Hahaha so there's a thing once you get your catering bag verified. You'll get catering bag orders, which is any order with a subtotal over $100. Your real LOP orders will be a base pay of $8 and usually have a much higher subtotal. Trust me, when you get your first real one, you'll know. So glad you got on the program finally! Also I don't know about your area, but in Albany peak LOP times are between 6-8am and 10am to noonish. That's when businesses are usually getting meeting food brought in. Hope that helps!
Large order program is a game changer. There was a Saturday a month back where I got 4 large orders in a row. In 4 hours I made 200 bucks. You don’t always get them. But sometimes you get them in bunches.
Not anymore. With Dasher Rewards involved in Cincinnati market last month I haven't received large order (Catering Bag Required) since April 28 . LOP was used to be for Low AR to top Dasher AR but not anymore in Cincinnati market. I have get to be large order status again by doing 70 percent AR with Platinum status. Keep it up! A lot of people probably show the $50 ones but leave out the five dollar ones. But 15 bucks for that order was great. They should all be like that. Congrats on getting on LOP, keep in mind the best/higher paying orders will be during dinner shifts. BTW most LOP orders are at least $100 worth of food minimum. However I had one where it was about $20 worth of food and it asked me to take a picture of the catering set up. I just took a regular pick of me handing to customer , who admitted they marked it as catering order by mistake. lol Still, they tipped me well. Biggest single LOP I had so far was $107 after completion and took 35mins another was a stack and paid $137 and took 56mins. Both were dinner shift orders. Highest LOP for lunch was $38 , took me 20 mins to complete and it was from a chick-fil-a

Watch out if you get a catering going to a Hospital, Doctors hate tipping and what is quoted is what you may only get. If you do have to set up an order there is an extra $3 after you submit a picture. Pretty easy to set up as app will walk you through it with pics/directions. Do you work weekends? Deborah, a subscriber told me the secret to getting in LOP is to order a catering bag from DD. I ordered a bag at midnight and got the welcome to the large order program email the next afternoon.
I've noticed with Door Dash if it's over I believe 4 items it's considered a catering bag order, we get a lot of Cheesecake factory catering bag orders.
The LOP is pretty awesome! Just be aware that you can get stiffed on those too. Large orders are supposed to pay more but I’ve gotten quite a few that don’t go up at all after delivery.
Just to give you an idea of what you’re looking at. A couple weeks ago, I got a chipotle for $12 going 1.2 miles, after delivery, it went to $191! No kidding! Good luck Brother.
The "catering" order didn't seem like it should've been a catering order. I have definitely picked up orders that size or even slightly bigger on a regular order. Congrats on making the LOP!

Amazing how close your guess was. My wife usually prepares an assortment of cheeses, salamis, crackers, olives and pickles and puts them in her snackle box. I usually make my world famous smokey chipotle pimento cheese and my spicy creole chicken salad. ( Recipes possibly coming to a livestream soon.)
On a lot of those orders that are around $6 + I usually see that it's a just a meal or two so just figure it's going to be bare pay plus a standard $5.00 tip. Unless it's a nice sub total 👍. Enjoy the videos, thanks for sharing.

90% of the time you're picking up no more than 1 or 2 drinks and you can just use your car's cupholders. Restaurants usually give you cardboard drink carriers.

I do lunch quite a bit. Yes, I get orders from everywhere in St. Marys. Everything from your favorite, Dollar General to Yankee Pie APizza, which is close to the river. They throw in a Papa John's order occasionally. I guess everyone is busy when they do that. I get orders from Compas that say I need a catering bag. Both towns are interesting to DD in.
I got a catering bag required and I got a $30 tip for only a mile away. It’s wasn’t even that huge maybe like 10 items. I purchased a catering bag because I missed out on one of those before. I was so mad I didn’t have a big bag!
How do I activate the catering bag? I have spoken to support numerous times and nothing has happened. Can you tell me a way to talk to Doordash to activate it. I meet all the requirements, but I cannot activate the Larger Order Program
Here's what worked for me. I ordered the official DoorDash catering bag from the DoorDash website. In the space where it asked for my dasher ID I put the email associated with my dasher account. The next day I got the welcome email.

I had catering, but then it disappeared, I didn’t deliver for 1 month, a month later I received a letter that I have access to large orders, but I still can’t deliver catering, the support service is not helping. Tell me what should I do to get the catering back?
