damn what a driver
Thanks for the update.
M90s are unsung heros lol
Just about to do this to my mx83 man, good little vid dude sounds sick! Also a QR regular might see you around
Thanks man. Nice, I’ll be there for matsuri next month. Feel free to come say hi if your there.
I want to put a m 90 in a cj 5 with limited fire wall space . We're did you get the curved air in take . Thanks for the video
That sounds like a fun combo. Its the stock intake for the Holden Commodore M90. The Eaton supercharger casings vary depending on what vehicle they were designed for. There are plenty of cheap M90s from commodores here in Australia but freight may be costly depending on where you are located
Which 1UZ rendition are you using, block and heads? What do you do to the throttle cable when you supercharge it, do you use the stock throttle body?
Its a stock non vvti 1uz block and heads. I use a ported throttle body from the L67 supercharged V6 motor so i can use its factory intake elbow. I took both the 1uz and L67 throttle cables to my local brake and clutch shop and the joined the two has the correct ends to match the car and throttle body
🔥🔥🔥
Hi There , I have some questions about the M90 , can you please help ?
Sure. Message me through Facebook messenger and we can chat.
I have messaged you 😊
Sweet. i have the Eaton M1-12. setting it up draw through under a holley 650 cfm on the side where your filter is, and the whole thing mounted to an edelbrock dual plane. Looking for a water to air intercooler to sandwich between. good luck. Am in brisbane. You in the hood ?
Awesome. That would be an impressive setup to see. Thankyou
Damn bro you was ripping it! What kind of diff you running ? Glad she’s holding upp well too the heat and boost really is reassuring to know before i do the same.
Thanks man. Its the stock diff just with a welded center. It Has held up very well. Very cool man i hope it goes well for you
@@Brodorsport awesome my dawg I have a welded diff two it’s really fun, honestly one of the most controllable slides ever with it. Also I appreciate it bruh I hope too all goes well 💪🏿
Yeah man i agree 100%, locked diffs feel super consistent and controllable for drifting. Thanks you too 👍
that's an awesome build you did everything right it sounds sick it's working good job man..I'm currently doing the same build with a Eaton m90 generation 3 it's ported polished I'm running a 2.8 pulley but looking at your video it seems like I'm going to need a 2.4 I'm doing this on a vk45de Nissan motor that motor has 340 horsepower stock ..my question was did you need to upgrade your injectors and if you did what size did you get because I'm looking at some 660 cc's injectors.. just want to know if they'll do the job .. with a couple mods and tunes the car is already about 380 horsepower.. thank you for any insight you can give me
Thanks man I appreciate that. That sounds like a awesome build. I was running 315cc injectors at this point in time and they ran at 85% duty cycle peak. So 600cc will be fine for your setup. I am currently upgrading my injectors to 600cc e85 compatible injectors aswell so i can run a flex fuel setup.
Thank you bro I appreciate it
How much overall power do you get?? It sounds so good.
Thanks man. It made 295rwhp & 327lbft of torque when i first had it tuned but i havnt had it on the dyno since the supercharger has been ported and headers installed. I also have a intercooler on it now but no results as of yet.
@@Brodorsport ahhh hell yeah! Non intercooled set up, did you run into any problems? I’m thinking of going non intercooler set up just to get it started
The only issue really in my case is Hot air temps out of the supercharger because i am spinning the M90 faster to produce 10psi. It Would be alot safer to run 6psi for cooler air temps or pick a larger supercharger such as a m112 or m122 if you can pick one up for the right price if you want to run more than 6psi in my opinion
@@Brodorsport ahhhh okay gotcha ! I planned on going m90 because I can find them for so much cheaper lol. I have a 95 LS400 that is currently in the process of getting manual swapped as well. I swapped in a 1uz from my 94 so it’s the thicker rod motor. I’m just planning to have a little fun with it is all haha
Yeah i say go for it if you can pick one up cheap. They definitely add alot of low end torque which is the best part of this setup in my opinion.
What do you do for engine management with the m90
I have a Haltech Elite 2000 ecu
Need those maps please.
Is m90 a better choice to the 1uz compared to m112
The larger supercharger will be more efficient and will have cooler intake air temps. The only benefit of the m90 is that it is cheaper to buy compared to a m112 or m122 supercharger.
is it better to go M112? im not looking for crazy gains.. if i can run stock ecu i will.. i want the car to be completely daily drivable that can do light track and autocross occasionally? Thanks
M112 would be perfect for that application in my opinion.
@@Brodorsport thanks for your replies and time sir🫡
Any limiter bumping
Yes i did touch limiter a few times throughout the day. Handles it now worries.
