You may think you "know" but it wasn't true. She was just bitter and entitled because she felt being there longer and being white meant she deserved more. Taylor was doing better numbers and had better ratings from audiences. End of the day ESPN cares about money and views. They will promote who their audience wants to watch. She was just pissed that Taylor had the audacity to be preferred over her and BLACK.

Rachel worked hard, was fair and actually respected NBA players and utilized them, played HER role, and knew her role as the TV personality and not a former player, coach, etc. Just seeing how much Malike Andrew's is dropping the ball is a testament to how good Rachel was. Sometimes you don't know a good thing until it's gone and here's a prime example of that.

What I will say is the difference, though, is that Nichols was much better about not showing blatant bias like Andrews does. Her points were also a lot more coherent than Malika Andrews', mostly because she actually listened to what ppl said. I saw a RUclips lawyer say he'd guesstimate between $8-$12 million (have to factor in lawyer fees and taxes) but if she was making $1.5m to 1.75m a year (also have to factor in taxes)... she walked away with about 5-6 years of pay and then got to sign a contract multi-million dollar contract with Showtime Sports immediately which is rumored to also include points (equity) in the programs she has helped produce... even fractions of a point of equity in these shows add up... AKA AGAIN financially it more than worked out for her, but again got screwed out of her dream job as one of the main sportscasters for one of the biggest sports broadcasting outlets in ESPN (especially NBA rights) and she'll never get that type of shine again

I agree. As she said, she worked her butt off for many years, and if the contract was as stated, she got ripped off here. Never liked her, but that's just from the POV that they could have hired a model from FHM magazine or something. From day one, I could never stop looking at her teeth, which looked pretty mangled for an upper class person from money, but now it's her body weight ballooning up about 40 pounds. But hey, that's on me. She's about the game being played, and it's the viewer's job to focus on that topic. And this video is about a broken contract, so there.

@@Black____ Exactly. These people are tone deaf. 🙄. No one hated on her, and especially because she's a female. These posts act like we're living in 1962 and not 2022.
She should've kept her job? But we all heard the rumors from the bubble. Plus, Maria was on climb up.

She was awful but it had nothing to do with her gender. The questions she asked at press conferences were laughable.

Bro. People absolutely TRASH others behind closed doors. Without even knowing she was being recorded she spoke openly honestly AND respectfully of her colleague. The fact she got canceled is dumb to me and I'm a POC. She was also EXCELLENT at her job.

I remember when this happened and not really feeling any way about it. What she said might have been true. And it's talk that most people have in private about decisions that their jobs make. She should be able to sue them for spying on her honestly.

@@chuyozuna2398 agree that he's not the best, but ultimately they make an entertainment show and I can see where his personality fits there, like SAS I also think he's bad but gotta admit sometimes it's funny to watch. Even Molly had her moments besides being so annoying. But Malika I just can't fucking watch, make me cringe the way she handles her show so full of herself always arguing like she's not just a moderator. Maria Taylor is not very annoying at least but she's definitely noy funny, but whatever they're perfect for wackk ass americans who watch entertainment shows just to feel better about themselves because they spent a hour watching black people, like they're doing charity or something 😂
