some sort Though that is the first vibrator I've seen as mostly the problems have been with the app or sometimes the tx. It's not bad but I think I might wait a while to see if it gets some further development...... I won't be holding my breath though

What is a difference between drone E511S and E511 according to technical possibility (which one is better)??
Basically, the "S" has GPS built in, giving you access to position hold and other smart features

I think you get quite a lot for that money. For 100$ you get gps drone with nice working app with a lot of functions. Quite good choice. (Y)

Great review! I got one of these and though I'm not having the shaking issues that you did, I can't get it to record video or photos on the SD card. Can anybody help me out? The card's a good one, SanDisk Extreme V30 64GB. I can't find a way to format it in the app. Records to the phone ok, but the video is terrible, lots of lag...

Vibrations come from not placing on flat ground and you forgot to raise your antennas.

I purchased this drone and here are the issues I am having. I havent had this drone for 24 hours yet and I am having these problem.
PROBLEM # 1:
When I turned the drone on, it stabilized and then lands for no reason. Also, as soon as I turned the drone on, the remote/controller kept beeping (it beeped as soon as I turned it on). Even after a calibration it still kept beeping. As soon

Checks That I Did :
The battery on the Drone was at 98%
The Battery in the controller Remote were brand new (batteries were good).
The Drone was Calibrated
Check for GPS connection (11 Satellites were available)

As Soon as I Turn The Remote On It Beeps Immediately and keeps Beeping.
I turned on the Drone, then turned on the controller/remote and it just keep beeping as if the battery was low but the battery was at 98% and the batteries in the controller/remote were brand new.

The battery on the Drone was at 98%
The Battery in the controller Remote were brand new (batteries were good).
The Drone was Calibrated
Check for GPS connection (14 Satellites were available)

great video and I quite fancy that drone but I think I'd modify the fake antennas to hold my phone because it seems like a daft place to house the phone on the underside where I'm likely to hit it inadvertently. I've just subscribed to check out your other reviews

Do not buy this drone the quality is very bad, your motors will wear out very quickly
Bought and did not make 10 flights and engines crashed.
So far, January 29, they have not given me a solution.
